Під час повітряної тривоги в місті Києві 22 грудня стався обвал стелі у зв’язку з проривом труби в укритті школи 1981 року, коли там перебували діти. Унаслідок інциденту ніхто не постраждав, повідомив заступник міністра з питань стратегічних галузей промисловості України Тимур Ткаченко в Telegram.
Він додав, що деталі події вже встановлюються. Найближчим часом буде працювати слідчо-оперативна група, проведуть експертизу.
“Ми були в цьому укритті зовсім нещодавно — одразу після його ремонту, який було зроблено за небюджетні кошти благодійного фонду. Як бачимо, до безпеки треба підходити значно ретельніше!” — додав Ткаченко.
Також було опубліковано відео інциденту.
Згодом у Київській міській військовій адміністрації уточнили, що аварія сталася в укритті однієї зі шкіл Соломʼянського району Києва. Там зірвало вентиль батареї опалення.
„Стеля в даному укритті типу «армстронг» — з легкими плитами, які швидко увібрали в себе воду та набрякли. Внаслідок значного збільшення ваги за рахунок води, обвалився сегмент підвісної стелі”, — пояснили в КМВА.
Через інцидент проведуть службову перевірку. Зараз укриття обстежують та готують до ремонту. Підрядна організація зобовʼязалася усунути наслідки аварії до ранку понеділка, 25 грудня, за позабюджетні гроші.
„Влада міста, керівники районів Києва та безпосередньо відповідальні за укриття докладають максимум зусиль аби всі обʼєкти цивільного захисту були безпечними. Ніхто не застрахований від позаштатних ситуацій, але ми зробимо усе можливе, аби мінімізувати ризики таких аварій в майбутньому… Після ремонту укриття пройшло перевірку”, — запевнили в повідомленні.

Щонайменше семеро людей загинуло і понад 20 отримало травми в результаті обвалу підпірної стіни на відвідувачів весілля в північному штаті Уттар-Прадеш, повідомила місцева влада.
Трагедія сталася в Госі, розташованому приблизно за 300 кілометрів на схід від столиці Уттар-Прадеш. На відео, зафіксованому на місці події, видно групу жінок, які йдуть вузькою вулицею вслід за барабанщиками, коли раптом на них обвалюється стіна. Після цього вулицю вкрила пилюка і почалася паніка.
Загинуло п’ятеро жінок і двоє дітей. Постраждалих доправили до лікарні. Поліція розпочала розслідування для встановлення точних обставин трагедії.
Головний міністр штату Уттар-Прадеш заявив, що кожна із сімей тих, що там загинули, отримає 2397 доларів компенсації, а постраждалі – по 599 доларів.

Причини обвалу будівлі, яка перебувала в доволі поганому стані, поки що невідомі. За даними влади, у триповерховому помешканні проживало 13 сімей, загалом 54 людини.
За даними МВС, двоє пожежників віком 40 і 23 років прибули на місце події після обвалу, але стався ще один, унаслідок якого вони загинули. Під завалами знайшли тіло й третьої жертви – 79-річного чоловіка.
На Кубі багато будинків та іншої інфраструктури перебувають у незадовільному стані, оскільки протягом десятиліть їх або не обслуговували зовсім, або лише частково.

Унаслідок обвалу ґрунту в нефритовій шахті в штаті Качін на півночі М’янми зникли безвісти понад 30 людей, восьмеро зазнали травм, повідомив керівник рятувальної операції.
Очільник місцевої рятувальної групи, яка координує пошуки, розповів, що шахтарів унаслідок зсуву знесло в озеро поблизу села Манна.
«Земля та уламки з кількох шахт зсунулися на 304 метри в озеро під шахтами, змітаючи працівників», – повідомив рятувальник.
Унаслідок інциденту зникли 34 людини. Після пошуків на озері 8 осіб були доставлені в лікарню.
Жертвами зсувів, як правило, стають незалежні шахтарі. Вони працюють біля величезних куп землі, викопаних важкою технікою, що використовується гірничодобувними компаніями, і шукають шматки нефриту в піску на дні покинутих шахт. Більшість із цих людей є іммігрантами без документів з інших регіонів.
Тут видобувають одні з найбільш якісних нефритових каменів у світі.
Нефрит щорічно приносить М’янмі мільйони доларів доходу, але ці кошти йдуть переважно приватним особам або компаніям. Величезна кількість коштовного каміння контрабандою вивозиться до Китаю.
Унаслідок зсуву в цьому ж районі в липні 2020 року загинули щонайменше 162 людини, а в листопаді 2015-го – 113 осіб.
