Összecsapott a koszovói rendőrség szerdán a koszovói Mitrovicában (Kosovska Mitrovica) azokkal a koszovói szerbekkel, akik egy csempészetellenes akciósorozat ellen tüntettek Észak-Koszovó több településén – közölte a pristinai és a szerbiai sajtó.
A koszovói rendőrség egy razziája során szerdán több élelmiszerüzletet és gyógyszertárat is átvizsgáltak, csempészárut keresve. A rendőrségi akcióra a helyi szerbek tettlegességgel reagáltak, kövekkel dobálták meg a rendőröket, és járművekkel torlaszolták el az utakat.
A helyszínre érkezett a koszovói rendőrség különleges alakulata (Rosu), amely könnygázgrátánokkal igyekezett oszlatni a tömeget, később pedig lövéseket is leadtak, a helyszíni jelentések szerint egy férfi súlyosan meg is sebesült.
Az összecsapások hírének hallatán Aleksandar Vucic szerb elnök lemondta szerdai programjait, és délután Koszovóban találkozik a helyi szerbek vezetőivel. Ana Brnabic miniszterelnök pedig a nemzetközi közösséget kérte arra, hogy lépjen közbe, és fogja vissza a túlkapásokra vetemedett Albin Kurti koszovói miniszterelnököt. „A helyzet több mint drámai, és ez egy utolsó pillanat, amikor egyértelmű reakcióra van szükség, hogy megállítsák Pristina őrült politikáját” – hangsúlyozta a szerb kormányfő.
Petar Petkovic, a szerb kormány Koszovó-ügyi irodájának a vezetője rendkívüli sajtótájékoztatóján azokat a képeket is megmutatta, amelyeket a koszovói különleges rendőri alakulat készített az elkobzott csempészáruról. A szerb politikus szerint néhány tábla csokoládé és pár palack üdítő miatt nem kellett volna a különleges rendőrséget és a páncélos járműveket ráküldeni a szerbekre.
Koszovó 2008-ban egyoldalúan kiáltotta ki függetlenségét Szerbiától, de Belgrád ezt azóta sem hajlandó elismerni, és továbbra is saját, déli tartományának tartja a többségében albánok lakta területet. Koszovó északi részén több mint 50 ezres szerb kisebbség él, amely szintén nem ismeri el a koszovói kormányt, így szerbiai dokumentumokkal rendelkezik, amelyeket egyre kevésbé fogadnak el a koszovói hatóságok.
Szeptember végén is hasonlóan feszült volt a helyzet a két fél között. A koszovói szerbek majdnem két hétig akadályozták a határátkelést Szerbia és Koszovó között, mert igazságtalannak tartották, hogy a szerb rendszámtáblával rendelkezőknek az országba lépéskor ideiglenes koszovói táblára kellett váltaniuk. A koszovói fél azzal indokolta a rendelkezést, hogy a brüsszeli közvetítéssel zajló szerb-koszovói megállapodás egyik pontja a rendszámtáblák elismerésének kölcsönössége volt, és mivel Szerbia évek óta ideiglenes szerb tábla használatára kötelezi a koszovói rendszámtáblával az országba lépőket, Koszovónak nem maradt más választása, mint hasonló intézkedéseket foganatosítani. A helyzet odáig fajult, hogy a koszovói részen a Rosu, a határ szerb oldalán pedig már a katonaság várta az utasításokat, amikor brüsszeli közvetítéssel sikerült megoldást találni a problémára.

Ismét tízezrek tiltakoztak szombaton Franciaország-szerte a koronavírus-járvány miatt bevezetett védettségi igazolás használata ellen.
Ez volt az egymást követő hetedik hétvége, amikor a védettségi igazolás használatát szabadságjogi okokból ellenzőkön kívül a védőoltást ellenzők, vírustagadók és olyan radikális pártok hívei is utcára vonultak, akik Emmanuel Macron államfő személyét és politikáját bírálják, de a részvétel az elmúlt három hétben már csökkenő tendenciát mutatott.
A belügyminisztérium összesítése szerint a több mint kétszáz felvonuláson az ország különböző városaiban 160 ezren vettek részt, ebből Párizsban 14 500-an tiltakoztak négy külön csoportban. A múlt hétvégén a rendőrség adatai szerint 175 ezren voltak az utcákon. A szervezők ezzel szemben most szombaton mintegy 320 ezer, egy héttel ezelőtt 357 ezer résztvevőt számoltak össze.
A fővároson kívül elsősorban a déli városokban, Montpellier-ben, Toulouse-ban, Marseille-ben, Annecy-ban, valamint a keleti Mulhouse-ban voltak nagyobb megmozdulások. A felvonulások jelentős része incidens nélkül ért véget, csak néhány helyen kellett könnygázzal oszlatni a tömeget a menet végén.
A koronavírussal szembeni védettséget igazoló dokumentumot (oltási igazolás vagy a 72 óránál nem régebbi negatív teszt) a jelenleg hatályos törvények szerint augusztus 9. óta és november 15-ig kötelező bemutatni a legalább ötven főt fogadó nyilvános helyeken, így a vendéglátóhelyeken, beleértve a teraszokat is, a vonatokat és a távolsági buszokat, a kórházakat, a bevásárlóközpontokat, valamint a kulturális intézményeket, mozikat, színházakat, koncerttermeket.
Olivier Véran egészségügyi miniszter csütörtökön úgy vélte, hogy a javuló járványügyi mutatók ellenére a védettségi igazolás használatát valószínűleg november 15. után is meghosszabbítja a kormány, amennyiben a „Covid nem tűnik el az életünkből”. A tárcavezető egyébként úgy vélte, hogy „az igazolás sikerét látva egyre inkább csökken a tartózkodók száma”, mert a „hatékony szűrési rendszernek és a tömeges oltásnak köszönhetően, a nagyon fertőző variáns miatti járványhullám ellenére sem volt lezárás nyáron”.
Az elmúlt héten már csökkenő tendenciát mutattak a napi esetszámok, már nem emelkedtek 20 ezer fölé, miközben augusztus közepén megközelítették a 30 ezret. Kórházban jelenleg 11 ezer fertőzöttet ápolnak, közülük kétezren vannak intenzív osztályon, de a fertőzőbb delta variáns okozta negyedik hullámban harmadannyi fertőzött szorult kórházi ellátásra, mint a tavaly tavaszi első hullám idején. A fertőzés szövődményeiben eddig több mint 114 ezren vesztették életüket Franciaországban.
A védettségi igazolás bevezetésével párhuzamosan az oltási hajlandóság is erősödött a francia társadalomban, eddig a teljes lakosság 74 százaléka, a felnőttek 86 százaléka megkapta a koronavírus elleni oltás első adagját, a teljes lakosság 64 százaléka, a felnőttek 77 százaléka pedig már mindkét dózist.

Az országban egyetlen tartományban, a Kabultól északra eső Pandzsirban nem tudták átvenni eddig az uralmat a tálibok. Ottani videófelvételek tanúsága szerint potenciális ellenzéki aktivisták gyülekeznek abban a térségben.
Köztük van a hatalomból elűzött afgán kormány több tagja is, Amrulla Száleh volt első alelnök, aki kedden a Twitteren saját magát az ország legitim ügyvivő elnökének nevezte, illetve Biszmilla Mohammadi védelmi miniszter és Ahmad Maszúd, a korábban a tálibok ellen harcoló – 2001-ben meggyilkolt – Ahmad Sah Maszúd, az Északi Szövetség egykori vezetőjének a fia.
Egyelőre nem világos, hogy ők készülnek-e arra, hogy szembeszálljanak az ország túlnyomó részét néhány nap alatt elfoglaló tálib mozgalommal.
Pandzsir tartomány volt az Egyesült Államokkal 2001-ben a tálibokkal szemben szövetkező Északi Szövetség fellegvára. A tálibok – hírügynökségi jelentések szerint – azon dolgoznak, hogy „inkluzív, iszlám kormányt” hozzanak létre.
Tárgyalásokat folytatnak Hamid Karzai volt afgán elnökkel és Abdulla Abdulla volt külügyminiszterrel, a korábbi nemzeti megbékélési tanács vezetőjével. Karzai és Abdulla szerdán Anász Hakkánival, a tálib mozgalmon belül működő nagy hatalmú Hakkáni-hálózat egyik magas rangú tagjával tanácskozik.
„Amnesztiát és békés átmenetet ígértek a tálibok Afganisztánban” – ezt mondta legalábbis az iszlamista szervezet szóvivője első nemzetközi sajtótájékoztatóján kedden.

Az államfő kérte a kongresszust, hogy a pénzügyi bizonytalanság elkerülése végett sürgősen fogadjon el egy új, konszenzuson alapuló adócsomagot.
A kabinet a koronavírus-járvány miatt keletkezett költségvetési hiány csökkentése érdekében kényszerül átalakítani az adórendszert. Claudia López bogotái polgármester a Twitteren azt írta, hogy „brutális” mértékben fokozódott az erőszak, harminc civil és tizenhat rendőr megsérült a demonstrációkon. „A pusztítás azt jelenti, hogy kevesebb busz fog közlekedni” – figyelmeztetett a polgármester.
Az El Espectador című lap arról tudósított, hogy a tüntetők mintegy 25 rendőrőrsöt támadtak meg, többet felgyújtottak. A rendőrség vasárnap reggeli előzetes összesítése szerint az előző este történt összetűzésekben legalább harminc rendőr megsebesült. A kövekkel, palackokkal dobáló és kukákat borogató, gyújtogató tüntetők közül 240-et vettek őrizetbe.
A német fővárosban május 1-jén húsznál is több gyűlést, tüntetést rendeztek. A megmozdulásokon nagyjából harmincezren vettek részt. A nap közben tartott demonstrációkon nem volt nagyobb rendbontás, és a résztvevők a koronavírus-járvány miatti fertőzéshigiéniai szabályokat (maszkviselés, távolságtartás) is betartották.

Először szerdán szólították az utcára az embereket a szakszervezetek az ellen tiltakozva, hogy a kormány az adórendszer átalakításával közszolgáltatásokra és bizonyos élelmiszerekre is forgalmi adót vetne ki. Caliban voltak a legerőszakosabbak a megmozdulások. Rendbontók fosztogattak és buszokat is felgyújtottak. Carlos Camargo, Kolumbia emberi jogi ombudsmanja arról számolt be, hogy Caliban legalább hárman meghaltak, további három halálesetet pedig vizsgálnak. Bogotában és Neivában is volt egy-egy halálos áldozat. A tiltakozásokon emellett 176 civil és 216 rendőr megsérült.

Szombaton annak ellenére vonultak utcára a tiltakozók, hogy pénteken az elnök bejelentette, hogy az élelmiszerek és a rezsiköltségek megadóztatásától eláll a kormány és a jövedelemadót sem emelik. De a kabinet kitart amellett, hogy adóreformra van szükség, hogy az ország stabilizálni tudja pénzügyeit, megtartsa jelenlegi adósbesorolását, és fenntartsa a szociális juttatások szintjét.
