Országszerte tüntetések zajlanak Iránban, amiért a 22 éves Mahsa Amini nem tisztázott körülmények között meghalt, miután az erkölcsrendészet őrizetbe vette. Az egyre intenzívebb megmozdulások mögé most beállt az Anonymous-hackercsoport is.
Az Anonymous elindított az Irán-hadműveletet – jelentette be szerdán több mint 5,5 millió követővel rendelkező Twitter-csatornáján a hackercsoport. A lépésre azután került sor, hogy több ember meghalt azokban az erőszakba torkolló tüntetésekben, melyekben az iráni népharag egyre hangosabban követeli „a diktátor halálát”, azaz Ebrahim Raiszi elnök minden értelemben történő távozását.
A megmozdulásokat az váltotta ki, hogy múlt héten egy rendőrségi furgonban életét vesztette a 22 éves Mahsa Amini. Egy teheráni metróállomáson vette őrizetbe az erkölcsrendészet múlt hét kedden, mert a nőnek nem volt teljesen eltakarva a haja. Aminit betették egy furgonba, hogy az őrizeteseknek fenntartott központba szállítsák, ám útközben kómába esett. Az iráni hatóságok ezt egészségügyi okokból fakadó szívelégtelenséggel magyarázzák, ám a gyanú szerint az történt, hogy
a rendőrök annyira megverték Aminit, hogy azért esett kómába, majd három nappal később a kórházban meghalt.
A tüntetések időközben túlnőttek Amini halálának ügyén, és az országban évtizedek óta gyűlő feszültség látszik elszabadulni. Különösen a fiatalok körében egyre nagyobb a felháborodás az iráni gazdasági helyzet, valamint a szigorú politikai és társadalmi korlátozások miatt. Az embereket az is feldühítette, hogy a hatóságok tagadták a rendőrség érintettségét, és követelték, hogy a letartóztatásában részt vevő rendőrök álljanak bíróság elé. A tüntetők azt is követelik, hogy töröljék el a vallási rendőrséget, és az annak működését megalapozó törvényeket is.
Ezen a ponton kapcsolódik be az Anonymous-hackercsoport. A kollektíva bejelentette: most minden erejével próbálja segíteni a tüntetők szervezkedését, melyet az iráni hatóságok az internet egyre erősebb cenzúrázásával, illetve részleges lekapcsolásával igyekeznek akadályozni.
Az Anonymous emellett hozzáfogott az iráni állami médiumok felületeinek feltöréséhez is.
Az internetelérés akadályozását figyelő NetBlocks szerint hétfőn szinte teljesen elérhetetlenné vált a hálózat Irán Kurdisztán tartományában, ahonnan Mahsa Amini származott. A NetBlocks elemzői arra jutottak, ezzel az iráni hatóságok egyértelműen a tüntetések online szervezését próbálják ellehetetleníteni.
Az Európai Unió külügyi szolgálata elfogadhatatlannak nevezte azt, ahogy a hatóságok bántak Mahsa Aminivel. Aggodalmát fejezte ki az eset miatt, illetve az annak kapcsán kitört tüntetéseken tapasztalható rendőri erőszakkal szemben Nada al-Nashif, az ENSZ emberi jogi ügyvivője.

A nemzetközi hackercsoport már a háború másnapján bejelentette, hogy hackertámadásokat fog indítani az orosz érdekeltségű kormányzati és más honlapok ellen. Eddig már legalább 2500 honlapot támadtak meg, de nem csak Oroszországban, hanem Fehéroroszországban is.
Egy hozzájuk köthető másik kollektíva korábban azt állította, hogy sikerrel hackelte meg az orosz ürkutatási ügynökséget, a Roszkozmoszt és átvették az irányítást a kémműholdjaik felett. A Roszkozmosz visszautasította, hogy ilyen történt volna.

Az Anonymus elnevezésű hackercsoport vállalta a felelősséget azon kibertámadásokért, melyek több, az orosz kormányhoz köthető oldalt tettek elérhetetlenné szerdán.
Az Anonymus hackercsoport néhány tagja vállalta a felelősséget az orosz államhoz szorosan köthető weboldalak elleni támadás kapcsán, és egyértelműsítették, az akció nyilvánvalóan azért történt, mert Putyin lerohanta Ukrajnát.
Az orosz RT állami hírportál is megerősítette a rosszindulatú, DDoS támadásokat, habár azt állították, hogy “sikeresen visszaverték a kibertámadást”, mely az oldalt érte. Az Anonymus eközben egy tweetben fejtette ki a támadás okát, és közölték, az RT Putyin “propagandaállomása”, és azt is hozzátették, hogy így kívántak bosszút állni a “brutális ukrajnai invázióért”.
Korábban az Anonymus fő felhasználói fiókjához kapcsolódó fiókon is közzétettek egy rövid tweetet, melyben közölték, “a kollektíva jelenleg az Orosz Föderáció elleni műveletekben tevékenykedik”, s hozzátették, céljuk “kizárólag a béke megteremtése a világon”.
Szerdán több jelentés is érkezett arról, hogy az orosz államhoz köthető erők számos hackertámadást indítottak az ukrán kormányzati weboldalak, valamint banki szervezetek ellen, nem sokkal később pedig érkezett az ellentámadás, melynek során az orosz hadsereg és a Kreml oldalai is elérhetetlenné váltak egy időre.
