Az orosz rendőrség felvette Vlagyimir Putyin elnök volt beszédíróját a körözött bűnelkövetők listájára, ami újabb lépés a másként gondolkodók elleni átfogó orosz fellépésben.
A lépésről beszámoló AP emlékeztetett: Abbasz Galljamov az orosz vezető 2008-12 közötti miniszterelnöki megbízatása idején írt beszédeket írt Putyinnak.
Galljamov később szókimondó, erősen Putyin- és rendszerkritikus politikai tanácsadó és elemző lett, akit az orosz és külföldi média gyakran idézett. Az elmúlt években már külföldön élt.
A volt beszédíró közelről ismerte az orosz elnököt, és többször beszélt arról, milyen változásokat lát most a 10 évvel ezelőtti Putyinhoz képest. Egyszer azt emelte ki, hogy szerinte Putyin sokkal érzelmesebbé vált az elmúlt években.
Arról is beszélt, hogy amikor Putyin elnök lett, még nem volt nehéz neki dolgozni. „Nem számított a Nyugat ellenségének, a modernizációt képviselte”. Bár Galljamov elismerte, hogy Putyin „a szólásszabadság elnyomására már akkor is tett lépéseket.”
