Aleksandar Vucic szerb államfő a szerb–horvát határhoz rendelte a hadsereget azért, hogy a katonák a helyi lakosság biztonságát és vagyonát óvják az illegális migránsoktól – közölte a szerbiai közszolgálati televízió (RTS) szombaton.
A szerb kormány csütörtökön visszavonta a szükségállapot kihirdetésekor bevezetett intézkedést, amely megtiltotta, hogy az országban tartózkodó migránsok szabadon mozoghassanak. Ez azt jelenti, hogy péntektől a befogadóközpontok ismét megnyíltak, a migránsok pedig ismét megjelentek a határ menti településeken.
A horvát határnál három befogadóközpont található, ezekben a szerbiai menekültügyi főbiztosság adatai szerint valamivel több mint 1500 migráns tartózkodik.
Aleksandar Vucic a belgrádi Prva Televíziónak azt mondta: nem történtek súlyos bűncselekmények, azonban többen is lopásokról adtak hírt, illetve jelentették, hogy az illegális bevándorlók házakba törtek be. Emiatt a helyiek nem érzik magukat biztonságban, garantálni kell a védelmüket.

A beszámoló alapján a csaknem százfős csoport a Velika Kladusa melletti
Miral befogadóközpontból jutott ki, hogy a néhány kilométerre fekvő
horvát-bosnyák határátkelőhöz menjen. A készültség az odáig vezető úton is
erős, a rendőrséget a határőrség, valamint a fővárosból érkező különleges
egységek is segítik.
A tudósító szerint a tiltakozók körülbelül százan lehetnek, főképp
pakisztániak és bangladesiek.
A táborban a hivatalos adatok szerint 700-an lakhatnak, de ez csak a
befogadóképesség felső határa, valójában sokkal többen tartózkodhatnak ott –
tette hozzá.
A tömegből több embert kiemeltek a rendőrök, de a tapasztalatok szerint nem
maradnak sokáig elkülönítve, és kitoloncolni sem tudják őket – mondta az M1
tudósítója. Híradások szerint Szarajevóban is sok bevándorló van, mások pedig
országszerte üres házakban húzzák meg magukat, és aki teheti, esténként útnak
indul nyugat felé – tette hozzá.
