Tizenhárom kubai katona eltűnt egy holguini fegyverraktárban történt robbanást követően – írta meg Devdiscourse. Tizenhárom kubai katona eltűnt, miután robbanássorozat rázott meg egy fegyver- és lőszerraktárt Holguinban, Kuba egyik keleti tartományában – jelentették be a kubai fegyveres erők. A robbanások kedden kora reggel történtek, és a Havannától 450 mérföldre délre és keletre fekvő Melones vidéki települést érintették.
A robbanások eredetét jelenleg vizsgálják, az első jelentések szerint egy közeli építkezésen keletkezett tűz okozta.
Az eltűntek között négy tiszt és kilenc katona van a kubai hadsereg jelentése szerint. A közösségi médiában terjedő videókon nagy füst- és lángcsóvák láthatók a Melones melletti erdős területek felett.
A katonák és a helyi rendőrség biztosította a helyszínre vezető utakat, miközben a mentőcsapatok és a tűzoltók dolgoztak a tűz megfékezésén. Az evakuálást is végrehajtották, 361 lakost költöztettek biztonságosabb területekre a robbanást követően.

A Berliner Zeitung péntek kora délután azt írta, hogy egy lichterfeldei fémtechnológiai cég üzemében csaptak fel a lángok, amely fegyverekhez is gyárt alkotóelemeket. Sőt, sajtóinformációk szerint a gyárból légvédelmi rendszereket, az IRIS-T-t szállítanak Ukrajnának az oroszok elleni háborúhoz.
Talán ez az oka, hogy az orosz sajtó is kiemelten kezeli az eseményeket és meglepő módon sokszor hamarabb számolt be a történésekről, mint a német lapok.
A berlini gyárban vegyi anyagokat is tároltak, kénsavat és réz-cianidot. A Diehl Metal Applications – ennek a társaságnak a berlini bázisa gyulladt ki, de ugyanezen a címen található a Diehl Defense GmbH fióktelepe is – saját galvanizáló rendszert üzemeltet a fémfelületek kezelésére. A tűz okáról egyelőre nincs információ. Személyi sérülés azonban jelen állás szerint nem történt, viszont több detonáció is bekövetkezett.
Mérgező füst Berlin felett
A Bild arról számolt be, hogy fennáll a veszélye, hogy a tűz következtében hidrogén-cianid képződik és az a füsttel együtt a levegőbe emelkedik. A német hatóságok, így a tűzoltóság is figyelmeztetést adott ki és arra szólította fel a lakosságot (elsődlegesen a környéken élőket), hogy az ablakokat és ajtókat tartsák zárva, a klímát és szelőztető rendszereket ne használják.
A szél a füstöt Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Spandau és Reinickendorftól nyugatra is eljuttatja.

Felvételek alapján az üzemben robbanás, majd tűz keletkezett, hivatalos orosz források szerint nincs sérültje az incidensnek. Azt nem tudni, pontosan mi robbant fel, és azt sem, hogy mekkora a kár.
Csekély az esély arra, hogy az üzem szándékos támadás miatt sérült meg. Szolikamszk körülbelül 1000 kilométerre Moszkvától található, a Permben.
A gyárat a Rosztyek hadiipari konszern üzemelteti, ez Oroszország egyik legnagyobb lőszer-, lőpor- és robbanószer-gyártóüzeme.
