A mentést végzők befejezték a keresést túlélők, illetve holttestek után a szerdai helikopterbaleset helyszínén, a Kijevhez közeli Brovariban – közölte délután az Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata (DSZNSZ).
A katasztrófavédelem által megerősített adatok szerint a balesetben 14-en haltak meg, köztük egy gyermek, valamint 25-en sérültek meg, beleértve 11 gyermeket.
A helikopter a belügyi delegációval fedélzetén szerda reggel zuhant le Brovariban, egy óvoda közelében. A becsapódás következtében tűz ütött ki a helyszínen. A balesetben életét vesztette a helikopteren utazó Denisz Monasztirszkij belügyminiszter, valamint első helyettese, Jevhenyij Jenyin és a tárca államtitkára, Jurij Lubkovics, továbbá három pilóta és még három, a minisztérium alkalmazásában lévő személy.
Az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) megindította az eljárást a szerencsétlenség okainak feltárására. Három alapvető verziót vizsgálnak: a repülési szabályok megsértését, műszaki meghibásodást és szándékos cselekményt.
Denisz Smihal miniszterelnök a Telegramon arról tájékoztatott, hogy a kormány a belügyminiszteri feladatok ellátását átmenetileg Ihor Klimenko országos rendőrfőnökre bízta.

A Belügyminisztérium vezetősége, akik a Brovariban lezuhant helikopteren tartózkodtak, a frontvonalra tartottak.
A hírt Kirilo Timosenko, az Elnöki Hivatal helyettes vezetője közölte egy sajtótájékoztatón.
„Természetesen a cél munkaügyi volt. A frontvonalra tartottak, ahol harci cselekmények folynak. Oda utazott a belügyminiszter. Később több részletet is közlünk a történtek kapcsán” – jelentette ki.
Mint korábban beszámoltunk róla, ma reggel szörnyű baleset történt Kijev megyében, Brovariban. Egy helikopter egy óvodánál zuhant le. Ihor Klimenko, a Nemzeti Rendőrség vezetője azt nyilatkozta, hogy a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának (DSZNSZ) helikoptere zuhant le. A baleset következtében az ukrán Belügyminisztérium egész vezetősége, a történtekben gyerekek is életüket vesztették.
