Viorel Cernauteanu országos rendőrfőkapitány a sajtótájékoztatóján azt állította: „néhány orosz állampolgárnak 10 ezer dollárt ígértek azért, hogy tömeges zavargást szítsanak Moldova destabilizálása céljából egy fővárosi tüntetésen”. Arról nem beszélt, hogy a hatóságok szerint kik voltak a megbízók. Cernauteanu közlése szerint hét embert őrizetbe vettek az ügyben.
Emellett az ellenzéki megmozduláson 54 tüntetőt állítottak elő, köztük 21 fiatalkorút „gyanús viselkedés”, illetve tiltott tárgyak – egyebek között egy kés – birtoklása miatt – mondta a rendőrfőkapitány.
A rendőrség szerint vasárnap négy pokolgépes fenyegetés is történt az országban, köztük egy olyan, amely a nemzetközi repülőteret érintette. Ezeket is a 2,6 millió lakosú állam destabilizálását célzó akciónak minősítették.
A határőrség szintén vasárnap közölte, hogy a múlt héten 182 külföldinek tiltották meg a beutazást, köztük a Wagner orosz biztonsági magáncég egyik „feltételezett képviselőjének”.

Ismét több ezer oroszpárti tüntető demonstrált kedden Moldovában a nyugatbarát kormány ellen, az állampolgárok téli energiakiadásainak átvállalását és azt követelve, hogy „ne vigyék háborúba az országot”.
A Chisinauban megtartott tiltakozó megmozdulást az oroszbarát Sor Párt szervezte, amelynek hat képviselője van a 101 fős törvényhozásban.
A tüntetők moldovai zászlók alatt vonultak fel, az államfő lemondását követelve. „Maia Sandu mondjon le!”, „Le a diktatúrával” – skandálták.
Az ország minden részéből szállítottak autókon és buszokkal tüntetőket a fővárosba, ahol helyenként közlekedési dugók alakultak ki, miután az esemény biztosítására kirendelt rendőrök ellenőrizték a városba belépő járműveket.
Az orosz érdekek kiszolgálása miatt az amerikai külügyminisztérium szankciós listáján szereplő Ilan Shor szökésben lévő oligarcha, a Sor Párt elnöke a „békés tüntetés akadályozásával” vádolta meg a rendőröket.
Ez két hét alatt már a második Chisinauban tartott kormányellenes megmozdulás, amely miatt fokozódnak az aggodalmak az Ukrajnával szomszédos ország destabilizálását célzó kísérletek miatt.
Február 13-án Maia Sandu azzal vádolta meg Moszkvát, hogy meg akarja buktatni a kormányt, hogy eltérítse a majdani európai uniós csatlakozás útjáról. Oroszország hevesen tagadta a vádakat.
A Sor Párt tüntetéssorozatot kezdeményezett, amely megrengette a június óta uniós tagjelölt országot, amely súlyos energiaproblémákkal küzd, amióta Moszkva drámaian csökkentette a földgázszállításokat.
A moldovai kormány az alkotmánybírósághoz fordult, hogy tiltsa be a Sor Pártot. A korrupcióellenes ügyészség szerint a tiltakozásokat részben orosz pénzből finanszírozzák.
A moldovai Hírszerző és Biztonsági Szolgálat (SIS) előző nap jelentette be, hogy kiutasítottak az országból két külföldi állampolgárt, akik „felforgató akciókat” hajtottak végre Moldova destabilizálására.

A hírt Moldova belügyminisztériuma közölte.
A nyomozócsoport robbanóanyagot talált a rakéta roncsai között. A robbanófej felrobbanásának veszélye miatt megnövelték a biztonsági zónát a becsapódás helyszínén. „Robbanószerkezetet találtak a tegnap lezuhant rakéta törmelékében Larga térségében. Azt tanácsolják az állampolgároknak, hogy ne közelítsék meg azt a biztonsági zónát, ahol robbanószert találták” – közölte a minisztérium.
Ismeretes, hogy a rakétában körülbelül 80 kilogramm robbanóanyagot találtak.

Feltehetően a szombat hajnalban Ukrajnára zúdított orosz rakétákból hullottak le darabok Moldova határain belül, erről számolt be az ország belügyminisztériuma szombat délután a közösségi oldalán. A közlemény szerint a törmeléket az ország északi részén találták meg határőrök.
A moldovai kormány szerint egyértelműen az ukránokra lőtt orosz rakétából származnak a darabok.
Feltehetően egy légvédelmi rakéta által lelőtt szerkezetről van szó. Hasonló eset történt Lengyelországban is, bár ott végül nem találták orosz rakéta nyomát, hanem egy ukrán légvédelmi lövedék csapódott be, két embert megölve.
A mostani becsapódásról egyelőre nem közöltek részleteket, sem Ukrajna, sem Oroszország nem kommentálta egyelőre a hírt.

Lefoglalta a moldovai rendőrség a román digitalizációs hatóság (ADR) elnökének szolgálati autóját arra hivatkozva, hogy a jármű lopottként szerepel a nemzetközi nyilvántartásokban – jelentette szerdán a G4Media.ro hírportál.
Dragos-Cristian Vlad a román távközlési miniszter delegációjának tagjaként utazott a szomszédos országba, ám a határátkeléskor a moldovai rendőrök jelezték, hogy autóját az olasz hatóságok körözik. Az intézményvezetőt továbbengedték, de a hivatalos tárgyalások végeztével a chisinaui román konzulátus értesítette, hogy a gyanús járművet mégiscsak le kell adnia.
Az ADR már a negyedik közintézmény, amely a Romániában 2010 óta többször is forgalomba írt, vélhetően lopott járművet használja.
A korábbi tulajdonosától egy jogerős ítélet révén elkobzott autó 2017-ben került a román adóhatóság (ANAF) tulajdonába, amely ingyenes használatba adta a távközlési minisztériumnak.
A kormány átszervezése nyomán a jármű aztán a közlekedési és távközlési infrastruktúra minisztériumához, 2020-ban pedig a tárca alárendeltségében működő digitalizációs hatósághoz került.
A lopott autóval külföldön gyanúba keveredett román intézményvezető szerint az ilyen kínos eseteket az európai uniós országok különböző adatbázisainak összekapcsolásával lehetne megelőzni. Az interoperabilitás műszaki és jogszabályi feltételeit éppen a Vlad által vezetett ADR-nek kellene kidolgoznia.
