„Egy autós elvesztette uralmát járműve felett, négy embert elütött, közülük ketten súlyosan megsérültek” – tudatta a prefektúra az AFP francia hírügynökséggel, hozzátéve, hogy a sofőr feladta magát a rendőrségen. Az ügyészség csak annyit erősített meg, hogy a jármű vezetője őrizetben van.
Egy, az ügyhöz közel álló forrás megerősítette, hogy a cselekmény nem volt szándékos. E forrás szerint a sofőr nagy sebességgel haladt Grenoble egyik főútvonalán, amikor belehajtott a PSG győzelmét ünneplő tömegbe, és elütött két 17 éves férfit, egy 23 és egy 46 éves nőt, akik ugyanannak a családnak a tagjai.

Nápoly belvárosában összecsaptak a német Eintracht Frankfurt szimpatizánsai a helyi rendőrökkel a Napoli elleni labdarúgó Bajnokok Ligája nyolcaddöntő esti visszavágója előtt.
A német szurkolók egy rendőrautót felgyújtottak, járművek üvegeit törték be, pirotechnikai eszközöket használtak, utcai székeket és más tárgyakat dobáltak a kiérkező rendőrökre, miközben a békés járókelők menedéket kerestek az éttermekben, bárokban.
Végül sikerült lecsillapítani a tömeget, a németeket buszokra terelték és visszavitték őket a szurkolói szállodába.
Azt is sikerült elérni, hogy a két csapat tábora ne találkozhasson össze, noha a Napoli ultrái kövekkel és üvegekkel dobálták meg a német szimpatizánsok buszait. A rendőrség fokozott készültségben van, közel nyolcszázan teljesítenek szolgálatot.
Frankfurtból annak ellenére érkezett több mint hatszáz szurkoló Nápolyba, hogy a helyi hatóságok eltiltották a németeket a jegyvásárlástól az első találkozón tapasztalt rendbontások miatt. Akkor a német drukkerek a stadionhoz érkező olasz rendszámú autókat kövekkel és üvegekkel dobálták meg, az olasz szimpatizánsok egy része pedig megtámadta a dobálókat. A február 21-i első mérkőzésen 36 személyt vettek őrizetbe.
Most a vendégdrukkereket segítették a Napolival ellenséges viszonyban lévő Atalanta ultrái is.
