Zavargások törtek ki Hágában egy migrációs politika elleni tüntetésen – írja a Die Welt. A békésnek indult szombati demonstráció hamar erőszakba torkollott, a résztvevők megbénították a forgalmat, és a rendőrökre is rátámadtak. A hatóságok könnygázzal és vízágyúkkal próbálták feloszlatni a tömeget.
Az ANP holland hírügynökség szerint kezdetben több ezer ember vett részt az eseményen. A tüntetők a menedékjogi szabályok szigorítását és megfizethetőbb lakhatást követeltek. A békés demonstráción akkor szabadultak el az indulatok, amikor a tüntetők egy csoportja – mintegy 1500 fő – felrohant az A12-es autópályára, ahol megbénították a forgalmat.
A rendőrség azonnal lezárta az útszakaszt, majd a tiltakozók a városközpontban vonultak, ahol betörték a 66-os Demokraták elnevezésű szociálliberális párt irodájának az ablakait.
A tüntetők egy rendőrautót is felgyújtottak, valamint kövekkel, üvegekkel és tűzijátékkal támadtak rá a rendőrökre.
A holland kormány és több párt is elítélte az erőszakos demonstrációt. Geert Wilders, a jobboldali-patrióta Szabadságpárt (PVV) vezetője szintén bírálta a rendőrök elleni támadásokat, valamint kemény fellépést sürgetett: „Az autópályák eltorlaszolása és a rendőrség elleni erőszak teljesen elfogadhatatlan” – tette hozzá a politikus.
A szombati zavargások hátterében a migrációs politika körüli heves viták állnak. Geert Wilders és pártja már régóta követeli, hogy „a valaha volt legszigorúbb menedékjogi törvényt” vezessék be Hollandiában. Habár a Szabadságpárt kormányzati szerephez jutott tavaly, a menekültpolitikai viták miatt idén júniusban bomlott fel a koalíció. Az új parlamenti választásokat október végére írták ki.
Hollandiában az utóbbi hónapokban több városban is hasonló megmozdulásokat tartottak a bevándorlók ellen. Szeptember elején a holland rendőrség egy kétszázfős demonstrációt oszlatott fel az Amszterdam melletti Uithoorn településen. Az emberek két, megépíteni tervezett menekültszállás ellen tiltakoztak, majd megpróbáltak behatolni a városházára. A polgármester és az alpolgármesterek hiába próbálták párbeszéddel megoldani a helyzetet, a rendőrség végül kénytelen volt gumibottal szétoszlatni a tömeget.

Laurent Nunez, Párizs rendőrfőnöke jelentette be kedden az X-en, hogy ma kora reggel disznófejeket fedeztek fel a városban található több mecset bejárata előtti közúton. Hozzátette: a nyomozást azonnal megindították, és mindent megtesznek, hogy megtalálják ezen aljas cselekmények elkövetőit.
Az AFP egy, az esethez közel álló forrástól értesült, hogy a disznófejeket Párizs, Seine-Saint-Denis és Hauts-de-Seine közútjain fedezték fel.

A szombat esti zavargásokban öt ember megsérült és egy főt letartóztattak – közölték a helyi hatóságok.
Ez az egyik legsúlyosabb ilyen jellegű incidens Spanyolországban az elmúlt évtizedekben.
Vasárnapra a helyzet nyugodtabbá vált, de kormányzati források szerint további letartóztatások várhatók.
A közösségi médiában közzétett videókon látható, ahogy szélsőjobboldali szimbólumokat viselő férfiak és marokkói zászlókat lengető migránsok tárgyakat dobálnak egymásra. A szombati erőszakos cselekmények több napos, alacsonyabb intenzitású zavargást követtek.
A feszültség akkor éleződött ki a helyi lakosok és a bevándorlók között, amikor szerdán az utcán megtámadtak egy idős férfit, aki sérüléseiből otthon lábadozik. A támadás okai tisztázatlanok, és eddig senkit sem tartóztattak le az ügyben.
Mariola Guevara, a központi kormány helyi képviselője a spanyol köztelevíziónak nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy vizsgálják a támadást. Elítélte a gyűlöletbeszédet és az erőszakra való uszítást, mivel szélsőjobboldali csoportok jelentek meg a városban, és közölte, hogy további fegyvereseket vezényelnek ki az erőszak kezelésére.

Ulf Kristersson svéd miniszterelnök úgy véli, hogy az országban az utóbbi időben tapasztalt erőszakos bűncselekmények hulláma a bevándorlással függ össze. Ezt a TV4 svéd tévécsatornának adott interjújában mondta, írta a Jevropejszka Pravda.
Kristersson azzal érvelt, hogy a bevándorlással szembeni intézkedéseknek keménynek kell maradniuk ahhoz, hogy megállítsuk a svédországi erőszakhullámot.
„Nagyon hosszú ideje nagyon magas a bevándorlás Svédországba, és most jelentősen megerősítettük az ellene irányuló intézkedéseket; nagyon szigorúnak kell maradniuk. Ha folyamatosan új emberek érkeznek és újabb bűncselekményeket követnek el, esélyünk sem lesz kezelni”, tette hozzá.
Példaként említette a törökországi gengsztercsoportok tevékenységét, amelyekkel együttműködést alakítottak ki a bűnözés elleni küzdelem érdekében.
„Minél jobban meg tudjuk állítani (a bűnözőket – szerk.) itt Svédországban, annál kisebb befolyásuk lesz azoknak, akik külföldről irányítanak (bűnözőket –szerk.) … Hírszerző és biztonsági szolgálataink intenzíven dolgoznak azon, hogy elérjék ezeket az embereket” – mondta a svéd miniszterelnök.
Január folyamán az országban több mint 30 robbanást és több halálos kimenetelű lövöldözést regisztráltak, amelyeket bandák okoztak, gyakran kiskorúak részvételével.

Az Egyesült Államok Bevándorlási és Vámhivatala (ICE) 956 külföldit tartóztatott le egy nap alatt, további 554-et pedig a bevándorlási hatóságok vettek őrizetbe – írta a Fox News.
Az illegális migránsok ellen intézkedtek tegnap az ország déli részén. Az ICE helyszíni irodái néhány letartóztatásról számoltak be, akiket már korábban megvádoltak törvénysértések elkövetése miatt, írta az LB. A Puerto Ricóban letartóztatottak közül ketten dominikai lakosok voltak. Egyiküket családon belüli erőszakkal, a másikkal ittas járművezetéssel vádolták.
Letartóztattak egy nicaraguai állampolgárt a nyugat-floridai Broward megyében. Fegyverrel elkövetett testi sértés, jogellenes fegyverviselés, lőfegyver használata közterületen, valamint tiltott járművezetés miatt emeltek vádat ellene.
„Az ICE Amerikát védi az Egyesült Államok bevándorlási törvényeinek betartatásával a nemzetbiztonság és a közbiztonság fenntartása érdekében”, biztosított a miami iroda.

Leo Varadkar úgy fogalmazott, olyan bűnözők okozták a késes támadás utáni felfordulást, akik tele vannak gyűlölettel és szeretnek fájdalmat okozni másoknak.
34 embert vett őrizetbe az ír rendőrség a csütörtök esti dublini zavargások után. Az ír fővárosban legalább százan randalíroztak fémrudakkal felfegyverkezve, arcukat eltakarva azután, hogy egy késes támadó öt embert megsebesített.
A randalírozók járműveket gyújtottak fel, üzleteket raboltak ki és összecsaptak a rendőrökkel. Leo Varadkar ír miniszterelnök úgy reagált, hogy a randalírozók szégyent hoztak Dublinra, Írországra, a családjukra és önmagukra.
„Ezek a bűnözők nem azért tették, amit tettek, mert szeretik Írországot, vagy mert meg akarták védeni az íreket. Azért tették ezt, mert tele vannak gyűlölettel. Szeretik az erőszakot, szeretik a káoszt, és szeretnek fájdalmat okozni másoknak”-mondta.
Az egy iskola közelében elkövetett késes támadásban egy tanár és három gyerek is megsérült. A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint egy ötéves kislány „nagyon súlyos állapotban van”. A rendőrség csak annyit közölt, hogy a támadó az ötvenes éveiben jár, és a nyomozás első megállapításai alapján kizárták a terrorista indítékot.
