Oroszország legutóbb áprilisban ajándékozott madarakat, sasokat, darvakat és papagájokat a phenjani állatkertnek.



Putyin emellett augusztusban adott 24 telivér lovat, amely Kim Dzsongun favoritjának számít, az észak-koreai vezető pedig júniusban Pungszan vadászkutyát adott ajándékba az orosz elnöknek.

A Dnyipropetrovszk megyei Jelizavetivka községben egy lovasfarmon tűz ütött ki, amelynek következtében több mint 140 háziállat pusztult el, számolt be az ukrán Állami Katasztrófavédelmi Szolgálat Dnyipropetrovszk régióbeli főosztálya.






Az eset éjjel történt, amikor a 101-es mentőszolgálathoz bejelentés érkezett a Dnyipro járásbeli Petrikivszka település kistérségéhez tartozó Jelizavetivka községben, a Szobornij utcában keletkezett tűzről.



A tűz elborította a gazdasági épületek faszerkezetét és azokat a helyiségeket, ahol az állatokat tartották, 700 m² területen, de a mentőknek sikerült lokalizálni és eloltani a tüzet.



A tűz oltásában 21 mentő és 4 tűzoltóegység vett részt.

Egy szolyvai lakos hívta a 101-es telefonszámot azzal az információval, hogy a Mennyei Század utcában egy kóbor kutya csatornaaknába esett.







A járókelő hallotta az ugatást, de mivel önerőből nem tudott segíteni a négylábún, kihívta a mentőket. A 12. számú állami tűzoltó- és mentőegység munkatársai érkeztek a helyszínre, hogy segítsenek az eben. Az állatot egy kötél segítségével emelték ki, a megmentett megugatta a jelenlévőket, majd továbbszaladt.

„Képzeljék csak el: az orosz agresszió következtében hatmillió háziállat pusztult el. Hatmillió! Ezek hivatalos adatok. Legalább 50 ezer delfin pusztult el a Fekete-tengerben. Több ezer hektár talaj káros anyagokkal szennyezett, nagyobb része termékeny talaj. Termékeny talajok voltak” – mondta Zelenszkij.



Az államfő hozzátette: több millió hektár erdő égett le, csaknem 200 ezer hektárnyi földterület van tele fel nem robbant aknákkal és lövedékekkel. Több tucat szénbányát elöntött a víz, többek között a donyecki régióban található Junkom bánya, amelyben 1979-ben földalatti atomrobbanást hajtottak végre.



Zelenszkij elmondta, a múlt héten az egyiptomi klímacsúcson azt javasolta, hogy hozzanak létre egy platformot a háború környezeti kárainak felmérésére, és ezt meg is kell valósítani.



„Közös válaszokat kell találnunk a háború okozta környezeti fenyegetésekre is. E nélkül nem lesz visszatérés a normális, stabil élethez, és a háború visszhangja még sokáig megmarad: a gyerekek és felnőttek életét követelő aknarobbanásokban, a víz, a talaj és a légszennyezésben” – összegezte az elnök.

A balesetben egy Skoda Superb és egy Mercedes-Benz tört össze, szerencsére azonban senki nem sérült meg. A járművezetők elmondták, hogy menet közben hirtelen egy szarvas ugrott eléjük, az egyik jármű elütötte az állatot, ezt követően a vad átrepült a szembejövő sávba, ahol a másik gépkocsi is áthajtott rajta.







Az állat a helyszínen életét vesztette – közölte a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata (DSZNSZ).

Mintegy 350 szajga (tatárantilop) pusztult el Kazahsztánban valószínűleg villámcsapás miatt – közölték a közép-ázsiai ország illetékesei. Az elpusztult állatok tetemeit az ország nyugati részén találták meg az ellési szezon kellős közepén.







A kazah környezetvédelmi minisztérium közleménye szerint valószínűleg villámcsapások okozták halálukat, mivel azok nyomait megtalálták a tetemeken. A Nemzetközi Természetvédelmi Szövetség (IUCN) vörös listája a szajgát a súlyosan veszélyeztetett fajok közé sorolja.



A Közép-Ázsiában őshonos állat egyedeinek nagy többsége Kazahsztánban él, kisebb populációk találhatók Oroszországban és Mongóliában. 2015-ben mintegy 200 ezer szajga – az akkori teljes populáció több mint fele – elpusztult egy baktériumfertőzés miatt.



Egy 2019-ben levegőből végzett állatszámlálás nyomán Kazahsztánban több mint 330 ezer egyedre becsülte a populáció nagyságát. A szajgákra állandó veszélyt jelent az orvvadászat, mivel szarvukért nagy a kereslet a kínai hagyományos gyógyászatban.

Az állatokat Ecuador szárazföldi részére csempészték volna – közölte az ecuadori környezetvédelmi minisztérium a Twitteren. Egy rutinellenőrzésen találták meg vasárnap az állatokat, a rendőrség nyomozást indított.



A környezetvédelmi miniszter, Marcelo Mata elítélte az Ecuador vadállatai és természeti öröksége ellen elkövetett bűnt.



Az állatcsempészeket a Galápagos-szigeteken 1-3 év börtönnel büntethetik.



Egyedülálló állat- és növényvilága miatt az Ecuadortól ezer kilométerre nyugatra lévő vulkáni szigetek 1979 óta az UNESCO világörökségi listáján szerepelnek. A szigetcsoporton él a galápagosi óriásteknős, az eredetileg ott honos 15 teknősfaj közül három már kihalt.



A Csendes-óceánban elzártan lévő szigetcsoporton világviszonylatban a legnagyobb a kizárólag ott megtalálható fajok száma. A szigeten 1835-ben tett látogatása és különleges állatvilágának megismerése inspirálta Charles Darwint evolúciós elmélete megalkotására.

Ausztráliában a heves esőzések okozták az elmúlt 50 év legsúlyosabb áradását. A víz tönkreteszi a szárazföld délkeleti részén lévő házakat és az infrastruktúrát, hatalmas állati inváziót okozva, többek között a vadonból a szárazföldre és az emberi lakhelyekre érkező pókok. Az esőzések csütörtök óta nem szűnnek, a múlt hétvégén pedig az egy gát átszakadt, ami a folyók áradásához vezetett, számolt be a CNN.







Mintegy 18 000 embert evakuáltak az árvíz sújtotta Új-Dél-Wales államban. A közösségi hálók számos fotót és videót hoztak nyilvánosságra a hüllők és ízeltlábúak inváziójáról, az elárasztott területekről. Az ausztrál polgárok közleményei szerint, minden, ami barna az elárasztott területeken, azok pókok.



A helyiek fákon lógó kígyókról számolnak be és arról, hogy minden száraz földterület állatokkal lett túlzsúfolt. A pókok a víz fölött gyűlnek össze, hogy megszáradjanak. Az egyik TikTok-felhasználó szerint az emberek lábára is felmászhatnak, hogy elrejtőzzenek a víz elől, közölte a CNN.









„Nem ismerek államunk történetében egyetlen olyan esetet sem, amikor ilyan rendkívüli időjárási viszonyok voltak ilyen sűrűn egymás után a járvány idején” – mondta az új-dél-walesi miniszterelnök.



Hasonló a helyzet Queenslandben, amelynek kormánya a víz elől menedéket kereső kígyók inváziójára figyelmeztetett, megnőhet a mérgező harapások kockázata, közölte a Daily Mail.









A közösségi hálók tele vannak a legváratlanabb helyeken megjelenő kígyók fotóival – párnák alatt, csövek közelébe, sőt grillezőkbe is bebújnak. A lakosokat arra szólítják fel, ne nyúljanak a hüllőkhöz, mert mérgezőek lehetnek.



„Vegyék figyelembe, hogy mindezen ezer kis kígyó, ami korábban a több ezer kő és rönk alatt volt, most víz alatt van. A kígyó család felfelé fog mászni, amíg mindez el nem múlik” – közölte a Gold Coast and Brisbane Snake Catcher Facebook-oldalán.
