A Vörös-tenger partján fekvő Hodeidáért és az azonos nevű tartományért évek óta elkeseredett harcot vívnak a nemzetközileg elismert jemeni kormányhoz hű erők és a húszi lázadók.
A felek egymást vádolták a támadás elkövetésével.
Mohammad Ajjás Kahím, a város húszi kormányzója a lázadók szócsövének számító al-Maszíra televíziónak adott nyilatkozatában sürgette a nemzetközi közösséget, emelje fel a szavát a Hodeidát érő támadások ellen, amelyeket szerinte zsoldosok követnek el.
A hodeidai tűzszünetről a kormányerők és a húszik 2018 decemberében a svédországi Rimbóban folytatott tárgyalások során állapodtak meg, ám a harcok azóta többször kiújultak a környéken.
Jemenben 2014 augusztusa óta dúl polgárháború a kormányellenes síita húszik és a nemzetközileg elismert jemeni elnökhöz, Abed Rabbó Manszúr Hádihoz hű erők között. A lázadók ellen 2015 márciusában lépett hadba a kormánycsapatokat támogató arab koalíció Szaúd-Arábia vezetésével. A polgárháborúban több mint százezren vesztették életüket, milliók váltak földönfutóvá.

Legalább tizennégy fegyveres lelte halálát a szombat este végrehajtott izraeli légicsapásokban – közölte az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) nevű aktivistahálózat vasárnap.
A támadások az Irakkal határos kelet-szíriai Deir-ez-Zór tartományt érték. Az iraki és afgán áldozatok Irán-párti milíciák tagjai voltak – tudatta az OSDH tájékoztatása alapján az MTI.
Izrael több száz légicsapást hajtott végre a szíriai konfliktus 2011-es kirobbanása óta a szíriai kormányerők, illetve a Damaszkuszt támogató Irán és a libanoni Hezbollah szíriai állásai ellen.
Legutóbb szerdára virradó éjjel számoltak be Szíriát ért légicsapásokról, akkor három katona halt meg, egy pedig megsebesült.
A zsidó államot már számos alkalommal vádolták meg a Deir-ez-Zór tartományban végrehajtott támadások miatt, de az OSDH értesüléseit a szíriai állami média, valamint az izraeli hadsereg a legritkább esetekben kommentálja.
Deir-ez-Zór tartományban különösen aktívak a szíriai kormányt támogató külföldi, leginkább iraki és iráni milíciák. Ugyanebben a tartományban jelen van egy kurd és arab fegyveresekből álló szövetség is, amelyet a washingtoni vezetésű nemzetközi koalíció támogat.

Órákkal korábban egy a Gázai övezetből palesztin szélsőségesek által indított rakéta csapódott be Izraelben, a tengerparti Asdod városában, két embert sebesítve meg éppen akkor, amikor a zsidó állam és két öböl menti arab ország Washingtonban aláírta békemegállapodását.
A keddi rakétatámadás nyilvánvaló megtorlásaként az izraeli légierő csapást mért két célpontra, köztük a Gázai övezetet irányító radikális Hamász mozgalom egyik kiképzőbázisára – mondták el szemtanúk.
Az izraeli hadsereg, amely egyelőre nem erősítette meg a légicsapás hírét, annyit közölt, hogy a légvédelmi szirénák a Gázai övezettel szomszédos néhány településen szólaltak meg. Áldozatokról egyelőre a határ egyik oldalán sem számoltak be.
A palesztinok, akik önálló államot szeretnének létrehozni az Izrael által megszállt Ciszjordániában és a Gázai övezetben, ügyük elárulásának tekintik az Egyesült Arab Emírségek, Bahrein, illetve Izrael között amerikai közvetítéssel létrejött békemegállapodást, amelyet a felek kedden írtak alá a washingtoni Fehér Házban.

Az iráni támogatást élvező síita felkelők egészségügyi minisztériuma szerint a jemeni kormányerők oldalán harcoló katonai szövetség egy városi gyűlést bombázott az északi adzs-Dzsauf tartományban. Többen megsebesültek, köztük sok nő és gyermek – tették hozzá a lázadók. A Save the Children nemzetközi segélyszervezet szerint a halottak között heten gyerekek. Xavier Joubert, a szervezet helyi vezetője elmondta, hogy alig egy hónap alatt legalább 17 gyerek vesztette életét bombázásokban. A segélyszervezet az ellenségeskedések azonnali beszüntetését követelte a szegénység sújtotta országban.
Martin Griffiths, az ENSZ jemeni különmegbízottja elítélte a támadást és emlékeztette, a konfliktus szereplőit, hogy a nemzetközi jog kötelezi őket a polgárok és a polgári infrastruktúra megkímélésére. Jemenben 2014 augusztusa óta dúl polgárháború az Irán támogatását élvező húszi síita lázadók, valamint a Szaúd-Arábia és egyéb arab országok által 2015 óta támogatott, a nemzetközileg elismert jemeni elnökhöz – a Rijádban tartózkodó Abed Rabbó Manszúr Hádihoz – hű erők között, és a konfliktusba 2015-ben Szaúd-Arábia szövetségeseivel együtt katonailag is beavatkozott. A jemeni polgárháborúban több mint százezren vesztették életüket, és milliók váltak földönfutóvá. Az országban a világ legsúlyosabb humanitárius válsága alakult ki, amelyen csak tovább ront a koronavírus-járvány.

Izraeli helikopterek légi csapásokat mértek katonai célpontokra a délnyugat-szíriai Kuneitra tartományában, válaszul arra, hogy korábban lövedékek csapódtak be a Golán-fennsíkon Szíria irányából.
„Több célpontra is csapást mértünk, köztük a szíriai hadsereg megfigyelőállásaira” – írták a tájékoztatásban. Arról is beszámoltak, hogy néhány órával korábban robbanásokat észleltek az izraeli ellenőrzés alatt álló Golán-fennsíkon, amelyekben senki nem sebesült meg, de egy épületben és egy járműben károk keletkeztek.
„A szíriai rezsimet tartjuk felelősnek, és választ fogunk adni a szuverenitásunk bármiféle megsértésére” – írta az izraeli hadsereg a Twitteren. A szíriai állami televízió szerint a röviddel éjfél előtt végrehajtott izraeli támadásnak három célpontja és két sebesültje volt.

Egy hasonló tavalyi akció után az iráni támogatású szervezet vezetője súlyos válaszlépéseket helyezett kilátásba arra az esetre, ha még egyszer ilyen történik.
Izrael stratégiai fenyegetésnek tartja a Hezbollah és Irán jelenlétét Szíriában.

Az afgán légierő radikális iszlamista tálibokra mért légicsapásában – az Iránnal határos nyugat-afganisztáni Herát tartományban – legalább 45 ember meghalt, többen közülük civilek.
A lázadók és a kabuli vezetés közötti béketárgyalások beindításán fáradozó Zalmay Khalilzad, az Egyesült Államok afganisztáni különmegbízottja csütörtökön határozottan elítélte az előző nap történteket.
Herátban a felvételek és a szemtanúk beszámolói szerint sok polgári személy, köztük gyerekek is áldozatul estek egy afgán légicsapásnak. Elítéljük a támadást, és támogatunk egy vizsgálatot – írta Twitter-oldalán Khalilzad.
Az Egyesült Államok mindemellett sajnálkozását fejezi ki a szélsőségesek nemrég végrehajtott támadásai miatt – tette hozzá.
Szemtanúk legalább tizennégy civil halottról számoltak be. Ali Ahmad Fakír Jar, a heráti Adraszkán körzet kormányzója legkevesebb nyolc polgári halálos áldozatról tudott.Negyvenöt emberrel végzett a biztonsági erők légicsapása Ham Ziarat régióban, tálibok is vannak a halottak között- mondta Jar.

Kvari Muhammad Juszuf Ahmadi tálib szóvivő elítélte a történteket, és megerősítette, hogy nyolc civil halt meg és tizenketten megsebesültek, a tálibok veszteségeiről ugyanakkor nem szólt.
Hangsúlyozta, hogy a szabadon engedett tálibok elleni erőszak alááshatja a lázadók és az Egyesült Államok közötti februári dohai megállapodását.Az ilyen akciók arra kényszeríthetik a nemrég elengedett foglyokat, akik csak normális életre vágynak, hogy ismét fegyvert ragadjanak az ellenséggel szemben- emelte ki Ahmadi.
Az Afganisztánban állomásozó amerikai haderő szóvivője szerint csapataik nem vettek részt a szélsőségesek elleni légi támadásban.

Hamász célpontokat bombázott az izraeli légierő a Gázai övezetben válaszul az onnan kilőtt rakétákra.
Az izraeli légierő vasárnap este csapást mért a Gázai övezetet irányító radikális iszlamista Hamász célpontjaira, válaszul a palesztin területről korábban kilőtt rakétákra.
„Válaszul az este folyamán Izraelre kilőtt három rakétára légierőnk a Hamász földalatti terrorinfrastruktúrájára mért csapást Gázában” – olvasható az izraeli hadsereg Twitter-bejegyzésében. Hozzátették, hogy a Hamászt tartják felelősnek a rakéták kilövéséért.
Vasárnap légiriadó szirénák hangját lehetett hallani a Gázai övezet határában lévő izraeli településeken.
A hadsereg szerint két rakétát sötétedés előtt lőttek ki, egy harmadikat pedig sötétedés után, az utóbbit az izraeli légvédelem megsemmisítette. Két rakéta viszont lakatlan területen csapódott be – közölte az izraeli tizenkettes televíziós csatorna.
Egyelőre sem a Gázai övezetből, sem Izraelből nem jelentettek áldozatokat.
Izrael 1967-ben foglalta el Egyiptomtól a Gázai övezetet, amelynek határait azóta is szigorúan ellenőrzi. Az utolsó nagyobb konfliktus a térséget uraló Hamásszal 2014-ben volt. Az Egyiptom közvetítésével létrejött tűzszüneti megállapodás ellenére az erőszak időnként fellángol Izrael és a Hamász között.

A szíriai Homsz tartomány keleti részére több rakétát lőtt ki éjszaka az izraeli légvédelem – tudatta az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) kedden.
A SANA szíriai állami hírügynökség jelentése szerint a rakétákat Palmüra (arab nevén Tadmur) fölött az arab ország légvédelme hétfő éjjel megsemmisítette, mielőtt célba értek volna.
Az OSDH szerint a rakéták a tartomány keleti részén lévő Irán-barát fegyveres csoportok állásait célozták. Áldozatokról egyelőre nem érkezett jelentés.
Az elmúlt hónapokban Izrael több hasonló támadást hajtott végre Szíriában állomásozó, Irán támogatását élvező milíciák ellen.
Az izraeli hadsereg nem kommentálta a szíriai célpontok elleni támadás hírét, összhangban azzal a többéves gyakorlattal, amely szerint az ilyen külföldi célpontok elleni műveleteket Izrael nem erősíti meg, és nem is cáfolja.
Biztonsági források szerint az izraeli harci repülőgépek libanoni légtér felől érkeztek.
Teherán és az általa támogatott fegyveres csoportok, elsősorban a libanoni Hezbollah Bassár el-Aszad szíriai kormányfő legfontosabb szövetségesei a 2011 óta tartó szíriai polgárháborúban. A polgárháború kilenc évvel ezelőtti kirobbanása óta Izrael több száz légicsapást hajtott végre a szíriai kormányerők, illetve a damaszkuszi vezetéssel szövetséges iráni erők és a libanoni Hezbollah ellen.

Törökország nem tartóztatja fel tovább az Európába igyekvő szíriai menekülteket az Idlíbben történtek miatt, írja a Jevropejszka Pravda. Ezt egy török magas rangú tisztviselő nyilatkozta a Reuters-nek.
„Eldöntöttük, lényegében azonnali hatállyal, nem tartóztatjuk fel tovább a menekülteket, sem a szárazföldön, sem a tengeren. Minden menekült, beleértve a szíriaiakat is, beutazhatnak az Európai Unióba” – nyilatkozta a tisztviselő, aki nem akarta felfedni kilétét. Hozzátette, hamarosan menekültáradatra számítanak Ildíb tartományból, ezért a török rendőrség, határőrség és a parti őrség azt az utasítást kapta, hogy ne akadályozzák a menekültek szárazföldi valamint tengeri mozgását. Közel egy millió embert költöztettek a török határhoz tavaly decembere óta, amikor az Oroszország által támogatott szíriai kormányerők elfoglalták a Törökország által támogatott szíriai lázadók területeit.
Mint ismeretes, február 28-ára virradóra Bassár el-Aszad szíriai elnök és az orosz hadsereg légicsapácsa következtében a török hadsereg 33 katonája vesztette életét Idlíb tartományban.
Az Idlíb tartomány szomszédságában lévő Hatay város kormányzója, Rahmi Doğan kijelentette, hogy a légicsapásban 39 katona sérült meg, sokak állapota súlyos. A jelentés szerint a légitámadás a török csapatok két oszlopát sújtotta, az előzetes adatok szerint a légicsapásban mind orosz, úgy szíriai repülőgépek vettek részt. Február 27-én még három török katona vesztette életét. Ezzel idén, február eleje óta Idlíbben 50 török katonát öltek meg.
A légitámadás azután következett be, miután az orosz küldöttség kétnapos tárgyalásokat folytatott török tisztviselőkkel Ankarában az Idlíbben kialakult helyzetről. Az Oroszország által támogatott szír erők megpróbálják visszaszerezni Idlíbet a török csapatok által támogatott lázadóktól.
Hulusi Akar, török honvédelmi miniszter Recep Tayyip Erdogan elnökkel folytatott megbeszélése után a török–szír határra utazott. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu török külügyminiszter telefonbeszélgetést folytatott Jens Stoltenberg NATO főtitkárral.
2018. szeptemberében Törökország és Oroszország abban egyeztek meg, hogy Idlíb-t deeszkalációs zónává alakítják, amelyben tilos az agresszió. Erdogan török elnök azt akarja, hogy a szíriai erő vonuljanak vissza, Törökország pedig katonai megfigyelő állomásokat hozna létre. Erdogan korábban támadásokkal is fenyegetőzött, ha a szír erük nem állítják le támadásaikat.

Meghalt huszonkét török katona, sok pedig súlyosan megsebesült egy légicsapásban az északnyugat-szíriai Idlíb tartományban csütörtökön – közölte a délkelet-törökországi Hatay tartomány kormányzója. A támadás után a Reuters brit hírügynökségnek egy magas rangú török tisztségviselő azt mondta, hogy Törökország többé nem állja útját az Európába igyekvő szír menekülteknek.
A Szíriai Emberi Jogok Megfigyelőközpontjának (OSDH) közlése szerint a légicsapásban 34 török katona halt meg, és szíriai, továbbá orosz harci repülőgépek bombázták a Bara és Bilion települések közötti térséget. A kiterjedt helyi aktivistahálózattal rendelkező szervezet úgy tudja, légi- és tüzérségi csapások értek egy török konvojt is a Szarakeb városától délre található Dzsabal az-Zavíjában.
Rahmi Dogan hatayi kormányzó – aki először kilenc halálos áldozatról tett említést – közölte, hogy a sebesülteket törökországi kórházakba szállították, és hogy szerinte a szíriai kormányerők hajthatták végre a bombázást.
Két forrás a Reuters hírügynökséggel azt közölte, hogy Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök összehívta stábját rendkívüli ülésre csütörtök este a támadás miatt. A források szerint a légicsapást a szíriai kormányerők, vagy a velük szövetséges Oroszország légiereje hajthatta végre.
Az Anadolu török hírügynökség tájékoztatása szerint Mevlüt Cavusoglu török külügyminiszter egyeztetett Jens Stoltenberg NATO-főtitkárral az Idlíbben történtekről.
A Reuters brit hírügynökség csütörtökön késő este adta hírül egy névtelenül nyilatkozó magas rangú török tisztségviselőre hivatkozva, hogy Törökország úgy döntött, tovább már nem tartóztatja fel sem tengeren, sem szárazföldön az Európába igyekvő szíriai menekülteket. Az illető elmondása szerint a török rendőrség, parti őrség és határőrség parancsot kapott arra, hogy ne állja útját a szíriai menekülteknek.
A hírügynökség felidézte, hogy a harcok sújtotta északnyugat-szíriai Idlíb tartományból csaknem egymillió szíriai menekül a török határ menti térségbe.
Az elmúlt hetekben kiéleződtek az ellentétek Moszkva és Ankara között az Idlíb tartománybeli feszültségcsökkentési övezetben kialakult helyzet miatt. Törökország polgári célpontok és török megfigyelőállások elleni támadásokkal vádolta a szíriai kormányerőket és szövetségeseit, és azt követelte Damaszkusztól, hogy vonja vissza csapatait. Az orosz fél ezzel kapcsolatban azt állítja, hogy a szíriai hadsereg a militánsok támadására válaszolt. A Rosszija 24 orosz hírtelevízió csütörtöki helyszíni jelentése szerint a militánsok és „török szakértők” orosz és szíriai repülőgépeket igyekeznek megsemmisíteni vállról indítható légvédelmi rakétákkal. A csatorna közölte, hogy az orosz és a szíriai gépek hőcsapdák bevetésével védekeznek.
