Bombariadó volt Bosznia-Hercegovina és Horvátország több intézményében is, köztük egy klinikát és több bíróságot is ki kellett üríteni. Robbanóanyagot sehol sem találtak.
A Klix.ba boszniai hírportál beszámolója szerint bombariadót jelentett a szarajevói bíróság, a Banja Luka-i egyetemi klinika, valamint a Bosznia-hercegovinai Föderáció Legfelsőbb Bírósága. A Jutarnji List című zágrábi napilap szerint pedig a spliti bíróságot kellett kiüríteni, mert állítólag robbanóanyagot helyeztek el benne.
A nyugat-balkáni országokban – köztük Szerbiában, Montenegróban, Bosznia-Hercegovinában és Horvátországban – az elmúlt hetekben több száz bejelentés érkezett, melyben bombaveszélyre hívták fel a figyelmet. Az állítólagos célpontok legtöbb esetben iskolák, közintézmények és idegenforgalmi látványosságok voltak.
A fenyegetések csak Szerbiában húsz külföldi email címről érkeztek, de országos címekről is érkezett be hamis riasztás.

Elmaradt a tanítás szerdán az összes montenegrói általános és középiskolában, valamint bezárták az óvodákat is azt követően, hogy 41 iskola kapott elektronikus levelet arról, hogy robbanószerkezetet helyeztek el az épületében – közölte a montenegrói közszolgálati televízió.
Az oktatásügyi minisztérium, valamint a belügyi tárca közösen döntött az iskolák és óvodák bezárásáról, az ügy vizsgálata még folyik, egyelőre egyik érintett iskolában sem találtak semmilyen robbanószerkezetet.
Az iskoláknak küldött elektronikus levelekben az állt, hogy az iskola területén számos bombát helyeztek el.
Mindig is a bosszúról álmodtunk. Most mindent megbosszulunk, eljövünk az iskolába. Mindenkit megölünk. Senki sem marad életben. Az egész város vérezni fog – írták a levélben.
A rendőrség a feladó IP-címe alapján igyekszik felderíteni, ki küldhette az e-maileket.
Milo Djukanovic államfő és Dritan Abazovic megbízott miniszterelnök szerint a fenyegetések az ország destabilizálására irányulnak.
A feladók azt szeretnék elérni, hogy bizonytalanság uralkodjon az országban a kormány megalakítása és a nyári turisztikai szezon megkezdése előtt.
Dritan Abazovic szerint nincs ok pánikra, az állampolgárok biztonságban érezhetik magukat.
