Július 3-án 23:48-kor érkezett bejelentés a tűzoltósághoz, hogy tűz keletkezett egy lakóházban Dubina faluban, a Hegy utcában. A tűzről a ház lakói értesítették a tűzoltókat.
A tűzoltók kiérkezésekor a lángok már az épület tetejét és a második emeletet is elérték. A tűzoltóknak sikerült a tüzet 01:00 órára lokalizálniuk, majd 02:00-ra teljesen eloltaniuk, a tűz 90 négyzetméteren pusztított. A lángok az épület tetőszerkezetének egy részét, a második emeleti szobákat és a háztartási tárgyakat érintették, de a szakemberek megakadályozták, hogy a tűz átterjedjen az első emeletre, valamint a tető és a második emelet egyes részeire.
A tűz okát és következményeit vizsgálják a hatóságok.
