A 76 éves színész és egykori testépítőikon ellen adócsalás miatt indult büntetőeljárás.
Thomas Meister vámügyi szóvivő szerint ugyanis adót kellett volna fizetnie az óra értéke után, hiszen Schwarzenegger az Európai Unióban akarta eladni.
A Schwarzenegger Iniciatíva honlapja szerint egyébként az ilyen vacsorákon általában elárverezett tételek között rendre műalkotások és aláírt emléktárgyak szerepelnek – remélhetőleg elvámolva, ha az EU-n kívülről érkeznek.

Arnold Schwarzenegger autóbalesetet szenvedett Los Angelesben, egy Sunset Boulevard közeli kereszteződésben. A balesetben négy autó ütközött, egy embert szállítottak kórházba.
Arnold Schwarzenegger szóvivője megerősítette, hogy a színész részese volt egy péntek délutáni autóbalesetnek, amelynél négy autó ütközött össze. A karambolban egy ember sérült meg – közölte a Los Angeles-i rendőrség. A színész látható egy helyszínen készült képen is.
A jelentés szerint egy terepjáró és egy Toyota Priusz ütközött össze a Sunset Boulevard és az Allenford Avenue metszéspont közelében, amiknek további két autó is neki ment. A rendőrség senkit nem vett őrizetbe és kizárták a sofőrök kábítószer- és alkoholfogyasztást is.
Egy embert a mentők kórházba szállítottak, azonban Schwarzenegger szóvivője elmondta, hogy a színész nem sérült meg. A balesetet jelenleg vizsgálják.
