A folytonos felszólítások ellenére, hogy ne zavarják az állatot, Freya, a mintegy 600 kilós fiatal nőstény továbbra is hatalmas tömegeket vonz – magyarázta a norvég Halászati Igazgatóság a közleményében, amelyhez fényképet is csatoltak a bámészkodók tömegével a rozmár közvetlen közelében.

A rozmárok rendszerint az Északi-sarkvidék északabbra fekvő szélességeinél élnek, de Freya, aki a skandináv mitológia szerelem és szépség istennőjéről kapta a nevét, július 17. óta a főváros part menti vizeiben fürdőzik.
A nyári tespedés közepette az emlősállat valóságos sztárrá vált a norvég fővárosban: lefilmezték, amint éppen madarakat kerget, vagy dereglyékre mászik fel szundikálni (egy rozmár akár napi húsz órát is alszik), s eközben jelentős károkat okoz. A rendelkezések ellenére a bámészkodók továbbra is zaklatják az állatot, a közelében fürdenek, vagy túl közel merészkednek hozzá lefotózni, akár gyerekek társaságában is – közölte a Halászati Igazgatóság.
„Egyértelműen romlott az állapota, nem tud eleget pihenni, és a szakértők szerint stresszes állapotban van” – mondta el a szóvivő. A védett fajok között szereplő rozmár elsősorban gerinctelenekkel – kagylókkal, kis és nagyobb rákokkal, valamint kis halakkal – táplálkozik. Általában nem támad emberekre, de a hatóságok szerint, ha veszélyben érzi magát az alkalmatlankodók miatt, akár meg is támadhatja őket – írja az MTI.

Gondokat okoz a norvégiai Kragero kikötőjében egy Freya nevű nőstény rozmár. Az állat rákapott arra, hogy a mólóknál álló kishajókon napfürdőzzön, ami egyben népszerű látványosság is a helyieknek. A csónakok egy része azonban nem bírja el a 700 kilós állatot, és sorozatban süllyednek el alatta.
A hajósok azt a megoldást találták ki, hogy megpróbálják Freyát és úszó platformra csalni, és elszállítják másik partra, ahol kevesebb kárt tesz, vagy legalábbis onnantól mások csónakjait fogja a víz alá nyomni.

A norvég nemzetbiztonsági szolgálat nemrég arról számolt be, hogy az ország legfontosabb webhelyeit és online szolgáltatásait túlterheléses támadások (DDoS) érték, ezért azok elérhetetlenné váltak. A közlemény szerint a támadás mögött feltehetően egy oroszbarát bűnözői csoport áll.
A DDoS-támadás a kibertámadások egy speciális fajtája. Ezek során a kiszemelt szervereknek olyan sok lekérését küldenek, hogy az nem tudja kiszolgálni azt, így pedig elérhetetlenné válik az oldal/szolgáltatás. Az ilyen támadások gyakorlatilag fillérekből kihozhatók, viszont rendkívül kártékonyak lehetnek. Az orosz–ukrán háborúban az oroszbarát és az ukránbarát hackercsoportok is előszeretettel alkalmazzák.
Annak érdekében, hogy a támadások minél kisebb fennakadást okozzanak, a norvég szolgálat egy útmutatót adott ki, amelyben leírják, milyen lépéseket lehet tenni a támadás kivédése érdekében. Bár a közlemény nem írta, hogy mely weboldalakat támadták meg a hackerek, a Legion – Cyber Spetsnaz RF nevű hackercsoport Telegram-csatornáján több célpont nevét is megtalálta a Bleeping Computer. Ezek között szerepel a norvég rendőrség és több más kormányzati szervezet oldala is.

Két ember életét vesztette és legalább másik 21 ember megsérült, amikor egy iráni gyökerekkel rendelkező 42 éves norvég állampolgár szombaton hajnali 1 óra körül lövöldözni kezdett a főváros egyik jól ismert homoszexuálisbárjában és környékén, az utcán és egy másik szórakozóhelynél. A PST norvég titkosszolgálat „extrém iszlamista terrorcselekménynek” nevezte a szombati homoszexuálisfelvonulás előtt történt lövöldözést, és a mérsékeltet jelentő 3-asról a „rendkívüli veszélyt” jelentő 5-ös fokozatra emelte az országban a terrorellenes készültséget. A PST ügyvezető igazgatója, Roger Berg elmondta, hogy a civilek segítségével még az éjszaka elfogott gyanúsított egy „radikalizálódott iszlamista”, aki ráadásul mentális egészségi problémákkal is küszködik. A kisebb súlyú erőszak, drog- és fegyverhasználati bűncselekmények miatt a hatóságok előtt már 2015 óta ismert férfi, aki eddig nem tett vallomást, nyilvánvalóan „páni félelmet akart kelteni a lakosságban” – közölte. A hatóságok tanácsára a szervezők lefújták a szombatra tervezett homoszexuálisfelvonulást, amely az egyhetes Pride rendezvénysorozat csúcspontja lett volna. Az ügy kapcsán Harald norvég király azt mondta, hogy őt és a királyi családot megdöbbentette a támadás. „Össze kell fognunk és meg kell védenünk értékeinket: a szabadságot, a sokszínűséget és az egymás iránti tiszteletet” – mondta a 85 éves uralkodó. Íjjal elkövetett támadás történt szerda este a dél-norvégiai Kongsberg kisvárosában, többen meghaltak és megsebesültek, egy gyanúsítottat őrizetbe vettek – közölte a norvég rendőrség.
A Dailymail közlése szerint legalább négy halálos áldozata van a támadásnak.
„A férfit elfogták, a rendelkezésre álló információink szerint egyedül cselekedett” – ismertette Öyvind Aas rendőrfőnök. „Többen életüket vesztették, illetve megsebesültek” – tette hozzá, de nem említette az áldozatok pontos számát.

A rendőrség egyelőre nem közölt semmilyen információt az elkövető személyéről, sem lehetséges indítékáról. Nem lehet tudni egyelőre, hogy terrortámadás történt-e. Az elkövető az Oslótól mintegy 80 kilométerre, délre található Kongsberg belvárosában követte el a vérengzést.
Aas szerint jelenleg még folyik az információk kiértékelése és a különböző helyeken a bűnügyi helyszínelés. Úgy fogalmazott, hogy még zavaros a helyzet. „Sok szemtanúnk van még, akikkel beszélnünk kell” – tette hozzá.
Norvég sajtójelentések szerint a rendőrség nagy erőkkel vonult ki Kongsberg belvárosában, amely felett rendőrségi helikopterek köröztek. Úgy tudni, tűzszerészeket is mozgósítottak.
A norvég közszolgálati rádió tájékoztatása szerint az első lakossági bejelentések 18.13-kor futottak be a rendőrséghez, miszerint egy íjjal és nyilakkal felfegyverzett férfit láttak a városközpontban.

A BBC információi szerint a gyanúsított a jelentések szerint az egész városban mozgott, és a hatóságok több nagy területet lezártak. Médiajelentések szerint a támadó egy szupermarketben kezdte az ámokfutást.
A jelentések szerint több tucatnyi mentőautó van a helyszínen.

A támadásnak a Microsoft Exchange-szoftverhez köthető hibához volt köze – közölte a törvényhozás. Azt nem tudják, hogy ki áll a támadás mögött – tették hozzá.

Svédország próbálja elkerülni, hogy a koronavírus fertőzőbb, brit variánsa bejusson az országba, ezért legalább február közepéig lezárja Norvégiával közös, 1630 kilométer hosszú határszakaszát, de nem fogad belépőket Dánia és az Egyesült Királyság felől sem.
Norvégia, Dánia és Finnország tavaly zárta le a Svédországgal közös határait, miközben kormányaik éles kritikákkal illetve az általuk felelőtlennek tartott svéd járványkezelési modellt, melynek lényege 2020-ban a lezárások és kijárási tilalmak elkerülése, és a nyájimmunitásra törekvés voltak. Svéd politikusok akkoriban elítélték ezeket a lezárásokat, mondván, az intézkedések az északi országok közti hagyományosan jó együttműködést veszélyeztetik. Emellett persze 2020 második felére már több svéd vezető is bírálta a svéd járványkezelést, elsősorban a halálos áldozatok viszonylagosan is nagy száma miatt.
Most a brit variáns miatt Dániában és Norvégia fővárosi régiójában is lezárást rendeltek el. Oslóban és kilenc agglomerációs településen minden boltnak be kell zárnia az élelmiszerboltok, a benzinkutak és a gyógyszertárak kivételével. Az iskolákban és óvodákban a legmagasabb, vörös riasztást rendelte ez a norvég kormány, ami az együtt lévő csoportok létszámának csökkentését jelenti, valamint jogot ad az önkormányzatoknak, hogy ha úgy látják, bezárhassák az intézményeket.
A norvég kormányfő újságíróknak nyilatkozva azt mondta, „nincs panasza” a svéd határzárral kapcsolatban, és kiemelte, hogy azok a norvégok, akik Svédországban dolgoznak, árut szállítanak vagy halaszthatatlan családi ügyet intéznek, továbbra is beléphetnek majd Svédországba.
Norvégiának egyelőre nem kellett nagy áldozatokat elkönyvelnie a koronavírus-járványban, a többi európai országhoz viszonyítva a fertőzöttek és a halottak száma is alacsony. Elemzők szerint ennek legfőbb oka az alacsony népsűrűség mellett az, hogy a kormány határozottan lépett fel, és minden esetben gyorsan reagált, amikor újabb járványügyi intézkedéseket kellett bevezetni. Tulajdonképpen most is ezt csinálják, az új variánst még csak két halottban mutatták ki, mégis lezárják a legnépesebb városukat.
