Станом на 9:00 за Грінвічем 4763 людей було евакуйовано по всій країні, за даними Міністерства внутрішніх справ та безпеки, в суботу вранці вода переповнила греблю в провінції Північний Чхунчхон.
За даними провінційної влади, накази місцевих органів влади про евакуацію в різний час стосувалися понад 7000 осіб.

За даними державних медіа КНДР, ракета Chollima-1 вийшла з ладу через нестабільність двигуна та паливної системи.
Через запуск півночнокорейського супутника в деяких частинах Південної Кореї та Японії пролунали екстрені оповіщення та короткі попередження про евакуацію.
Обʼєднаний комітет начальників штабів Південної Кореї заявив, що військові виявили те, що ймовірно є частинами ракети-носія КНДР. Вони показали фото уламків, зокрема, великого циліндричного предмета, привʼязаного до буя.
Професор Центру досліджень проблем нерозповсюдження та консультант з ракет Джордж Вільям Герберт сказав, що на фото зображена частина ракети з міжступеневою секцією, призначеною для зʼєднання з іншим ступенем.
На думку Герберта, це ракета на рідкому паливі, а круглий коричневий предмет всередині, ймовірно, бак для палива або окислювача.
Посадовці США, Японії та Південної Кореї провели телефонну розмову і рішуче засудили запуск супутника-шпигуна КНДР, повідомили в МЗС Японії.
Національне управління аерокосмічного розвитку Пхеньяну (NADA) розслідує інцидент і планує якнайшвидше запустити супутник вдруге.

У Південній Кореї пасажир авіакомпанії Asiana Airlines прямо під час польоту відкрив двері літака.
Офіційний представник авіакомпанії розповів, що 30-річний чоловік, який сидів біля дверей аварійного виходу, відкрив їх, коли літак був на висоті близько 213 м над землею, заходячи вже на посадку. Це викликало паніку серед пасажирів, повідомили офіційні особи, передає Reuters.
Літак Airbus A321-200 після інциденту благополучно приземлився.
За даними Asiana Airlines, на борту перебували 200 осіб, 12 з них після інциденту знадобилася допомога лікарів через брак повітря. 9 постраждалих були госпіталізовані.
„Я думав, що літак ось-ось вибухне… було схоже, що пасажири поруч з відкритими дверима втрачали свідомість”, – сказав один з пасажирів.
Представник міністерства транспорту країни повідомив агентству Reuters, що влада з’ясовує, чи дотримувалися Asiana Airlines протоколи управління аварійними виходами.
„Це особливо небезпечно при посадці і зльоті, тому хтось із персоналу на борту повинен був зупинити цього пасажира”, – сказав Сон Мен Хван, професор кафедри технічного обслуговування авіації університету Сехан в Південній Кореї.

Південнокорейське оборонне агентство з технологій та якості успішно провело сертифікаційні випробування вітчизняної ракети. Вона називається „Korean Tactical Surface-to-Surface Missile” (KTSSM).

Тести пройшли цього тижня на об’єкті, який належить Агентству оборонного розвитку. У ньому брали участь фахівці компанії-виробника Hanwha Aerospace, представники адміністрації програми оборонних закупівель та південнокорейські військові.
KTSSM – це ракета класу „поверхня-поверхня”. Вона має калібр 400 мм і може вражати цілі на відстані до 180 км. Насамперед вона призначена для завдавання ударів по артилерійських установках противника, а також по укріпленнях та іншій техніці.
Глава адміністрації програми оборонних закупівель Чан Бон Гі після тесту заявив, що KTSSM є найкращою високоточною керованою зброєю в Південній Кореї. Успішні сертифікаційні випробування дають змогу розпочати запуск повномасштабного серійного виробництва.

Вогонь швидко поширився на житлові райони міста Каннин через поривчастий вітер. Наразі відомо про одного загиблого.
Щонайменше одна людина загинула та 12 постраждали внаслідок сильної лісової пожежі в районі південнокорейського міста Каннин. Про це 11 квітня повідомило агентство Yonhap.
Зазначається, що пожежа виникла вранці у вівторок і наразі знищила близько 70 будинків та будівель. Вигорів лісовий масив площею 379 га, що еквівалентно 530 футбольним полям.
За даними правоохоронців, чоловіка у віці 80 років було знайдено мертвим у будинку, який постраждав від вогню. Ще 12 людей отримали поранення.
Місцева влада вважає, що спалах стався через сосну, що впала від вітру, яка зачепила лінію електропередачі. Як наголосили пожежники, вогонь швидко поширився на житлові райони міста.
Понад 500 місцевих мешканців та приблизно 700 туристів евакуювалися із зони лиха.
До ліквідації пожежі залучили 2764 рятувальників, 396 пожежних машин та три вертольоти.

Минулого року блокчейн-компанія До Квона збанкрутувала, криптовалюти компанії, terraf і luna, втратили свою вартість, і в результаті інвестори втратили понад 40 мільярдів доларів.
Відтоді чоловік зник. Він перебуває в червоному списку Інтерполу, його також розшукують у Південній Кореї, США та Сінгапурі за підозрою у фінансових та податкових махінаціях.

У Південній Кореї у місті Квачхон, на південь від Сеула, сталася масштабна пожежа у тунелі на автомагістралі.
Видання Yonhap повідомило, що пожежа спалахнула після ДТП, що сталося о 13:49 за місцевим часом (6:49 за Києвом) на автомагістралі, що з’єднує західне портове місто Інчхон із містом Соннам.
Зіткнення вантажівки та автобуса спричинило спалах пожежі. Вогонь швидко перекинувся на шумоізоляційний тунель.
В результаті інциденту загинули щонайменше п’ятеро людей та ще 37 отримали поранення, троє з них у тяжкому стані.
На місце інциденту було направлено 219 рятувальників та близько 94 пожежних машин. Також для ліквідації пожежі направили гелікоптери. Наразі встановлюються обставини та причини пожежі.
Влада заявила, що внаслідок пожежі знищено 45 автомобілів.
Президент Південної Кореї Юн Сук Йоль доручив уряду ретельно обстежити місце аварії, щоб переконатися у відсутності більшої кількості постраждалих і надати повну медичну допомогу тим, кого вдалося врятувати.
Також, за повідомленнями влади, кількість загиблих може зрости залежно від результатів рятувальної операції.

Збройні сили Південної Кореї заявили, що підняли винищувачі, коли два китайських і шість російських військових літаків увійшли в зону ППО в середу.
Два китайські бомбардувальники H-6 неодноразово входили в зону ідентифікації протиповітряної оборони Кореї (KADIZ) біля південного та північно-східного узбережжя Південної Кореї, починаючи з близько 5:50 ранку (20:50 GMT у вівторок), повідомив Об’єднаний комітет начальників штабів Сеула (JCS).
Вони знову увійшли в зону через кілька годин з Японського моря, відомого в Південній Кореї як Східне море, разом із російськими військовими літаками, включаючи бомбардувальники ТУ-95 і винищувачі СУ-35, і полишили зону через 18 хвилин, повідомляє JCS.
«Наші військові відправили винищувачі ВПС перед входом китайських і російських літаків у KADIZ для виконання тактичних заходів у рамках підготовки до можливої непередбаченої ситуації», — йдеться в заяві JCS.

Зона протиповітряної оборони – це зона, де країни вимагають від іноземних літаків вживати спеціальних заходів для ідентифікації. На відміну від повітряного простору країни – повітря над її територією та територіальними водами – не існує міжнародних правил, що регулюють зони протиповітряної оборони.
Москва не визнає зону ППО Кореї. У Пекіні заявили, що ця зона не є територіальним повітряним простором, і всі країни повинні мати там свободу пересування.
Повітряні сили самооборони Японії також підняли винищувачі після того, як китайські бомбардувальники пролетіли зі Східно-Китайського моря в Японське море, де до них приєдналися два російські безпілотники, повідомило Міністерство оборони Японії пізніше в прес-релізі.
Китай і Росія раніше заявляли, що їхні військові літаки проводять регулярні спільні навчання.
У серпні JCS повідомила про те, що російські військові літаки увійшли в KADIZ через три місяці після того, як китайські та російські літаки здійснили вторгнення в травні, яке стало першим після вступу на посаду президента Південної Кореї Юн Сук Йоля.
У 2019 році військові літаки Південної Кореї зробили сотні попереджувальних пострілів у бік російських військових літаків, коли вони увійшли в KADIZ під час спільного з Китаєм повітряного патрулювання.
