Ukrajna 144 katonát menekített ki az orosz fogságból, közülük 95-en az Azovsztal acélgyár védelmezői. Ez az eddigi legeredményesebb fogolycsere – közölte a Védelmi Minisztérium hírszerzési osztálya.
A fogolycserére június 29-én került sor. Az Azovsztal védelmezőin kívül a Nemzeti Gárdánál, a fegyveres erőknél, a határőrségnél, a területvédelmi alakulatoknál és a rendőrségnél szolgáló harcosok is hazatérhettek.
A hírszerzési osztálynál elmondták, hogy a legtöbb katonai sérült, azonban mindannyian részesülnek orvosi és pszichológiai ellátásban. A legidősebb védelmező 65, a legfiatalabb pedig mindössze 19 éves.
