Több mint 150 település maradt áram nélkül keddre virradóra a rossz időjárás miatt Nyugat-Ukrajna három megyéjében, közölték az energetikai szakemberek és a katasztrófavédők – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a Rivne, Ivano-Frankivszk és Ternopil megyei rendőrség jelentéseire hivatkozva.
A jelentések szerint fák dőltek ki, részleges útakadályok keletkeztek, a kidőlt fák autókban és épületekben okoztak károkat.
Rivne megyében reggel 8:00 órára 61 település volt teljesen, 2 pedig részlegesen áram nélkül a rossz időjárás miatt. Ugyanakkor a térség összes járásában 13 634 előfizető van áram nélkül. Az energetikai szakemberek és más szolgáltatások munkatársai dolgoznak az áramszolgáltatás helyreállításán.
Ternopil megyében 66 településen nincs áram, ebből 42-n részlegesen. „Zbarazsa, Zboriv, Berezsanszk, Pidvolocsi, Ternopil és Kremenec közigazgatási egységek területén 18 elektromos vezeték rongálódott meg, 8082 fogyasztó van áram nélkül. Az energetikai brigádok azon dolgoznak, hogy a régió lakosainak otthonaiban a lehető leghamarabb helyreállítsák az áramszolgáltatást” – jegyezte meg a megyei katonai Adminisztráció.
A megyében úttestre dőlt fákat is jelentettek. Az állami utakat azonban nem zárták le teljesen. A rendőrök biztosították a forgalom irányítását a problémás útszakaszokon.
Ivano-Frankivszk megyében a mostoha időjárás miatt ma reggelre 29 település maradt áram nélkül, további 36 település részlegesen áram nélkül van. 23 távvezeték is áramtalan. „Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivszk, Kalush, Kolomyia és Kosziv járások voltak a leginkább érintettek. A villanyszerelő csapatok dolgoznak az áramszolgáltatás helyreállításán” – jegyezte meg a megyei katonai adminisztráció.
Az Ukrenerho közlése szerint július 8-án 07:00 óráig 701 településen nem volt áram a rossz időjárási körülmények miatt a következő megyékben: Vinnica – 66, Lemberg – 206, Voliny – 172, Ternopil – 66, Kárpátalja – 133, Ivano-Frankivszk – 63, Rivne – 61.

A Milton hurrikán, amely röviddel a Helen hurrikán pusztítása után újabb komoly károkat okozott Floridában, mostanra elhagyta az államot és hamarosan elcsendesül az Atlanti-óceán felett. A mentési és kárfelmérési munkálatok még hetekig eltartanak, így jelenleg nem lehet pontosan felmérni a károk nagyságát. Eddig 11 halálos áldozatról tudni, de a hatóságok szerint sikerült elkerülni a legsúlyosabb forgatókönyvet.
12 óra alatt száguldott keresztül Floridán a Milton hurrikán. Legalább 11 ember meghalt, de egyelőre nincs arról adat, hogy hány embert tartanak nyilván eltűntként. A hurrikán partot érése előtt 19 tornádót regisztráltak. A PowerOutage.us nyomkövető szolgáltatás szerint több mint 3,4 millió ügyfél van áram nélkül.
A vihar fákat döntött ki, törmeléket hordott az utakra, lerombolt legalább 100 épületet és leszakította a Tampa Bay Rays baseball-csapatnak otthont adó stadion kupoláját. A vihar egyes területeken csaknem fél méternyi esőt zúdított. Legalább 340 embert és 49 háziállatot mentettek ki a folyamatban lévő kutatási és mentési műveletek során.
Két héten belül a második hurrikán
A Milton hurrikán két héttel azután érkezett, hogy az Egyesült Államok délkeleti részét lerohanta a Helene hurrikán, amely több mint 200 ember halálát okozta, és többen eltűntek. Az akkori tapasztalatok alapján most a hatóságok lényegesen hamarabb kezdték el a lakosság tájékoztatását és evakuálását, valószínűleg ennek is köszönhető, hogy a Milton kevesebb halálos áldozatot követelt. Egyesek szerint túlzó is volt a figyelmeztetés, a korábban legnagyobb, 5-ös kategóriába sorolt hurrikán 3-asra szelídült, mire partot ért. Így is 200 km/órás széllökéseket okozott.
Elkerülték a legrosszabbat
Ron DeSantis floridai kormányzó szerint az állam elkerülte a „legrosszabb forgatókönyvet”, bár figyelmeztetett, hogy a károk így is jelentősek, és az áradások továbbra is aggodalomra adnak okot.
Újranyitások
A tampai nemzetközi repülőtér közép-európai idő szerint ma kora délután nyit újra, addigra már több öböl menti kikötő, köztük Panama City, St Joe és a floridai Key West is újra fogad hajókat. Tampa környékén újranyitják a hidakat is.
Ismét lehet szórakozni a floridai vidámparkokban: a Disney World, a Universal Studios és a SeaWorld is bejelentették, hogy némileg csökkentett üzemben, de ismét várják a közönséget.
Aligátorok a vízben
Aligátorokat láttak az árvízben – mondta egy hurrikánkutató a Sky Newsnak. Arra figyelmeztetett, hogy az embereknek óvatosnak kell lenniük, amikor a vízben járnak.
50 kilométerre a parttól
A parti őrség kimentett egy férfit, aki egy hűtőbe kapaszkodva lebegett a vízen, mintegy 50 kilométernyire a parttól a Mexikói-öbölben, Longboat Key-nél. A túlélését és megtalálását nagyban segítette, hogy mentőmellény volt rajta, amin működött a helymeghatározó és a jelzőfény. A férfi a hajójáról került a vízbe.

Texas sűrűn lakott délkeleti részének hatóságai további három halálos áldozatról számoltak be helyi idő szerint péntek este, köztük egy 85 éves asszonyról, akinek a háza villámcsapás nyomán gyulladt ki. Előzőleg Houston polgármestere már négy halálos áldozatról beszámolt.

A városi tisztségviselők a helyreállítási munkával párhuzamosan egy közelgő hőhullámra készülnek, és az áramellátás nélkül maradt lakosok számára „hűsölő központokat” nyitottak meg, azaz légkondicionált helyiségeket nyitottak.
A hőség miatt több száz mobil klímaberendezést juttattak el idősek, és mozgáskorlátozottak számára is. A következő napokban a hőmérséklet napi csúcsértéke tartósan meghaladhatja a 35 fokot, miközben a nagy páratartalom miatt a hőérzet megközelítheti a 40 fokot Houston körzetében, és Texas teljes déli területein.

Március 18-án, hétfőn reggel 406 település maradt áram nélkül a harcok és egyéb okok miatt. A hírt az Ukrenerho közölte.
A jelentés szerint károk és áramkimaradások vannak Dnyipropetrovszk, Donyeck, Zaporizzsja, Szumi, Harkiv, Herszon és Csernyihiv régiókban a támadások miatt.
Ezzel párhuzamosan Zaporizzsja, Szumi és Csernyihiv megyékben technikai okok miatt van áramszünet.

Ukrajnában az elmúlt napokban több megyében is áramszünetek voltak a rossz időjárási viszonyok és az ellenség ágyúzása miatt. A hírt az Energetikai Minisztérium közölte a Facebookon.
A hivatal szerint a harcok, a rossz időjárás és a műszaki okok miatt Ukrajnában nyolc megyében voltak áramellátási problémák. A nap folyamán az energiavállalatoknak több mint 24 600 fogyasztó áramellátását sikerült visszaállítaniuk.
Kárpátalján, Kirovohrad, Dnyipropetrovszk, Donyeck, Szumi, Herszon és Harkiv megyében észleltek legtöbben áramkimaradást.
