A kórházba szállításkor a gyermek állapota nagyon súlyos volt. A kisfiút több napig lélegeztetőgéppel tartották életben.
Odesszában megmentették egy 11 hónapos kisgyermek életét, aki beleesett egy emésztőgödörbe. A hírt a megyei katonai adminisztráció közölte július 6-án.
Az eset július 1-jén történt Biljajivka városban. A gyerek édesanyja az udvaron tartózkodott a történtekkor, azt, hogy mennyi időt töltött a gyerek az emésztőgödörben, nem tudni. Az édesanya azonnal értesítette a mentőszolgálatot, amikor megtalálta a gyermeket. A kisfiút tudatzavarral, légzési nehézséggel és cianózissal szállították kórházba.
Az orvosok elmondása szerint a gyerek állapota stabilizálódott, már aktív, édesanyjával továbbra is kórházi megfigyelés alatt van.
