Унаслідок обвалу ґрунту в нефритовій шахті в штаті Качін на півночі М’янми зникли безвісти понад 30 людей, восьмеро зазнали травм, повідомив керівник рятувальної операції.
Очільник місцевої рятувальної групи, яка координує пошуки, розповів, що шахтарів унаслідок зсуву знесло в озеро поблизу села Манна.
«Земля та уламки з кількох шахт зсунулися на 304 метри в озеро під шахтами, змітаючи працівників», – повідомив рятувальник.
Унаслідок інциденту зникли 34 людини. Після пошуків на озері 8 осіб були доставлені в лікарню.
Жертвами зсувів, як правило, стають незалежні шахтарі. Вони працюють біля величезних куп землі, викопаних важкою технікою, що використовується гірничодобувними компаніями, і шукають шматки нефриту в піску на дні покинутих шахт. Більшість із цих людей є іммігрантами без документів з інших регіонів.
Тут видобувають одні з найбільш якісних нефритових каменів у світі.
Нефрит щорічно приносить М’янмі мільйони доларів доходу, але ці кошти йдуть переважно приватним особам або компаніям. Величезна кількість коштовного каміння контрабандою вивозиться до Китаю.
Унаслідок зсуву в цьому ж районі в липні 2020 року загинули щонайменше 162 людини, а в листопаді 2015-го – 113 осіб.

Нагадаємо, 24 липня близько 19-ої години до поліції надійшло повідомлення про обвал транспортного мосту на трасі Н-09 зі сполученням «Мукачево-Рогатин-Львів», в межах населеного пункту Бедевля Тячівського району.
Внаслідок обвалу однієї із секцій, два транспортні засоби провалились в річку – вантажівка та легковик.
В результаті травмувалося п’ятеро осіб: двоє жінок та троє неповнолітніх, віком 10, 15 та 17 років. Всіх потерпілих госпіталізували до медзакладу із травмами легкої та середньої важкості. Їм надають необхідну допомогу.
Слідчі Головного управління Нацполіції в Закарпатській області внесли дані відомості до Єдиного реєстру досудових розслідувань. Подію кваліфікували за статтею 288 Кримінального кодексу України. Йдеться про Порушення правил, норм і стандартів, що стосуються убезпечення дорожнього руху.
У справі буде проведено ряд необхідних експертних досліджень. Правоохоронці встановлюють всі обставини та причини події.

У Хустському районі на Закарпатті обвалився міст через річку Тересва.
Про це Суспільному повідомив начальник управління інформаційної діяльності Закарпатської ОДА Роман Молдавчук, передає УНН.
За попередньою інформацією, вантажівка, яка везла пісок, була перевантажена, а міст має обмеження по вазі. Окрім, того один легковик також провалився. Попередньо троє госпіталізованих, надається меддопомога, — розповів Роман Молдавчук.
Об’їзд для транспорту організували через Нересницю.
Як повідомив журналіст Віталій Глагола, попередньо під час обвалу мосту пошкоджено 2 авто: легковик Skoda на польскій реєстрації та вантажівка. У лековику було 5 людей. 1 жінка у важкому стані. Загалом 3 потерпілих. Ще один пасажир без сильних травм. Водій вантажівки без травм.
„Наразі рух цією ділянкою паралізовано. Увесь рух направлено обʼїзд, який займає 35км шляху”, – зазначив журналіст.

У Греції в неділю обвалився міст на в’їзді до міста Патри, внаслідок чого щонайменше дві людини загинули.

За інформацією грецьких ЗМІ, у цей час під мостом перебувала група ромів, рятуючись від спеки.
Є побоювання, що під бетонними плитами, які обвалились, може бути багато людей.
«Ми можемо підтвердити, що міст обвалився. Ми працюємо на місці події. Люди опинились у пастці, але ми не знаємо їх точної кількості», – заявили у пожежній службі.
Рятувальні роботи тривають, десятки рятувальників розбирають завали.
З Афін на допомогу направлено пожежників та поліцейських.
Міст, що розташований на в’їзді до Окружної дороги, будували протягом двох років.
Причини обвалення споруди наразі не встановлено.

У столиці Єгипту, Каїрі, у понеділок обвалився житловий будинок, унаслідок чого загинуло щонайменше 9 людей, передають ЗМІ.
Державне інформаційне агентство MENA повідомило, що рятувальні групи дістали з-під уламків чотириповерхівки в районі Хадаек ель-Кубба щонайменше 9 тіл.
Витягли також чотирьох осіб, які вижили, їх госпіталізували. Тим часом влада евакуювала мешканців сусідніх житлових будинків з міркувань безпеки, інформує MENA.
За попередніми даними, будівля могла обвалитися через те, що один із жителів першого поверху під час ремонту розібрав стіни. Чоловіка затримали, проти нього відкрили кримінальне провадження.
Міністерство соціальних справ заявило про надання сім’ям потерпілих допомоги в еквіваленті близько 2000 доларів.
Обвалення споруд доволі поширене в Єгипті через непрофесійне будівництво та відсутність технічного обслуговування. За останній місяць у країні таким чином було зруйновано кілька будинків. Зокрема в суботу обвалилася стара будівля в Александрії, на півночі Єгипту, а в неділю – у Бехейрі, унаслідок чого п’ятеро людей загинули, ще 11 зазнали травм.

У США трапилась надзвичайна ситуація – у Монтані обвалився міст через річку Єллоустоун. Інцидент трапився як раз, коли ним рухався поїзд з небезпечними речовинами, пише Reuters.
Внаслідок обвалення конструкції у воду впали “кілька небезпечних вагонів”, розповіли в компанії Montana Rail Link. Обійшлося без жертв та постраждалих.
За словами представників компанії, залізничні вагони перевозили асфальт і розплавлену сірку – речовини, які швидко тверднуть при контакті з нижчими температурами. Ще два вагони, в яких був гідросульфат натрію – кисла сіль – у річну не потрапили.
За даними ЗМІ, місцева влада поки що не може точно визначити, що сталось раніше – сходження вогнів поїзда з рейок чи обвалення мосту.
“Водоочисні споруди, іригаційні райони та промислові компанії вживають відповідних запобіжних заходів”, — йдеться у повідомленні офісу шерифа округу Єллоустоун.

Золота шахта на півдні Венесуели обвалилася через просідання ґрунту, в результаті чого загинуло щонайменше дванадцять шахтарів, повідомила в неділю місцева влада.
Тіла загиблих були знайдені й передані родичам.
Смертельний обвал стався в середу на шахті Талавера в муніципалітеті Ель-Кальяо. Шахти були затоплені внаслідок проливних дощів, і лише в суботу пошуково-рятувальні команди змогли дістатися до загиблих шахтарів.
За словами Едгара Колі, голови Боліваріанського державного управління цивільного захисту, ще 112 шахтарів вижили після катастрофи. Він додав, що в неділю влада продовжить пошуки інших вцілілих і постраждалих.
Шахта Талавера експлуатується в примітивному режимі шахтарями, які не мають ліцензії. Шахта розташована в так званій зоні видобутку корисних копалин Оріноко.

Майк Матсен, мер Девенпорта, заявив, що більшість людей не вдалося знайти і що їх шукають, але він не назвав конкретної кількості постраждалих або району, де сталася трагедія. Обвал стався незадовго до 17:00 за місцевим часом.
Семеро людей були врятовані пожежниками, за даними місцевої служби з надзвичайних ситуацій, і більше десятка вивели з будівлі або вони змогли вибратися самостійно.
Спеціальні рятувальні команди також були викликані для допомоги в розборі завалів і продовжували пошуки протягом всієї ночі.
