Az Állami Nyomozó Iroda (DBR) munkatársai a Mikolajiv megyei elmegyógyintézetben orvosokból álló bűnszövetkezetet számoltak fel, amelynek tagjai hatalmas pénzeket kaszáltak azzal, hogy hamis igazolásokat állítottak ki katonai szolgálatra való alkalmatlanságról a mozgósítás elkerüléséhez hadköteles férfiaknak – adta hírül szerdán az rbc.ua hírportál a DBR sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a nyomozás megállapította, hogy a korrupciós üzletet az elmegyógyintézet igazgatója szervezte, a szükséges igazolásokat előállító beosztott orvosok, valamint egy rendőr bevonásával, ki az ügyfeleket kereste. Az elmebetegségek meglétéről kiállított fiktív orvosi igazolásokat, amelyek később a területi hadkiegészítő parancsnokságok nyilvántartásából való kizárás alapjául szolgáltak, 1,5 ezer dollárért árusították. A bűnszervezet havonta több mint 100 000 dollár értékben adott el ilyen fiktív orvosi dokumentumokat. A DBR munkatársai a hamis orvosi igazolások átadása és azok ellenértékének átvétele közben fogták el az ügyféltoborzó rendőrtisztet.
A korrupciós ügyletekben érintett szakembereket akár 10 évig terjedhető szabadságvesztésre ítélhetik teljes vagyonelkobzással. A nyomozók az érintettek munkahelyén és lakóhelyén tartott házkutatások során a jogellenes tevékenység tényét igazoló iratokat és kommunikációs eszközöket foglaltak le. A korrupciós rendszer többi résztvevőjét is leleplezték, akik olyan orvosok, akik közvetlenül állították ki a fiktív igazolásokat.

Az oszakai katasztrófának 27 sérültje is van, köztük a tüzet feltehetőleg okozó 61 éves férfi, akinek az állapota súlyos. A halálos áldozat azonosítása folyamatban van, és könnyen lehet, hogy az intézet igazgatója is közöttük van, mert egyelőre nem találják.
Az áldozatok 20 és 60 év közöttiek voltak. Az elkövető valamilyen gyúlékony folyadékot használt a tűz okozásához – közölték szombaton a nyomozók.
