Її, швидше за все, підпалили ті, хто досі не бажає визнати, що вірус існує і його поширення можна зупинити лише за допомогою вакцин, повідомляє австралійське видання Daily Mail.

На кордонах Австрії в пунктах пропуску правоохоронці дедалі частіше виявляють підроблені тести на коронавірус. За даними міністерства внутрішніх справ Австрії, на початку квітня протягом п’яти днів було вилучено майже півсотні підробок, але, ймовірно, набагато більше людей змогли «проскочити» через перевірку.

Окрім професійно виготовлених підробок, часто вилучаються довідки про результат тестування з явними ознаками підробки. Для мешканців Австрії та працюючих там регулярні тести на коронавірус – безкоштовні. Негативний висновок, необхідний для перетину кордону, може бути зроблений і згодом, лише не пізніше 24 годин після в’їзду в країну.
Натомість за підробку документів, зокрема тесту на коронавірус, штраф може становити кілька тисяч євро, та навіть позбавлення волі від одного до п’яти років.
Згідно з повідомленнями преси, підробка тестів на коронавірус – процвітаючий бізнес у всій Європі. Окрім Австрії, правоохоронні органи Швейцарії та Німеччини також регулярно стикаються з «псевдотестами», які зазвичай продаються на різних веб-сайтах. Ціна підробленого результату тесту на чорному ринку становить близько 100 євро.

Внаслідок найсильнішої за останні десятиліття повені на сході Австралії близько сорока тисяч людей змушені були покинути свої будинки. Крім того, на даний момент уже відомо, що стихія забрала життя одного чоловіка, – заявила влада Австралії в середу.
Згідно з повідомленням поліції, в машині на північному заході Сіднея було знайдено труп наразі невстановленої особи. Це перший летальний випадок, пов’язаний зі стихійним лихом.
У результаті повені, спричиненої сильними дощами, будинки затоплені водою, повінь забрала із собою автомобілі та свійських тварин і відрізала цілі міста від зовнішнього світу.
Наразі понад сорок тисяч людей були змушені покинути свої будинки, а в середу влада наказала евакуювати нові райони західного Сіднею.
Однак у деяких районах великого міста прибирання та ремонтні роботи після повені вже розпочато. Через кілька днів сонце вперше засяяло і дощ ущухнув. Тим, хто потрапив у біду, їжу та інші життєво важливі предмети транспортували повітряним шляхом, за допомогою гелікоптерів. Прем’єр-міністр Австралії Скотт Моррісон заявив, що вантажні вертольоти доставлятимуть їжу до супермаркетів у постраждалих від повені районах, де запаси товарів скорочуються.
Прем’єр-міністр штату Новий Південний Уельс Гледіс Береджіклян заявила, що ситуація виявилася гіршою, ніж очікувалося спочатку.
«Вчора ми сподівалися, що така подія відбувається лише один раз у 20 років, а тепер вона виглядає як подія, яка відбувається один раз у 50 років», – сказала Береджіклян на брифінгу.

Метеорологи кажуть, що дощі в постраждалих районах припиняться, і не продовжуватимуться щонайменше тиждень, але дощовий фронт рухатиметься у напрямку південного острова Тасманія і також спричинить там сильні дощі та повені.

В Австралії зливи спричинили найсильнішу повінь за 50 років. Вода знищує будинки та інфраструктуру на південному сході материка, що викликали масові нашестя тварин — зокрема павуків, які приходять з дикої місцевості на земельні ділянки та в помешкання людей. З четверга не вщухають дощі, а в минулі вихідні прорвало одну з дамб, що призвело до розливу річок.

У штаті Новий Південний Уельс, який постраждав від паводків, евакуювали близько 18 тисяч людей. У соцмережах поширюють численні фото та відео нашестя плазунів і членистоногих та зображення затоплених територій.
За повідомленням деяких австралійців, усе коричневе, що можна побачити в затоплених регіонах, — це павуки.
Місцеві мешканці також повідомляють про змій, якими увішані дерева, і що всі сухі ділянки землі переповнені тваринами.
Павуки також збираються на парканах над водою, щоб підсохнути. Одна з користувачок TikTok зазначила, що вони можуть залізати навіть на ноги людей, щоб сховатися від води.
«Я не знаю жодного випадку в історії нашого штату, коли в нас були такі екстремальні погодні умови в такій швидкій послідовності під час пандемії», — сказала прем’єр-міністр Нового Південного Вельсу Гледіс Береджіклян.
Як пише Daily Mail, схожа ситуація й у штаті Квінсленд, влада якого попереджає про нашестя змій, що шукають порятунку від води, — ризик отруйних укусів може підвищитися.
Соцмережі рясніють зображеннями змій у найнеочікуваніших місцях — вони ховаються за подушками, біля труб і навіть у мангалах. Мешканців закликають не чіпати плазунів, оскільки серед них можуть бути й отруйні.
«Майте на увазі, що всі ті тисячі маленьких змій під цими тисячами каменюк і колод зараз опинилися під водою. Зміїне сімейство буде лізти нагору, поки все це не вщухне», — повідомляє Facebook-сторінка Gold Coast and Brisbane Snake Catcher.

Влада Австралії вже евакуювала 18 тисяч людей і планує евакуювати ще тисячі у понеділок із постраждалих від повені передмість на заході Сіднея, які зазнали збитків від найбільш масштабної повені за останні 60 років. Рясний дощ, як очікується, триватиме протягом найближчих кількох днів.
Невпинні дощі, які тривають протягом останніх трьох днів, спричинили паводки на річках у найбільш густонаселеному штаті Австралії, Новому Південному Уельсі, завдавши значних збитків та зробивши неминучою масову евакуацію населення.
«Нам потрібно зібратися із силами, цей тиждень буде дуже важким», – заявила журналістам прем’єр-міністр Нового Південного Уельсу Глейдіс Береджиклян.
У результаті проливного дощу затоплено низку районів штату, що суттєво контрастує з погодними умовами в цих регіонах рік тому, коли влада боролася із посухою та катастрофічними лісовими пожежами.
«Мені невідомо, чи були коли-небудь такі екстремальні погодні умови в історії штату, так стрімко поспіль, плюс у розпал пандемії», – сказала Г. Береджиклян.
У Сіднеї в неділю випало 110 міліметрів опадів, а в деяких районах Нового Південного Уельсу за останні шість днів випало майже 900 міліметрів опадів, що в три рази перевищує середні показники березня, згідно з офіційними даними.
Влада заявила, що до цього часу з низинних районів штату довелося евакуювати 18 тисяч людей. Для них відкрито 13 тимчасових центрів, але очікується відкриття ще кількох, оскільки метеорологи прогнозують подальші опади.
Прогнозується, що сильний дощ триватиме на східному узбережжі Австралії, заявила Джейн Голдінг, представник Метеорологічної служби. За її словами, деякі райони Сіднею страждають від наймасштабнішої повені з 1961 року, і дощова погода, як очікується, протримається щонайменше до середи.
Попередження про повені також видано і в сусідньому Квінсленді.

21 березня Австралію накрила найсильніша за 50 років повінь, яка стало наслідком сильної зливи. Про це повідомляє Інтерфакс-Україна.
Прем’єр-міністр штату Новий Південний Уельс Гледіс Береджіклян заявила, що ситуація виявилася гіршою, ніж очікувалося спочатку.
„Вчора ми сподівалися, що така подія відбувається лише один раз у 20 років, а тепер вона виглядає як подія, яка відбувається один раз в 50 років”, – сказала Береджіклян на брифінгу.
Людям у деяких районах міста Сідней було рекомендовано залишити свої будинки посеред ночі, оскільки швидко рухомі потоки води викликали масові руйнування. Близько 1 тис. осіб запросили допомоги в евакуації, ще близько 4 тис., за заявою Береджіклян, можуть бути змушені залишити свої будинки. Аварійні служби вже оцінюють загальну кількість пошкоджених будинків „в сотні”.
Кілька великих доріг по всьому штату закриті, багато шкіл скасували заняття на понеділок.
Метеорологи повідомили, що злива триватиме ще кілька днів. Аварійні бригади зафіксували близько 6 тис. викликів з проханням про надання допомоги з початку дощів у четвер, включаючи майже 700 прямих закликів до порятунку.
Екстремальні погодні умови вплинули на доставку вакцини від COVID-19 по всьому Новому Південному Уельсу. Порушені плани із доставки перших доз для майже 6 млн осіб протягом наступних тижнів.

Через опіки кубомедузи, одного з найбільш отруйних видів медуз у світі, у лікарні в Австралії помер підліток, повідомляє телеканал «9News», посилаючись на інформацію поліції.
17-річний хлопець десять днів тому плавав біля узбережжя мису Йорк, що на півночі Австралії, коли його тіла торкнулися щупальця кубомедузи. Хлопця після надання йому першої допомоги доставили до лікарні, але через отримані опіки, нанесені медузою, він помер.
Це перший випадок смерті через ужалення кубомедузи за останні п’ятнадцять років в Австралії.
«У наших водах водяться кубомедузи та інші види медуз, які можуть викликати синдром іруканджи, небезпечний для людини», – попереджає місцева влада. Їхня отрута при дії на людину викликає ланцюг паралітичних ефектів: сильний головний біль, болі в спині, м’язах, болі в області живота і таза, нудоту і блювоту, пітливість, неспокій, гіпертонію, тахікардію і набряк легенів. Тому без захисного одягу заходити у воду в цій зоні не рекомендується.
Деякі з кубомедуз небезпечні для людини. Наразі відомо про сімдесят випадків смерті людей внаслідок їхніх опіків.

За даними видання, про виявлення решток людської стопи та взуття на пляжі за 400 км від Сіднея повідомили туристи. Поліція вивчила зразки ДНК із решток і виявилося, що стопа належить зниклій жінці.
Обставини смерті жінки залишаються загадкою. Враховуючи всі обставини, поліція також не виключає факту самогубства.
