37 évesen meghalt a Nascar volt pilótája, Bobby East, akit egy benzinkúton késelt halálra egy 27 éves férfi július 13-án, a californiai Westminsterben.
Az egykori Nascar-pilóta és háromszoros USAC-bajnok (Egyesült Államok Autóklubja) épp tankolta az autóját, amikor Trent William Milsap belekötött, és a mellkasán megszúrta. Ezután gyorsan kórházba szállították, de a sportoló végül meghalt.
Néhány nappal később a rendőrség megtalálta és lelőtte a sportoló gyilkosát, aki egy feltételesen szabadlábon lévő hajléktalan férfi.
A rendőrség szerint Millsap, egy átutazó, aki gyakran jár Westminsterben, Anaheimben és Garden Grove-ban, azzal is vádolják, hogy a 76-os benzinkútnál megkéselt egy másik férfit, mielőtt megtámadta Eastet.
