Az ukrán hadsereg közeledik Bahmut műveleti bekerítéséhez, a csapataink továbbra is ellenőrzik a város egy kis részét – közölte vasárnap Olekszandr Szirszkij vezérezredes, a Kelet hadműveleti csoport parancsnoka a Telegram-csatornáján, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Szirszkij azt írta: „Annak ellenére, hogy jelenleg Bahmut egy kis részét ellenőrizzük, a város védelmének jelentősége nem veszítette el relevanciáját. Lehetőséget ad arra, hogy a helyzet változása esetén benyomuljunk a városba. És ez biztosan meg fog történni.”
A vezérezredes megjegyezte, hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők továbbra is előrenyomulnak Bahmut külvárosában, és valójában közelednek a város taktikai gyűrűbe fogásához. „Ennek köszönhetően az ellenség által elfoglalt összes többemeletes épületet ellenőrizni tudjuk, és fokozatosan leromboljuk. Ez megfosztja az ellenséget attól, hogy ellenőrizze a város határát, és bizonyos taktikai előnyöket biztosít számunkra” – magyarázta Olekszandr Szirszkij.
