Meghalt a kaliforniai rapper, Drakeo the Ruler. A Los Angeles-i Once Upon a Time fesztiválon szúrták nyakon még szombat este, ahol ő is a fellépők közt szerepelt volna.
Szombat este egy kisebb csoport vett körbe egy férfit, verekedés tört ki, a konfliktus közben pedig valaki nyakon szúrta az illetőt. Később kiderült, hogy a válságos állapotban kórházba szállított személy az egyik fellépő, Drakeo the Ruler volt. A népszerű rappert a színpadra lépés előtt támadták meg, de a kórházban már nem tudták megmenteni az életét.
A rendezvényen többek közt Snoop Dogg, The Game, YG lettek volna a főfellépők, de a koncerteket a tragédia után nem sokkal felfüggesztették.
A rendőrség jelenleg is nyomoz és vizsgálják a késelés körülményeit, megpróbálnak mindenkit kihallgatni, akik ott voltak a backstage-ben, vagy a közelében.
