Tízezrek tüntettek előrehozott választásokat és Pedro Sánchez miniszterelnök lemondását követelve a spanyol fővárosban vasárnap.
A Platform az Alkotmányos Spanyolországért elnevezésű jobboldali civil tömörülés által rendezett eseményen a hatóságok szerint 25 ezren, a szervezők szerint 400 ezren vettek részt, akik spanyol nemzeti zászlókkal és transzparensekkel vonultak fel a város egyik központi terén.
„Az egységért, méltóságért, jogért és szabadságért. Általános választásokat most!” – jelmondattal meghirdetett tüntetésen felolvasott kiáltvány szerint tiltakoznak a „demokrácia romlása”, a miniszterelnök környezetét „körülvevő korrupció”, valamint olyan intézkedések ellen, amelyek a parlamenti támogatás megszerzése érdekében „aláássák a területi egyenlőséget”.
Utóbbira példaként hangzott el a szeparatista katalán politikusok és aktivisták számára közkegyelmet biztosító amnesztiatörvény, amelyet erkölcstelennek és alkotmányellenesnek nevezett a szöveget felolvasó szónok.
Santiago Abascal, a Vox elnöke szerint Pedro Sáncheznek szüksége van a hatalomra ahhoz, hogy megvédje magát az igazságszolgáltatástól, és elkerülje a korrupció miatti ítéletet. Eltávolítása azért nehéz, mert ennek érdekében bármilyen eszközt hajlandó bevetni – tette hozzá.
Mint mondta, pártja támogatna egy, a kormányfő leváltására irányuló bizalmatlansági indítványt a parlamentben, de csak akkor, ha az előrehozott választásokkal is járna.
Carmen Fúnez, a konzervatív Néppárt (PP) szervezeti titkárhelyettese hangsúlyozta: a kormány retteg a független igazságszolgáltatástól, ezért nem tesz mást, mint „üldözi azokat a bírákat”, akik vizsgálják környezetét.
Eközben pedig elfeledkezik a közszolgáltatásokról és a spanyolok mindennapi életét befolyásoló ügyekről – jegyezte meg.
„Ez a helyzet rendkívül kényes és összetett, és csak úgy tudjuk megoldani, ha hangot adunk a demokráciának és a spanyoloknak” – fogalmazott a politikus.

Nyugalmazott katonatisztek vezetésével tiltakozók rohamozták meg a libanoni külügyminisztérium épületét Bejrútban, melyet kikiáltottak a „forradalom főhadiszállásának” – írja a Magyar Nemzet.
A tévében élőben közvetített támadást akkor hajtották végre, amikor a biztonsági erők nagy erőkkel vonultak fel a belvárosban, ahol több ezer tiltakozó követelte a politikai elit távozását. Az ottani összecsapásoknak a libanoni vöröskereszt szerint mintegy 130 sebesültje van.
A Reuters hírügynökség jelentése szerint több tucat tiltakozónak sikerült behatolni a külügyminisztérium épületébe, ahol a kormány és a politikai elit elleni jelszavakat skandáltak, és elégették Michel Aun államfő portréját. Az épület bejáratnál hatalmas transzparenst feszítettek ki, melyen az áll, hogy Bejrút a forradalom fővárosa.
„Itt kitartunk. Felszólítunk minden libanonit, hogy foglalják el az összes minisztériumot” – kiabálta a hangosbeszélőbe egy tiltakozó az épületnél.
Ezrek követelték a politikai elit távozását Libanonban
Több ezer ember gyűlt össze szombaton Bejrút belvárosában, hogy az általuk hanyagnak, korruptnak és alkalmatlannak tartott politikai elit távozását követeljék a kedden a kikötőben bekövetkezett hatalmas robbanás miatt.
„Bosszút! Bosszút! Vesszen a rezsim!” – skandálta a tömeg az AFP francia hírügynökség helyszíni jelentése szerint. A tiltakozást a szervezők az „Ítélet napja” címszóval hirdették meg, a libanoni közösségi médiában pedig a tüntetésekkel kapcsolatban a leggyakoribb kifejezés, amelyet a tiltakozók használnak az, hogy „Akasszátok fel őket!”.
A rohamrendőrség könnygázt vetett be a tiltakozók egy fiatal csoportja ellen, akik kövekkel és botokkal dobálták meg a rendőröket, és megpróbáltak áthatolni azon a kordonon, amellyel a rendőrség a parlamenthez vezető utat lezárta. A tömeg nagy része azonban az AFP szerint békés volt.
Nem sokkal korábban találkozott Michel Aun libanoni elnökkel, Haszan Diáb kormányfővel és Nabih Berri parlamenti elnökkel Charles Michel, az Európai Tanács elnöke. A politikus a Twitteren azt írta, hogy kifejezte az európaiak szolidaritását a libanoni néppel, egyben világossá tette, hogy a libanoni politikai erőknek együtt kell működniük egymással a közjó érdekében, és reformokat kell végrehajtaniuk.
Libanon már a keddi robbanás előtt is hónapokon át forrongott. 2019 ősze óta hatalmas tüntetések voltak országszerte, az ország gazdasága és a libanoni font értéke mélyrepülésbe kezdett, és a tömegek követelték az általuk a válságért felelősnek tartott politikai elit távozását.
Kedden hatalmas robbanás rázta meg a libanoni fővárost. Több mint 2700 tonna, évek óta a kikötőben tárolt ammónium-nitrát robbant fel, ami miatt legalább 150 ember meghalt, mintegy hatezren megsérültek és százezrek otthona vált lakhatatlanná Bejrútban.
A detonációt követően kiderült, hogy illetékesek éveken át rendszeresen figyelmeztették a hatóságokat, hogy a hatalmas mennyiségű ammónium-nitrát kikötői tárolása veszélyt jelent, de végül senki nem tett semmit, hogy a vegyszert elszállítsák a raktárból. Ezt követően egymásra mutogatás kezdődött, és a hatóságok 19 embert őrizetbe vettek, köztük a bejrúti kikötő és a vámhivatal vezetőjét.
Előrehozott választásokat javasol a libanoni miniszterelnök
Előrehozott parlament választások kiírását javasolta szombaton Haszan Diáb libanoni kormányfő, miután több ezer ember követelte Bejrút belvárosában a kormány és a politikai elit távozását a bejrúti kikötőben kedden bekövetkezett pusztító erejű robbanást követően.
„Előrehozott választások nélkül nem tudunk kilábalni ebből a válságból” – olvasta fel közleményét a libanoni kormányfő. Diáb hozzátette, hogy nem ő a felelős az ország hónapok óta tartó gazdasági és politikai válságáért. Elmondta azt is, hogy még két hónapon át kész hivatalban maradni, amíg a politikai erők megállapodnak az előrehozott választások kiírásáról.
