Délkelet-Iránban ismeretlen támadók szombaton fegyverekkel és gránátokkal támadták egy bíróság épületét Zahedan városában, hat embert megöltek, köztük egy gyermeket, 20-an megsebesültek, számolt be az Ukrinform az AP hírügynökségre hivatkozva.
Az iráni állami média szerint a biztonsági erők válaszul megöltek három fegyverest a déli Szisztán és Beludzsisztán tartományban kitört összecsapásban. Az áldozatok kilétét nem hozták nyilvánosságra.
Megjegyezték, hogy a támadás Zahedan tartomány fővárosában történt.
A rendőrség és a biztonsági erők azonnal átvették az irányítást a helyszín felett a Teherántól 1130 kilométerre délkeletre fekvő városban.
A bűnüldöző szervek a Dzsais al-Adl szeparatista csoportot okolják a támadásért, amely Irán keleti Szisztán tartományának és Pakisztán délnyugati Beludzsisztán tartományának függetlenségéért küzd.
Az Afganisztánnal és Pakisztánnal határos Szisztán és Beludzsisztán tartományban időnként összecsapásokra kerül sor fegyveresek, kábítószer-kereskedők és iráni biztonsági erők között.
Októberben egy iráni rendőrkonvoj elleni támadásban legalább 10 rendőr meghalt. A tartomány Irán egyik legkevésbé fejlett része.
