Négy feltételezett iszlamista terroristát fogtak el Németországban szerdán – közölte a szövetségi legfőbb ügyészség.
A tádzsik férfiakat Észak-Rajna-Vesztfáliában vették őrizetbe egy több helyszínen tartott razzia során.
A csoport ugyancsak tadzsikisztáni állampolgárságú feltételezett vezetőjét már tavaly márciusban elfogták, a 30 éves férfi előzetes letartóztatásban van.
A legfőbb ügyészség adatai szerint az öt férfi tavaly januárban csatlakozott a magát Iszlám Államnak (IÁ) nevező terrorszervezethez.
Először azt tervezték, hogy visszatérnek hazájukba és az IÁ nevében részt vesznek a volt szovjet tagköztársaság kormánya elleni fegyveres harcban.
Később szíriai és afganisztáni IÁ-vezetőkkel konzultálva módosították tervüket, elhatározták, hogy németországi amerikai katonai létesítmények ellen intéznek támadásokat, és meggyilkolnak egy embert, aki megítélésük szerint az iszlámmal szemben kritikus kijelentéseket tett a német nyilvánosságban.
Az előkészületek részeként megfigyelték az illetőt és több amerikai légi támaszpontot. Beszereztek továbbá lőfegyvereket és lőszereket, és a csoport vezetője szert tett egy úgynevezett nem konvencionális robbanószerkezet elkészítéséről szóló leírásra. A szerkezethez szükséges anyagok közül néhányat megrendeltek az interneten.
A csoport működésének finanszírozására, illetve az IÁ támogatására pénzt gyűjtöttek. A csoport vezetője elfogadott egy 40 ezer dolláros megbízást is, amely egy Albániában végrehajtandó gyilkosságról szólt. Egyik társával el is utazott a balkáni országba, de a megbízást nem tudták teljesíteni, és rövidesen visszatértek Németországba.

A tizenhárom éves fiú egy pokolgépes merényleteket tervező nemzetközi neonáci csoportot irányított egy észtországi kisvárosból – hozta nyilvánosságra szombaton a helyi sajtó.
Feuerkrieg Division néven működő csoport robbantásos merényletet tervezett a Las Vegas-i zsinagógánál és egy nagy amerikai hírcsatorna ellen is.
Harrys Puusepp, az észt elhárítás szóvivője arról adott tájékoztatást, hogy a rendőrség még január elején szállt ki egy helyszínre, mert veszélyforrásként azonosították a Feuerkrieg Division egyik résztvevőjét és „felfüggesztették részvételét” a szervezetben. Puusepp csak annyit árult el, hogy 14 év alatti gyanúsítottról van szó, így büntetőjogilag nem lehet felelősségre vonni, más eszközökkel kellett fellépniük. Kiemelte a helyi hatóságok és szülök szerepét.
Az Eesti Ekspress című észt lap azt írja, hogy a Feuerkrieg Division tagjai a Wire nevű appon keresztül kommunikáltak egymással és egy ilyen beszélgetés kiszivárgott leiratából az derül ki, hogy a magát a csoport alapítójának nevező, Commander, vagyis Parancsnok felhasználó nevet használó tag Észtország legnagyobb szigetén, Saaremaán él. Az Eesti Ekspress azt írja, hogy a Parancsnok egy 13 éves fiú, aki valójában nem tekinthető a decentralizáltan működő csoport vezetőjének, de kulcsszerepe volt a Feuerkrieg Division működésében.
A Rágalmazásellenes Liga (ADL) nevű szervezet szerint a Feuerkrieg Division rasszok közötti háború kirobbantását tartja kívánatosnak és az elképzelhető legszélsőségesebb rasszista nézeteket terjeszti. Oren Segal, az ADL extremizmuskutatója arra mutatott rá, hogy a gyerekek sokszor nemcsak célpontjai a rasszista csoportoknak, hanem működtetnek is ilyeneket, mert rabul ejti őket, hogy befogadja őket egy közösség, amelyre aztán jelentős befolyással is lehetnek.
A Feuerkrieg Division ügyében az amerikai Szövetségi Nyomozó Iroda (FBI) is nyomozott, mert a csoporttal felvette a kapcsolatot egy olyan férfi is, aki később gyújtóbombát akart dobni az ADL egyik irodájára, valamint egy zsinagógára is. Bűnösnek vallotta magát, jelenleg az ítélethirdetésre vár. Egy másik amerikai férfi, aki szintén kapcsolatban állt az észt fiú csoportjával, a CNN amerikai hírtelevízió ellen akart pokolgépes merényletet elkövetni.
A Feuerkrieg Division tagjainak üzenetváltásaiból arra lehet következtetni, hogy a többi tagnak fogalma sem volt arról, hogy a Parancsnok egy 13 éves fiú. A Parancsnokot egyébként az ADL úgy azonosította, hogy a csoportnak küldött egyik üzenetéből a fiú lakóhelye és az egyik legnagyobb internetes videójátékáruházban használt azonosítója visszakereshetővé vált.

Az afgán különleges erők elfogták az Iszlám Állam afganisztáni vezetőjét és a terrorszervezet további 19 harcosát, köztük két magas rangú parancsnokát – jelentették az afgán biztonsági hatóságok szombaton.

Az ENSZ egyik jelentése szerint a Maulavi Abdullah nevet is használó férfi nagyjából egy éve irányította az Iszlám Állam afganisztáni működését.
Az Iszlám Állam 2015-ben jelent meg Afganisztánban, azóta számos támadást hajtott végre elsősorban síita mecsetek ellen, illetve különféle rendezvényeken. Az ENSZ adatai szerint a legtöbb merényletet a kelet-afganisztáni Nangarhar és Kunar tartományban, valamint Kabulban hajtották végre. A terrortámadásaik száma különösen 2018-ban volt magas, azóta csökken.
Az Iszlám Állam tagjaival a tálibok is harcban állnak. Legutóbb a terrorszervezet márciusban egy meghalt síita politikai vezető megemlékezésén, majd egy szikh templomnál hajtott végre támadást, ezekben a merényletekben legalább 55 ember halt meg.

A 29 éves Brenton Tarrant videokapcsolaton keresztül nyilatkozott, és beismerte a bűnösségét 51 gyilkosságban, 40 gyilkossági kísérletben, valamint terrorizmus vádjában – jelentette a TVNZ helyi televíziós csatorna a rendőrség közleményére hivatkozva.
„Oh, rendben. Igen, bűnösnek” – válaszolta a gyanúsított arra a kérdésre, hogy bűnösnek vagy ártatlannak vallja-e magát mind a 92 vádpontban.
Korábban még tagadta bűnösségét a szélsőjobboldali nézeteket valló férfi, aki a fehér felsőbbrendűség eszméjének híve.
Tárgyalása júniusban kezdődött volna, de a bíróság a beismerő vallomás nyomán rögtön ítéletet fog majd hirdetni, egyelőre azonban nem tudni, hogy mikor.
A tavalyi christchurchi terrortámadás volt a legtöbb áldozatot követelő tömeggyilkosság Új-Zéland történetében. Az elkövető a merénylet előtt hosszú kiáltványt tett közzé, amelyben azt hangoztatta, hogy tettét bevándorlásellenessége motiválta. Őrizetbe vétele után két elmeorvosi vizsgálat is mentálisan egészségesnek ítélte.
A történtek után a szigetországban jelentősen megszigorították a fegyvervásárlás és -tartás szabályait.

Értesülések szerint a támadók között öngyilkos merénylők is voltak. A Tolonews című afgán hírportál szemtanúkra hivatkozva robbanásokról számolt be.
A támadás elkövetését egyelőre egyetlen csoport sem vállalta magára, ebben a hónapban az Iszlám Állam nevű terrorszervezet fegyveresei már megtámadtak egy kabuli, síiták által szervezett emlékünnepséget, és több mint húsz embert megöltek.
Zabihullah Mudzsáhid, a kormányellenes, fegyveres tálibok egyik szóvivője Twitteren leszögezte: nem ők az elkövetők.
A szunnita többségű Afganisztánban a szikhek – a síitákkal együtt – gyakran válnak diszkrimináció áldozatává. A szélsőséges tálib kormányzat idején sárga karszalag viselésére kötelezték őket, noha a rendelkezés betartását nem ellenőrizték.
Az elmúlt években Afganisztán hindu és szikh közösségének nagy része Indiában keresett menedéket, a szikhek közül már csak körülbelül ezer maradt az országban

A krakkói bíróság három és fél évi letöltendő szabadságvesztésre ítélte a Kárpátaljai Magyar Kulturális Szövetség (KMKSZ) ungvári székházának 2018-as felgyújtási kísérlete kapcsán elindított per fővádlottját, Michal P.-t, a két tettestársra is büntetéseket szabtak is.
Az ítélet nem jogerős, a sajtó még nem számolt be a felek
esetleges fellebbezési szándékáról.
A bíróság terrorcselekménynek minősítette a tettet.
A vádirat szerint a Falanga nevű neonáci szervezethez, valamint
a Változás (Zmiana) nevű, parlamenten kívüli oroszbarát lengyel
törpepárthoz közelálló Michal P. azzal bízta meg a másik két
gyanúsítottat, Adrian M.-t és Tomasz Sz.-t, hogy gyújtsák fel a
KMKSZ ungvári épületét. Az eset 2018. február 4-én történt, a
férfiak Molotov-koktélt dobtak be a KMKSZ-székház egyik ablakán.
Az irodában tűz ütött ki, de senki sem sérült meg.
A bíróság Tomasz Sz.-t egyévi letöltendő szabadságvesztésre,
Adrian M.-t pedig kétévi szabadságkorlátozásra és közérdekű
munkavégzésre ítélte el. Az elítéltekre emellett bírságot
szabtak ki, valamint több mint kétezer zlotyt (154,2 ezer forint)
jóvátételt a KMKSZ javára. Elkobozzák tőlük továbbá a
bűntett elkövetéséért megbízójuktól kapott, összesen 12 ezer
zloty (925,6 ezer forint) értékű pénzösszeget is.
A per során ugyanis a vádlottak azt vallották: pénzt kaptak az
őket felbujtó Manuel Ochsenreiter német újságírótól, aki –
Michal P. állítása szerint – egy berlini találkozó során
átadta az akció végrehajtásáért járó pénzt. Ochsenreiter –
aki az Alternatíva Németországért (AfD) szélsőjobboldali párt
egyik képviselőjének, Markus Frohnmeiernek a munkatársa – az
ügyvédje közvetítésével tagadta ezeket a vádakat.
Adrian M. vallomása szerint a támadás célja „vagyonrongálás” volt, valamint a magyar kisebbség és Ukrajna közötti kapcsolatok megrontása. A vádirat is a magyar–ukrán kapcsolatok megrontását nevezte a provokáció céljának.

A tárgyaláson további 61 ember életfogytiglani börtönbüntetést kapott, 85-en pedig 5-től 15 évig terjedő börtönbüntetést. A halálra ítéltek közt van Hisám al-Asmavi is,az al-Kaidához köthető Anszár al-Iszlám terrorszervezet vezetője,akit a hatóságok az ország legveszélyesebb iszlamista szélsőséges harcosának tartottak. Az ítéletek nem jogerősek.
Február végén több egyiptomi újság arról számolt be, hogy Asmavit már kivégezték, ám később visszavonták ezeket a híreket.
Egyiptomban a szélsőségesek elsősorban a Sínai-félszigeten és a Líbiával határos vidéken aktívak. A Sínai-félszigeten azóta szaporodtak meg a terrorcselekmények, hogy az egyiptomi Muszlim Testvériség mozgalomhoz tartozó, demokratikusan megválasztott Mohamed Murszi államfőt 2013-ban a hadsereg elmozdította a hatalomból.
