A török síparadicsomban történt tűzvész következtében a halottak száma 66-ra emelkedett.
Erről január 21-én, kedden számolt be az Anadolu hírügynökség.
Ali Yerlikaya belügyminiszter megerősítette, hogy a tűz áldozatainak száma 66-ra nőtt, és 51 személy sérült meg.
A tűzeset kivizsgálását Bolu tartomány ügyészsége végzi, ahol a síparadicsom található.
A turisták elmondása szerint a szállodában a tűzjelző rendszer nem működött. A vendégek egész végig nem gyanították a veszélyt, miközben a folyosókon és a lépcsőkön már sűrű, maró füst terjedt szét.

Legkevesebb tíz ember életét vesztette, és 32-en megsérültek, amikor tűz keletkezett egy síparadicsomban Törökország északkeleti részén – jelentette be Ali Yerlikaya török belügyminiszter kedden reggel.
A Bolu tartományban található kartalkayai üdülőhelyen a szálloda éttermében csaptak fel a lángok – tudatta a miniszter. Abdulaziz Aydin, a tartomány kormányzója arról számolt be, hogy ketten azért vesztették életüket, mert pánikba estek és kiugrottak az épületből. Az NTV tévécsatorna szerint többen összekötözött lepedőkön próbáltak lemászni szobájukból. Az épületben 234 ember volt a tűz idején – számolt be az MTI.
A szerencsétlenség oka egyelőre nem ismert.

Legalább 12 ember meghalt és négy megsebesült kedden egy északnyugat-törökországi lőszergyárban történt nagy erejű robbanásban – közölték a hatóságok.
„Az előzetes megállapítások szerint tizenkét alkalmazott meghalt, négyet pedig kórházba szállítottak” – közölte Ismail Ustaoglu, Balikesir tartomány kormányzója az X közösségi oldalon. Tájékoztatása szerint a robbanás nem sokkal kedden – hely idő szerint – nyolc óra harminc perc előtt történt, egy „műszaki hiba” miatt.
A robbanásban megsérült alkalmazottakat kórházba szállították, de egészségi állapotukat nem tartják aggályosnak – mondta a kormányzó az NTV 24 órás hírcsatornán.
A török hatóságok szerint a gyár, ahol a robbanás történt, lőszereket és robbanóanyagokat gyárt polgári felhasználásra.
A török tévécsatornák által sugárzott képeken fémlemezeket és üvegdarabokat lehetett látni szanaszét heverve a gyár körül, amely a kormányzó szerint részben összeomlott a lökéshullám ereje alatt. A robbanást követően keletkezett lángokat a tűzoltók megfékezték, és a gyárat teljesen kiürítették – mondta ugyanez a forrás.
A hatóságok szerint vizsgálatot indítottak, és már kizárták a szabotázs lehetőségét. Az AFP francia hírügynökség által megtekintett műholdfelvételek szerint az üzem a legközelebbi falutól egy kilométerre, Balikesir városától északra található.
Tavaly júniusban a török főváros, Ankara tartományában egy robbanóanyaggyárban történt robbanásban öt ember halt meg. Négy és fél éve, 2020 júliusában hét ember meghalt és mintegy 130-an megsérültek egy tűzijátékgyárban történt robbanásban az északnyugat-törökországi Sakarya tartományban.

Katonai helikopterek ütköztek össze Törökországban gyakorlatozás közben. Az ország délnyugati részén bekövetkezett tragédiában az egyik helikopter lezuhant, a fedélzeten tartózkodó összes utas életét vesztette.
Két török katonai helikopter ütközött össze hétfőn, amit követően az egyik lezuhant, míg a másiknak sikerült épségben földet érnie. A lezuhant helikopterben öten a helyszínen életüket vesztették, míg hatodik társuk a kórházban halt bele a sérüléseibe – közölte az AP.
Abdullah Erin, a régió kormányzója szerint a baleset a délnyugati Isparta tartományban, a helikopterek szokásos kiképzőrepülése közben történt. Az áldozatok között volt egy dandártábornok is, aki a katonai repülőiskolát irányította.
Egyelőre nem derült ki, hogy mi okozta a két helikopter összeütközését. Erin elmondta, hogy vizsgálatot indítottak az ügyben. Egy magánhírügynökség szerint az UH–1 helikopter egy szántóföldre zuhant és kettészakadt, a szerencsésebben járt helikopter mintegy 400 méterrel arrébb landolt.

Törökországban, november 25-én, hétfőn a havazás miatt 20 tartományban, valamint öt tartomány egyes kerületeiben iskolákat zártak be. Erről a CNN Türk és a Son Dakika híradásai számolt be.
A hírügynökség szerint a havazás, hóvihar, jég és vihar következtében november 25-én 20 török tartományban felfüggesztették az iskolai oktatást.
A havazás és jég miatt további öt tartomány egyes kerületeiben iskolákat zártak be. Néhány kerület vezetése a következő napokra is felfüggesztette az oktatást.
A Son Dakika beszámolója szerint Malatya tartományban, az ország keleti részén 787 embert mentettek ki a hótorlaszokból az utakon.
Hekimhan kerületben, a hegyekben öt pásztor rekedt a hócsapdában. Őket sikerült kimenteni, de később egyikük a kórházban életét vesztette.
Jelenleg is folyik az utak takarítása és az emberek mentése.

Október 30-án, szerdán tartóztatták le Isztambul egyik kerületének ellenzéki polgármesterét, Ahmet Ozert, mert állítólag több mint 10 éven át kapcsolatot tartott fenn az előzőhéten terrorcselekményt elkövető Kurdisztáni Munkáspárttal (PKK).
Október 25-én, pénteken a Kurdisztáni Munkáspárt Telegram-fiókján magára vállalta az október 23-i ankarai terrortámadást, melynek célpontja a török védelmi ipar egyik fontos cégének székháza volt.
A török állami média most arról számol be, hogy a PKK-hoz más pártok politikusainak is van köze, ugyanis a legfőbb ellenzéki párt, a Köztársasági Néppárt (CHP) egyik tagját, Ahmet Ozert október 30-án, szerdán őrizetbe vették azzal a gyanúval, hogy egy betiltott kurd militáns csoport tagja.
Ahmet Ozer, Isztambul Esenyurt kerületének polgármesterét, a CHP tagját a terrorellenes rendőrség vette őrizetbe a Kurdisztáni Munkáspárttal való állítólagos kapcsolatai miatt– írja az AP hírügynökség.
Miközben sor került a letartóztatásra, aközben éppen egy előzetes békefolyamatról folyt vita Törökországban, amelynek célja a PKK és a török állam közötti 40 éves konfliktus lezárása, amely több tízezer ember halálát okozta.
A 64 éves Ahmet Ozer egykori akadémikus, aki a kelet-törökországi Vanból származik. A márciusi helyhatósági választásokon Esenyurt, Isztambul európai oldalán fekvő nyugati külváros polgármesterévé választották. Az állami Anadolu hírügynökség jelentése szerint az isztambuli főügyészség szerint a vizsgálat kimutatta, hogy Ozer több mint 10 éven át kapcsolatot tartott fenn a PKK alakjaival. A nyomozás részeként szerdán kora délután házkutatást tartottak otthonában, járművében és irodájában a településen.
A CHP vezetője, Ozgur Ozel „csúnya játékként, nagy összeesküvésként” ítélte el a letartóztatást, és a közelmúlt politikai fejleményeivel hozta összefüggésbe.

Kurd célpontokat támadtak a török erők csütörtök éjjel Szíriában és Irakban, megtorlásképpen az előző nap Ankarában elkövetett merényletért – közölte a török állami hírügynökség a hadseregtől származó információk alapján. Az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) és a szíriai kurd erők pénteki közlése szerint Észak-Szíriában számos polgári személy is meghalt a merénylet óta végrehajtott támadásokban.
Az Anadolu hírügynökség biztonsági tisztviselőket idézett, akik elmondták, hogy az újabb csapásokat elsősorban drónokkal hajtották végre, a terrorszervezetnek nyilvánított Kurdisztáni Munkáspárthoz (PKK) tartozó „stratégiai célpontok”, így lőszerraktárak, katonai célpontok és infrastrukturális létesítmények ellen.
Szerdán a TUSAS török repülőgépgyártó vállalat ankarai székhelyénél követtek el merényletet, amelyben öten meghaltak és 22-en megsebesültek. A török kormány csütörtökön úgy nyilatkozott, hogy a szomszédos országokban is jelen lévő PKK áll a terrortámadás mögött.
Yasar Güler török védelmi miniszter csütörtökön azt közölte, hogy a csapások első hullámában 47 célpontot semmisítettek meg, 29-et Irakban és 18-at Szíriában. Hozzátette, hogy folytatják a támadásokat, amelyek célja, hogy „az utolsó szálig felszámolják a Törökország biztonságát fenyegető terroristák csoportjait”.
Az amerikai támogatást élvező szíriai kurd erők arról számoltak be, hogy az országban 12 civil esett áldozatul a török csapásoknak, 25-en megsebesültek. Az OSDH 27 halálos áldozatról tud. A török hatóságok részről „számos terrorista semlegesítéséről” tettek említést.

A helyszínen készült videón látható, ahogy a török különleges erők katonái szaladnak a gyár központi épülete felé, illetve a rendőrök is kiérkeztek már.
A török hatóságok közlése szerint terrortámadás történt, a repülőgépgyártó központi épületének kamerái rögzítették is a behatoló fegyvereseket. A hatóságok legalább két elkövetőről beszélnek és azt is közölték már, hogy a támadásnak halálos áldozatai és sebesültjei is vannak, de ennél bővebb részleteket kezdetben nem árultak el.
Négy ember meghalt és tizennégy megsebesült szerdán abban a terrortámadásban, amelyet a TUSAS török repülőgépgyártó vállalat székhelyénél követtek el Ankara külvárosában – jelentette be Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök Kazanyban a BRICS-országok csúcstalálkozóján.
Ali Yerlikaya török belügyminiszter szerint a támadók közül legalább kettőt megöltek. A sajtóban közzétették a helyszíni biztonsági kamera felvételeit, amelyeken egy fekete ruhás fegyveres férfi látható egy hátizsákkal. A felvételek szerint a támadók között volt legalább egy nő is.
