Abdelmadjid Abderahim egészségügyi miniszter azt mondta, több sérült állapota súlyos.
Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno elnök vizsgálatot jelentette be a robbanások ügyében.
Abderaman Koulamallah külügyminiszter hozzátette, hogy az első vizsgálati eredmények szerint nem történt bűncselekmény.
Beszámolt arról is, hogy számos katonának sikerült elhagynia a helyszínt, és a fegyverek, robbanóanyagok egy részét is időben kimenekítették.
Mahamat Assileck Halata területfejlesztési miniszter közölte, hogy a tüzet körülhatárolták, és a helyzetet már „ellenőrzés alatt tartják”.
A robbanások két órán át hallatszottak az egész fővárosban, és helyszíni jelentések szerint még több kilométerre a helyszíntől is beleremegtek a házak.

Közúti balesetben életét vesztette húsz ember Csádban, amikor helyi idő szerint csütörtök este Oum-Hadjer város közelében egy utasokkal teli autóbusz egy műszaki okok miatt az úttest szélén veszteglő teherautónak ütközött – közölte pénteken az afrikai ország kormánya.
A közép-afrikai ország fővárosából, N’Djamenából a keleti Abeche városába tartó buszon összesen harmincegyen tartózkodtak. Az első vizsgálati adatok szerint a közlekedésbiztonsági szabályok megszegése, azaz a jármű túlterheltsége, a megengedett sebesség túllépése és a buszsofőr fáradtságából fakadó figyelmetlensége együttesen vezettek a tragédiához.

A rendőrség könnygázt vetett be, a tüntetésen az egyik szervező közlése szerint legkevesebben heten meghaltak és nagyon sokan megsérültek.
„A székházunkat feldúlták, majd felgyújtották ma reggel” – nyilatkozott a kormánypárt, a Nemzeti Szövetség a Demokráciáért és Megújulásért párt alelnöke a Reuters hírügynökségnek.
A demokratikus változásokat követelő tüntetők már kora reggel égő gumiabroncsokkal torlaszolták el az utakat a főváros, N’Djamena több pontján, annak ellenére, hogy a kormány előzetesen betiltotta a megmozdulást.

Földművesek és állattenyésztők csaptak össze egymással a héten Csád déli részén, legkevesebben 35 ember meghalt, köztük egy katona is – közölték szerdán csádi hivatalos források.
Beszámolók szerint hétfőn ismeretlenek támadtak a helyi földművesekre, akik a környékbeli állattenyésztőket gyanúsítottak az elkövetéssel, és bosszúból lerohanták a Salamat tartományban felállított táborukat.
A térségbe biztonsági erőket küldtek, a nyugalom a hivatalos tájékoztatás szerint helyreállt.
A tartomány vezetője, Mara Maad szerint a földműveseket útonállók támadták meg, az összecsapások nem a termőföldek letaposása miatt robbantak ki.
Gyakoriak az összecsapások
Az afrikai ország déli részén gyakoriak az erőszakos incidensek a jórészt arab származású, nomád állattenyésztők és a földművesek közt, akik azzal vádolják az előbbieket, hogy kifosztják a földjeiket, és elhajtják a jószágaikat.
Novemberben legalább 22 embert öltek meg egy hasonló összecsapásban az ugyancsak délen fekvő Kabbia körzetben, miután állatok tarolták le a termőföldet, törzsi konfliktusokban pedig decemberben és januárban csaknem 50-en vesztették életüket.

A csádi biztonsági erők szerdán az ország északnyugati, Líbiával határos részén legalább 27, dzsihadistának hitt illegális bányásszal végeztek.
„Hajnali négy óra volt, és nem tudhattuk pontosan, hogy kivel állunk szemben. Megpróbáltak elmenekülni, ezért azt hittük, hogy dzsihadistákról van szó, akiket bekerítettünk, hogy semlegesítsük őket” – mondta egy neve elhallgatását kérő katonai vezető az EFE spanyol hírügynökségnek.
„Az utólagos ellenőrzést követően jöttünk rá, hogy aranybányászok voltak” – tette hozzá.
Az incidens az aranyban gazdag Tibesti tartományban történt. Az illegális bányászok közül tizenegyen líbiaiak, tízen csádiak, hatan szudániak voltak. A térség nagy aranykészletei vonzzák a különböző milíciákat és csempészeket, rendszeresek az összecsapások az illegális aranybányászok és a biztonsági erők között.
Azem Bermandoa, a hadsereg szóvivője arról számolt be, hogy több mint egy éve katonák járőröznek a térségben, és nem az illegális bányászat miatt, hanem, hogy megelőzzék a dzsihadisták beszivárgását.
„Olyan területről van szó, ahová tilos a belépés, ezért azokat, akik az aranybányászat miatt bemerészkednek, (dzsihadistaként) fogják kezelni” – jelentette ki.
