Az izraeli támadásokat elítélték, ám az ENSZ-békefenntartók nem vonulnak ki Libanonból. A nemzetközi szervezet szóvivője szerint ugyanis a békefenntartóknak segítséget kell nyújtaniuk a civil lakosság evakuálásában.
A ENSZ libanoni békefenntartó missziójának (UNIFIL) szóvivője pénteken elítélte az izraeli erők által az utóbbi napokban végrehajtott támadásokat, de leszögezte, hogy Libanonban maradnak.
Maradnunk kell, bár azt mondták, hogy távozzunk – mondta a Bejrútból videokapcsolaton keresztül bejelentkezett Andrea Tenenti, arra utalva, hogy az izraeli erők kivonulásra szólították fel őket.
A szóvivő „megdöbbentő pusztításról” számolt be a Libanon és Izrael közötti demarkációs vonal, az úgynevezett kék vonal mentén, és azon túl is. Hangsúlyozta, hogy sok falu szenvedett károkat.

A nemzetközi egyezmények azonban a lakott területek környékén tiltják a bevetésüket, mert tüzet és súlyos égési sérüléseket okozhatnak.
A szóvivő egy kérdésre válaszolva annak a drónnak a lelövéséről is beszámolt, amely csütörtökön megközelítette a libanoni partoknál lévő hajójukat. Mint mondta: „A délről érkező drón nagyon, nagyon közel, néhány méteres távolságban körözött a hajó körül.”

Egy békefenntartó katona életét vesztette a boszniai Travnik település közelében található Vlašić-hegyen, ahol az EUFOR missziójában szolgált.

November 13-án, szombaton a békefenntartók (orosz katonák) több órára lezárták a Sztyepanakert–Lacsinautóutat az örmény és azeri felek összecsapása miatt, számolt be gyakorlatilag egy időben az örmény és az azerbajdzsáni sajtó.
Mint ismeretes, hogy a Lacsini folyosót az orosz katonák azt követően blokkolták, miután egy helyi lakos gránátot dobott az azerbajdzsáni katonákra, akik válaszul tüzet nyitottak.
A „Kavkazszkij uzel” információs kiadvány adatai szerint november 8-án azerbajdzsáni csapatok rálőttek a Susa melletti kereszteződésen szerelési munkálatokat végző az örmény munkásokra. Ennek eredményeként 3 munkás kórházba került, az egyik sebesült később a kórházban meghalt. Hegyi-Karabah hatósága követelte, hogy „forró nyomon” kapják el az elkövetőket.
És az egész azzal kezdődött, hogy november 13-án este az orosz békefenntartók és azerbadzsáni katonák által közösen ellenőrzött hegyi-karabahi Susi poszt közelében megállt egy magán taxi, abból egy férfi szállt ki és gránátot dobott az azeri katonák közé. Az azeri fél adatai szerint hárman megsérültek.
Az örmény „Times” kiadvány arról számolt be, hogy a férfi, aki november 13-án gránátot dobott az azerbajdzsáni katonák felé, annak a hegyi-karabahi áldozatnak a testvére, akit az azerbajdzsáni katonák öltek meg november 8-án és akit már őrizetbe vettek az orosz békefenntartók.
Azerbajdzsánban az eset kapcsán büntetőeljárást indítottak a terrorizmusról szóló cikkely alapján.
Az eddig el nem ismert köztársaság Nemzetbiztonsági Szolgálata ugyanakkor kijelentette, hogy a rendfenntartó szervek az orosz békefenntartókkal közösen hajtják végre az üggyel kapcsolatos „operatív és bűnügyi-eljárási műveleteket”.
A Lacsini folyosó az egyetlen út, amely hivatalosan összeköti Örményországot az el nem ismert Hegyi-Karabahi Köztársaság területével. Néhány órával az esetet követően Sztyepanakert–Lacsin autóúton újraindult a közlekedés.
