Egy harmadik férfit, akiről szintén kiderült, hogy ukrán, meggyanúsítottak Keir Starmer brit miniszterelnök házának és autójának a felgyújtása ügyében – számolt be szerdán az rbc.ua hírportál a Reuters brit hírügynökségre hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a 34 éves Petro Pocsinok férfi modell ellen életveszélyt okozó, csoportosan elkövetett gyújtogatás miatt indítottak büntetőeljárás. A gyanúsított ma jelenik meg egy londoni bíróság előtt.
Az ügy további gyanúsítottjai: a 21 éves ukrán Roman Lavrinovics és Sztaniszlav Karpjuk, Ukrajnában született 26 éves román állampolgár.
Május 12-én tűz ütött ki Keir Starmer miniszterelnök londoni lakásában. A rendőrség akkori közlése szerint a balesetben senki sem sérült meg. Arról a házról van szó, ahol Starmer lakott, mielőtt miniszterelnök lett. Négy nappal korábban ugyanazon az utcán felgyújtottak egy autót, amelyet szintén a brit kormányfővel hoztak összefüggésbe. Már másnap, május 13-án a rendőrség őrizetbe vett egy 21 éves férfit, aki Molotov-koktélt dobott az épületre. Később egy második férfit is meggyanúsítottak.
Brit sajtóértesülések szerint a három ukrán férfi Starmer eszkortfiúja volt, de valami miatt összekülönbözött velük.

Újabb gyanúsítottat vettek őrizetbe szombaton a brit miniszterelnök londoni ingatlanainak, illetve volt autójának felgyújtása ügyében – írja az MTI.
A szombat esti rendőrség tájékoztatás szerint a 26 éves férfit a Londontól északra fekvő Luton repülőterén fogták el a Scotland Yard kelet-angliai különleges műveleti egységén belül működő terrorizmusellenes ügyosztály nyomozói.
Az illetőt azzal gyanúsítják, hogy életveszély okozásának szándékával szőtt terveket gyújtogatásos bűncselekmény elkövetésére.
A rendőrségi tájékoztatás sem a gyanúsított nevére, sem állampolgárságára nem tér ki. Ugyanebben az ügyben a Scotland Yard már csütörtökön vádat emelt egy ukrán állampolgár ellen, aki a hatósági gyanú szerint megpróbálta felgyújtani Keir Starmer brit miniszterelnök volt és jelenlegi londoni házát, valamint egykori autóját.
A 21 éves Roman Lavrinovicsot – aki a délkelet-londoni Sydenham városrészben lakik – életveszély okozásának szándékával elkövetett háromrendbeli gyújtogatással vádolják.
A brit kormányfő tulajdonában lévő házban hétfő hajnalban keletkezett tűz. A lángok az észak-londoni Kentish Town városrészben lévő ház bejárati ajtaját rongálták meg.
A tűzoltóság a tüzet húsz perc alatt megfékezte, személyi sérülés nem történt.
A házban jelenleg Starmer feleségének nővére lakik. Keir Starmer az általa vezetett Munkáspárt tavaly nyári választási győzelme óta Nagy-Britannia miniszterelnöke, és jelenleg a Downing Street-i kormányfői rezidencián él feleségével és két gyermekével. A kormányfő Kentish Town-i házánál megkísérelt gyújtogatás előtt egy nappal, vasárnap a közeli Islington kerületben hasonló incidens történt, és ebben az esetben is az érintett ingatlan bejárati ajtaja rongálódott meg. Ez a ház korábban szintén Keir Starmer tulajdonában volt.
A két incidens kivizsgálását a Scotland Yard terrorellenes parancsnokságának nyomozói irányítják, a hivatalos rendőrségi tájékoztatás szerint azért, mert a tüzek egy „magas beosztású közéleti szereplő volt lakóingatlanaiban” történtek. A Scotland Yard által vizsgált harmadik esetben egy autó gyulladt ki múlt csütörtökön, ugyanabban Kentish Town kerületbeli utcában, ahol a miniszterelnök háza is van.
A felgyújtott autó egy 2018-as évjáratú Toyota Rav 4, amely szintén Keir Starmeré volt.
Az autót a kormányfő a tavaly nyári parlamenti választások után eladta egyik szomszédjának.

A lengyel hatóságok vádat emeltek két ukrán állampolgár ellen, akik tavaly májusban felgyújtották a varsói Marywilska bevásárlóközpontot az orosz különleges szolgálatok utasítására – számolt be hétfőn az rbc.ua hírportál a lengyel Nemzeti Ügyészség sajtóosztályára hivatkozva.
Az ügyészség közölte: „A nyomozás során bizonyítékokat szereztünk, amelyek lehetővé teszik számunkra annak megállapítását, hogy a tüzet Oroszország különleges szolgálatainak érdekében eljáró szervezett bűnözői csoport tagjai által elkövetett gyújtogatás okozta.” A bűnüldöző szervek tisztázták, hogy ugyanaz a bűnözői csoport felelős egy IKEA áruház 2024. május 9-i, Vilniusban (Litvánia) történt felgyújtásáért. A bűnözői csoportban két ukrán állampolgár volt – Danylo B. (2006-ban született) és Olekszandr V. (1975-ben született).
Az ügyészség megállapította, hogy Olekszandr Oroszország területén tartózkodott, és utasításokat adott Danilonak. A fiatal ukrán állampolgár május 12-én érkezett a Marywilska bevásárlóközpontba, és filmre vette a tüzet és a mentők munkáját. Ezután elküldte a videót Olekszandernek, hogy orosz propaganda weboldalakon tegye közzé. Danylo B.-t bűnszervezetben való részvétellel, valamint az orosz hírszerzés érdekében elkövetett terrorcselekménnyel vádolták meg.
Vádat emeltek Olekszandr V. ellen is, többek között terrorszervezetben való részvétel és Oroszország Külügyi Hírszerző Szolgálatának javára elkövetett szabotázstevékenységek miatt. Jelenleg Oroszországban tartózkodik, körözik, és egy lengyel bíróság elfogatóparancsot adott ki ellene.
Mint ahogy azt mi is megírtuk, Donald Tusk lengyel miniszterelnök éppen tegnap, május 11-én hangsúlyozta, hogy a Marywilska bevásárlóközpontban tavaly májusban kitört tűz az épület felgyújtása miatt történt. Mint hangsúlyozta, az orosz különleges szolgálatok is érintettek ebben. Elmondása szerint a gyújtogatásban részt vevők közül néhányat már őrizetbe vettek.

A rendőrségen tett beismerő vallomása alapján a gyűlölet vezette azt az amerikai férfit, aki vasárnap hajnalban felgyújtotta Pennsylvania állam kormányzójának rezidenciáját Harrisburgben – derült ki a hétfőn közzétett bírósági iratokból, írja az MTI.
A 38 éves Cody Balmer, aki önmagát adta fel a hatóságoknál, a rendőröknek elmondta, hogy a Josh Shapiro iránt érzett gyűlölet motiválta abban, hogy megtámadja a kormányzói rezidenciát, és tisztában volt azzal, hogy az épületben tartózkodóknak is bántódásuk eshet. A férfi kijelentette, hogy amennyiben szembetalálkozott volna a kormányzóval, a nála lévő kisebb kőtörő kalapáccsal őt is megüti.
Részletesen beszámolt arról, hogy egy fűnyíró tankjából töltött át benzint két sörösüvegbe. Ezekkel felszerelkezve ment a Harrisburg lakónegyedében fekvő rezidenciához, ahol átmászott a két méter magas kerítésen, majd kalapáccsal betört két ablakot, és a palackokat meggyújtva bedobta a helyiségbe. A kormányzói rezidencia egyik szárnya a támadás nyomán teljesen kiégett.
A politikus és családja az épület másik részén aludt a támadás idején, a kiérkező rendőrök kimenekítették őket, amíg a tűzoltók megfékezték a lángokat.
Szombat este a család és vendégei a zsidók egyik vallási ünnepe, a pészah első napját tartották. Josh Shapiro kormányzó, akit a 2028-as elnökválasztás egyik lehetséges demokrata elnökjelölt-aspiránsaként emlegetnek, vasárnap este tartott sajtótájékoztatóján kijelentette, hogy az ilyen típusú erőszak túlságosan gyakorivá vált az amerikai társadalomban, és kijelentette, hogy a hasonló cselekményeknek megálljt kell parancsolni.
A rendőrség közlése szerint a támadást rögzítették a lakóépületen kívül és belül elhelyezett térfigyelő kamerák, amelyek felvételein az elkövető mozgása nyomon követhető. A hatóság megtalálta a támadáshoz használt kalapácsot és a táskát, amelyben a gyújtópalackokat a helyszínre szállította. Cody Balmer ellen várhatóan a többi között gyilkossági kísérlet és terrortámadás miatt emelnek hivatalosan vádat.

A demokrata párti politikust és családját biztonságba helyezték, a történtek során senki sem sérült meg. A tűz helyi idő szerint vasárnapra virradóra tört ki a harrisburgi rezidencián, ahol Shapiro családjával pészah első éjszakáját ünnepelte.
A rendőrség szerint ugyan a nyomozás folyamatban van, „jelen pillanatban azonban azt mondhatják, hogy gyújtogatás történt”.
Shapiro, akit sokan a 2028-as amerikai elnökválasztás lehetséges demokrata párti jelöltjének tartanak, közleményében arról számolt be, hogy nagyjából éjjeli 2 órakor ébredtek fel arra, hogy a rendőrség kopogtatott a rezidencia ajtaján a tűz miatt, amely jelentős károkat okozott az épület egyik szárnyában.
„Hála Istennek senki sem sérült meg és a lángokat eloltották” – közölte Shapiro, aki a rendőrség szerint családjával az épület másik részében lakott.

„Ez egy célzott támadás volt egy Tesla-létesítmény ellen” – mondta Dori Koren, a Las Vegas-i rendőrkapitányság helyettes seriffje keddi sajtótájékoztatóján. Elmondása szerint több segélyhívás is érkezett hajnali 2:45 körül, amelyek tüzet jelentettek a létesítménynél. „A rendőrök több égő járművet találtak, valamint a »Resist« (Ellenállás) szót felfestve az épület bejárati ajtajára” – tette hozzá.
Az Egyesült Államokban több rendőrkapitányság is vizsgálja azokat a támadásokat, amelyek Tesla-bemutatótermek, -töltőállomások és járművek ellen irányultak. A vállalat vezérigazgatója, Elon Musk a kormányzati hatékonysági minisztériumban tölt be egyesek által vitatott szövetségi költségcsökkentési szerepet.
„A Tesla tulajdonát ért erőszakos támadások sora egyértelműen belföldi terrorcselekmény” – mondta Pamela Bondi amerikai igazságügyi miniszter keddi közleményében. Hozzátette, hogy az igazságügyi minisztérium már több elkövetőt is megvádolt ilyen bűncselekményekkel, amelyek hosszú távú, kötelező minimális börtönbüntetést vonhatnak maguk után – írta a CNN.
A múlt héten Bondi bejelentette, hogy vizsgálatot indít, és megígérte, hogy szigorúan fellép a Tesla járművek és -bemutatótermek elleni rongálásokkal szemben.

A megfigyelőkamerák felvételei szerint egy fekete ruháselkövető rálőtt az autókra, majd két járművet Molotov-koktélokkal gyújtott fel – közölte a rendőrség. Egy harmadik járműben egy fel nem robbant Molotov-koktélt is találtak, amelyet most bizonyítékként vizsgálnak.
Személyi sérülés nem történt, a tűzoltók pedig még azelőtt eloltották a lángokat, hogy azok elérhették volna a járművek akkumulátorait.
Március 3-án egy bostoni bevásárlóközpont hét Tesla töltőállomását gyújtották fel. Öt nappal később New Yorkban hat tüntetőt tartóztattak le egy bemutatóterem elfoglalása miatt. Colorado államban egy nőt azzal vádolnak, hogy Molotov-koktélokat dobott és megrongálta a járműveket, valamint egy bemutatótermet.

Több templomban tűz ütött ki szombatra virradóra Új-Zélandon, a rendőrség szerint szándékos gyújtogatás lehet a háttérben – jelentette a Kathpress katolikus hírügynökség.
Négy templom épülete gyulladt ki az éjszaka folyamán Masterton városban, Wellingtontól északra, három további templomban pedig reggel arra utaló jeleket találtak, hogy ott is gyújtogatni próbáltak – adta hírül az MTI.
Helyi sajtójelentések szerint különböző felekezetek templomai érintettek: egy katolikus, egy anglikán, egy baptista és egy szabadegyházi templom gyulladt ki, az épületek egy-egy részén súlyos károk keletkeztek.
Lehetséges elkövetőkről egyelőre nincsenek információk.
Nem ez az első alkalom, hogy vallási épületek esnek gyújtogatás áldozatául Új-Zélendon. Aucklandben 2023 novemberében egy metodista templomban egy éjszaka kétszer is tüzet gyújtottak, tavaly novemberben pedig egy mecsetet ért hasonló támadás.
