Házkutatást tartottak az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) munkatársai szerdán Jurij Dudkin ismert ukrán biztonságpolitikai szakértő-újságírónál, majd hazaárulás címén meggyanúsították, és őrizetbe vették – adta hírül a korrespondent.net hírportál az SZBU sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a nyugalmazott katonatiszt-újságíró, a múlt héten betiltott ellenzéki 112, NewsOne és ZIK televíziós csatornák biztonságpolitikai szakértője, a titkosszolgálati nyomozás adatai szerint bűnrészes az orosz titkosszolgálatok érdekében végzett ukránellenes aknamunkában. Az SZBU állítása szerint Dudkin orosz tartótisztjeinek utasítására ellenséges hálózatot hozott létre a közösségi médiában és a YouTube-on, valamint bloggereket szervezett be Oroszország pénzügyi támogatásával. Az ukrán nemzetbiztonsági hivatal szerint Dudkin az általa létrehozott médiaforrásokon orosz televíziók műsorait és weboldalak tartalmait népszerűsítette.
Az SZBU azt is felrótta az ellenzéki újságírónak, hogy oroszországi televíziók politikai talkshow-műsoraiban szerepelt, és ezért rendszeresen pénzt is kapott. A szolgálat jelezte továbbá, hogy az általa elvégzett szakértői vizsgálat bizonyította, Jurij Dudkin aknamunkát folytatott az ukrán nemzetbiztonság aláásása érdekében.
