Lesből, erdőn át vezető úton vették tűz alá a merénylők Szerhij Sefir, Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök főtanácsadója (és gyermekkori barátja – V.B.) szolgálati autóját – közölte David Arahamija, a Nép Szolgája párt parlamenti frakcióvezetője szerdán, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Arahamija a Sefir elleni merényletkísérletet kommentálva elmondta, hogy amikor lőni kezdtek az erdőben lévő leshelyről, a gépkocsivezető teljes gázt adott. Az út ott erdőn keresztül vezet, gyakorlatilag az erdőben volt a leshely – tette hozzá.
A frakcióvezető jelezte, hogy Sefir az utóbbi időben aktívan dolgozott az oligarchátlanítási törvény tervezetén. Azonban ez kizárólag politikai értékelés – mutatott rá. Mint megjegyezte, Sefirnek soha nem voltak testőrei, és nem is észlelte, hogy követték volna.
Mint röviddel ezelőtt hírportálunk beszámolt róla, ismeretlenek tüzet nyitottak a Szerhij Sefirt, Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök főtanácsadóját szállító szolgálati autóra szerdán 10:00 óra tájban a Kijevhez közeli Liszniki település határában, a tisztségviselő sértetlen maradt, a gépkocsi vezetőjét kórházba szállították.
A gépkocsit 10 golyó találta el, a sofőrt lőtt sebekkel kórházba szállították. A rendőrség hajtóvadászatot indított a tettesek kézre kerítésére. A hatóság mindenkit arra kér, hogy ha tud valamit a merényletkísérletről, azonnal jelentse a rendőrség 102-es hívószámán. A tettesek utáni nyomozásba bekapcsolódott az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) is.
Irina Venediktova legfőbb ügyész Facebook-oldalán közölte, hogy a Szerhij Sefir autója elleni támadást két vagy több személy elleni gyilkossági kísérletnek minősítették, és megindították az ügyben a büntetőeljárást a büntetőtörvénykönyv 115. cikkelye alapján.
