Az Ukrán Állami Vámszolgálat Nemzetközi Együttműködési Osztályának közreműködésével a Kárpátaljai Vámhivatal Csempészetellenes és Vámszabálysértési Osztályának illetékesei megakadályozták csaknem 600 tonna napraforgóolaj illegális kivitelét.
A szállító egy 26 éves odesszai vállalkozó, aki 10 vasvagonban szállította volna Magyarországra az árucikket Bátyúnál. Később azonban kiderült, hogy a település, ahová szállította volna, Csehországban található, a magyarországi cég tulajdonosa pedig nem tudott hasonló üzletkötésről.

Egy Ukrajnából külföldre tartó autóban a határőrök egy hegedűt találtak, valószínűleg egy értékes Stradivarit.
A hegedűn Antonius Stradiuarius Cremomentis Faciebad Anno 1728 felirat látható. A krakkói ellenőrzőponton egy Mitsubishi autó csomagtartójában találták meg.
A hegedű Antonio Stradivari olasz mester eredeti hangszere lehet. Ezt a hangszert a hangzás különleges tisztasága jellemzi, és a világon igen nagyra értékelik.
A vámosok lefoglalták a hangszert, hogy bír-e kultúrtörténeti értékkel, azt a vizsgálat fogja megállapítani.

A Kárpátaljai Vámhivatal munkatársai több mint 4000 flakon gyerekeknek készült antivirális szirup illegális behozatalát akadályozták meg, melyről a szállítók azt állították, hogy élelmiszer.
Az eset a csapi ukrán–magyar határátkelőn történt, a járművet egy lembergi férfi vezette. A röntgenvizsgálat során kiderült, hogy a valós szállítmány nem felel meg a dokumentumokban leírtaknak. Összesen 108 doboznyi (4320 flakon) gyógyszert találtak a kamionban.
A szállítmányt lefoglalták, az ügyben eljárás indult.

Vádat emeltek egy kanadai nő ellen, miután becslések szerint 8,4 millió euró értékű metamfetamint találtak poggyászában egy ausztrál repülőtéren.
A rendőrség sajtóközleménye szerint 14,4 kilogramm metamfetamint importált az országba egy 24 éves nő, akinek a nevét nem hozták nyilvánosságra. Ha elítélik, életfogytiglani börtönbüntetésre is számíthat.
A nő poggyászában talált csomagokat metamfetaminra tesztelték, és a tesztek pozitívnak bizonyultak. A közlemény szerint a metamfetamin műanyag fóliában volt, ecettel átitatott törülközőbe csomagolva, és szemes kávéval borították be.

Az ungvári határátkelőn a kárpátaljai vámosok sikeresen megakadályoztak két csempészési kísérletet.
Először egy herszoni férfi hajtott be Skoda Octavia típusú járművével a határátkelő területére, s a zöld folyosót választotta az átkeléshez. Szóban igazolta, hogy nem szállít vámköteles árucikket vagy tárgyakat. Ennek ellenére a gépkocsi átvizsgálása során régiségekre bukkantak, a bőröndben szentképeket csempészett.
A másik hasonló bűncselekményt egy cserkaszi nő követte el, ő szintén ikonokat akart külföldre csempészni.
A régiségeket lefoglalták, az ügyben eljárás indult.

Eredeti Rolex Submariner, Rolex DayDate és Audemars Piguet Royal Oak márkájú órákat szállított sajtá testében egy vietnami nő Oroszországba, összesen 12,5 millió rubel értékben.
Egy 52 éves vietnami állampolgár Dubaiból repült Moszkvába. Annak érdekében, hogy ne fizessen 3,6 millió rubelt adóként, elrejtette az órákban a testében. Így ment végig a zöld folyosón Domogyedovóban.
Amikor a nő áthaladt a fémdetektoron, kiderült, hogy idegen tárgyak vannak nála.
Az órákat lefoglalták, a nő ellen csempészet és vámcsalás bűntette miatt indult eljárás. Akár öt év börtönt is kaphat.
