A helyi média szerint az utasok között négy thaiföldi és öt kínai volt, köztük két gyermek, egy 12 és egy 13 éves.
Több mint 300 katonát és önkéntest vetettek be az eltűntek keresésére, a hatóságok pedig vizsgálatot indítottak a baleset okainak felderítésére.
A repülőgép egyes részeit megtalálták, de a heves esőzés hátráltatja a keresést.
„Nem áll szándékunkban megállni, amíg meg nem találjuk az eltűnt személyeket, még akkor sem, ha egyes területeket víz lepi” – tette hozzá a kormányzó.
