Életét vesztette a kelet-ukrajnai harcokban Rudolf Wittman romániai önkéntes, aki az ukrán fegyveres erők soraiban harcolt az orosz megszállók ellen – közölte szerdán az rbc.ua hírportál a Digi24 román tévécsatornára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a 27 éves Wittman Arad városában született és nőtt fel, tavaly érkezett Ukrajnába harcolni. „Az életedet adtad Ukrajnáért, egy háborúért, aminek nem kellett volna a tiednek lennie, de azért voltál ott, hogy legyen jövőnk” – írta a barátnője.
Mielőtt Rudolf Wittman megérkezett volna az ukrajnai frontra, öt évig nehéz körülmények között gyakorolt az Idegenlégióval együtt. Minden ismerőse jó emberként emlékezett meg róla.
