Близько 20 людей зникли безвісти в Китаї через проливні дощі і повені, повідомила у вівторок місцева влада і ЗМІ, в той час як на півночі і в центральних регіонах країни спостерігається безпрецедентна спека.
Чотири людини вважаються зниклими безвісти в північно-західному регіоні Сіньцзян в провінції Чанцзян через зсуви ґрунту, в той час як кілька автомагістралей були затоплені проливними дощами.
У місті Мейчсу в південній провінції Гуантун зсуви, спричинені дощем у понеділок увечері, призвели до загибелі п’ятьох людей і зникнення 15 осіб. Державний телеканал CCTV показав змиті автомобілі і людей у гумових чоботях, котрі намагаються зібрати цінні речі із затоплених будинків, уламки яких плавають у воді. У постраждалих від повені районах рятувальні команди використовували гумові човни, намагаючись витягнути людей із води.
Про інші повені та зливи повідомляли китайські ЗМІ з південної провінції Фуцзянь, де постраждало понад півмільйона людей, а також із південної провінції Гуансі і центральної провінції Хунань.
Тим часом північні райони Китаю потерпають від найвищих температур, зафіксованих із початку року: у вівторок синоптики прогнозують 39 градусів за Цельсієм у Пекіні, а також у Тяньцзіні та Хоупджі, що поблизу столиці, і влада розробила план дій для центральної та східної частин країни і семи північних провінцій, щоб підготуватися до надзвичайного явища – рекордної посухи.

Повінь, спричинена значними опадами, яка забрала життя п’ятьох людей у Німеччині на вихідних, дісталася й Австрії.
В Австрії перекрили весь Дунай після виходу річки з берегів у Лінці, третьому за величиною місті країни.
Річку перекрили для судноплавства по всій довжині.
Відповідне рішення прийняли після того, як повінь призвела до загибелі п’яти людей на півдні Німеччини.
Поліція підтвердила, що вони знайшли тіло жінки, авто якої знесла вода у Баварії.
Водійка проігнорувала знаки заборони в’їзду на затоплену дорогу та з’їхала в поле. Тіло жінки згодом знайшли в місті Маркт-Реттенбах.
Тіла ще чотирьох загиблих були виявлені у неділю та понеділок, з них три – у підвалі.
22-річний пожежник загинув під час рятувальних робіт.
Метеоролігічна служба Німеччини повідомила, що у вівторок припинився дощ, який кілька днів тривав на півдні Німеччини. Проте рівень води залишається високим.
Маркус Зьодер, прем’єр-міністр Баварії заявив, що місцевий уряд виділить на фінансову допомогу постраждалим щонайменше 100 мільйонів євро.
Канцлер Німеччини Олаф Шольц у вівторок відвідав постраждалі регіони і заявив, що бере участь у подібній місії вчетверте цього року.
Він запевнив, що уряд Німеччини «зробить усе на федеральному рівні для надання швидкої допомоги».

Злива спричинила затоплення вулиць, підвалів та зсуви ґрунту в землях Саарланд та Рейнланд-Пфальц.
Сильний дощ спричив у німецькій землі Саарланд у п’ятницю затоплення вулиць, підвалів та зсуви ґрунту. Ситуаційний центр в Саарбрюккені – столиці землі – нарахував понад 3000 виїздів на виклики поліцейських і рятувальників. Про це повідомило німецьке видання Spiegel.
У багатьох муніципалітетах через підвищення рівня води довелося евакуювати людей. Населення закликали уникати підвалів, водойм і затоплених територій.
За даними Державного відомства з охорони навколишнього середовища та безпеки праці, виникла рідкісна повінь, яка трапляється раз на 20-50 років.
Німецька метеорологічна служба рано вранці в суботу скасувала всі попередження про несприятливі погодні умови в Німеччині, але ніч на суботу майже вся федеральна земля все ще боролася з потоками води.
В мережі поширилися зображення із затопленими автівками та численними затопленими вулицями.
Канцлер Олаф Шольц хоче проаналізувати ситуацію в суботу разом з главою землі Анке Релінгер, що назвала ситуацію в федеральній землі „дуже напруженою”.
У сусідній федеральній землі Рейнланд-Пфальц підвали та вулиці також були затоплені, а дерева – повалені.
Точні масштаби збитків внаслідок повені поки що незрозумілі.

Як повідомляється, рятувальні операції в постраждалому регіоні тривають, а влада тим часом почала підраховувати вартість збитків.
Найближчими днями прогнозується збільшення кількості дощів. Це викликає побоювання, адже рівень води ще більше підвищиться в затоплених містах, де й так уже все у воді.
Як повідомляється, 136 осіб вважаються зниклими безвісти, а понад 165 000 мешканців були змушені покинути затоплені будинки.
Повінь зруйнувала інфраструктуру і мости, заблокувавши доступ до міста Порту-Алегрі, де полиці супермаркетів спорожніли, а ночами стали відбуватися грабежі.
Початкові розрахунки показують, що знадобиться не менше 19 мільярдів реалів (3,68 мільярда доларів) для відновлення від стихії.

На півдні Бразилії сталася найпотужніша повінь за останні 80 років. Жертвами стихії у штаті Ріу-Гранді-ду-Сул стали щонайменше 57 людей, ще 67 вважаються зниклими безвісти.

Шторми вразили майже дві третини з 497 міст штату, який межує з Уругваєм і Аргентиною. Через стихію понад 32 тисячі людей були змушені покинути свої домівки.
Губернатор штату Едуардо Лейте попередив, що кількість загиблих і постраждалих може зрости, оскільки доступ удалося дістати не до всіх територій, які постраждали через негоду.
Також відомо, що увечері в п’ятницю, 3 травня, у місті Порту-Алегрі – столиці штату – прорвало один із шлюзів озера Патус, під загрозою затоплення опинилися північні райони міста. Мер міста Себастьян Мелу закликав населення нормувати воду, попередивши, що із шести водоочисних споруд працює лише дві.
Крім того, із місцевої в’язниці довелося евакуювати понад 1 тисячу ув’язнених. Також повідомляється, що міжнародний аеропорт у місті призупинив усі рейси на невизначений період.
У найближчу добу очікуються дощі в північних і північно-східних регіонах штату, але кількість опадів зменшується.
Як повідомляє Бразильська геологічна служба, ця повінь – найсильніша за понад 80 років. Рівень води в деяких містах був найвищим за весь час спостережень (понад 150 років). Від стихії вже постраждали 350 тисяч осіб, затоплено понад 260 муніципалітетів.

У Китаї сильні дощі, які вирували кілька днів, спричинили масштабну повінь. Стихійне лихо сталося у провінції Гуандун, пише ВВС.
У державних ЗМІ Китаю вже повідомляли, що чотири людини загинули, а 10 зникли безвісти. Відомо, що кілька великих річок вийшли з берегів, і влада уважно стежить за „небезпечно високим” рівнем води.
Повінь сталася у найбільш густонаселеній провінції Китаю – там проживає близько 127 мільйонів людей. Найбільше постраждали від стихії столиця провінції Гуанчжоу, а також менші міста Шаогуань і Хеюань.
За даними китайського інформаційного агентства Xinhua, щонайменше 110 000 людей були евакуйовані, близько 25 800 перебувають у притулках.
Через постійні зливи у міжнародному аеропорту Байюнь у Гуанчжоу скасовано та затримано рейси. Щонайменше у трьох містах закрито школи, десятки будників зруйновані чи пошкоджені. За оцінками влади, прямі економічні втрати становлять майже 140,6 млн юанів (19,8 млн доларів).
Метеорологічні служби Китаю попередили, що сильні дощі триватимуть у Гуандуні та прибережних районах сусіднього Фуцзяня принаймні до вівторка. В інших частинах країни, включно зі столицею – Пекіном – очікується „помірний або сильний” дощ.

Сильні дощі спостерігаються в частині регіону Перської затоки, унаслідок чого в Омані загинуло щонайменше 18 людей.
У зв’язку з негодою в кількох провінціях зробили вихідний день або перейшли на дистанційну роботу. Уряд закликав громадян бути обачними й рятуватися у випадку небезпеки.
В Омані щонайменше десятеро загиблих були школярами, їхній транспортний засіб змила раптова повінь у Самад-А’Шані. Чотирьох дітей і водія автобуса вдалося врятувати. За даними управління з питань надзвичайних ситуацій, рятувальні групи продовжують пошуки двох зниклих безвісти.
У найбільш постраждалу провінцію Еш-Шаркія для допомоги в евакуації населення із затоплених районів прибули поліція та військові.
Повені виникли і в Об’єднаних Арабських Еміратах
У вівторок сильні дощі почались і в сусідніх Об’єднаних Арабських Еміратах. Там було затоплено частину основних автомагістралей.
У Дубаї на дорогах багато покинутих автомобілів. Сильний вітер порушив також роботу місцевого аеропорту.
По всій країні закрили більшість шкіл. Влада скерувала на вулиці та шосе автоцистерни, щоб відкачувати воду.
За даними ЗМІ, уранці в Дубаї випало понад 30 мм опадів, а протягом дня ще до 130 мм.

Щонайменше одна людина загинула, ще кілька отримали травми внаслідок шторму, що пронісся південними штатами США. Десятеро людей були доставлені в лікарню після торнадо в Луїзіані. Техас також постраждав від торнадо, а ціле село в східній частині штату стало недоступним через раптові повені.
Надзвичайно сильні шторми пронеслися найпівденнішим штатом США.
Пошкоджено багато будівель, понад сто тисяч людей залишилися без електропостачання.
Ще серйознішою проблемою стала повінь у східній частині штату. Метеорологічна служба видала попередження про грозу, сильний град і руйнівний вітер у Техасі. Затопило кілька населених пунктів, багатьох людей довелося рятувати із затоплених осель. Кілька ділянок доріг перекрили.
Подібна ситуація трапилася і в Луїзіані, яка одночасно постраждала і від сильного вітру, і від повеней. Штатом пронеслися два торнадо.
Кілька будинків обрушилися, значної шкоди завдали повалені дерева та обірвані лінії електропередач.
У школах через повені призупинено навчання. В одному з населених пунктів тільки за одну годину випало 30 сантиметрів опадів. Багатьох людей доставили в лікарню.
Негода пронеслася і по інших штатах.
У Міссісіпі, де негода триває кілька днів, пошкоджено понад 70 будівель, одна людина загинула.
Влада попередила також про імовірність повеней.
За даними метеорологічної служби, негода ще триватиме, оскільки фронт просувається на північ, де також очікуються шторми.
