Szombat délután az oklahomai Tulsában több száz fős, fekete és khaki színű ruhát viselő, főként feketékből álló tömeg vonult végig jóvátételt követelve a 1921-es tulsai mészárlásért. A tüntetők fegyveres, félkatonai ruhát viseltek.
Az RT tudósítása szerint a Black Panthers és különböző fegyveres klubok tagjai vettek részt a tegnapi demonstráción.
Az időzítés nem véletlen, hiszen éppen száz éve, 1921. május 30-án történt a tulsai mészárlás, aminek során 30-100 fekete ember vesztette életét.
A Tulsa északi részén vonuló tömeg elérkezettnek látta az időt arra, hogy jóvátételt követeljen a száz évvel ezelőtt történtekért. Menetelés közben olyan rigmusokat skandáltak, mint hogy „Kinek az utcái? A mi utcáink!” és „Fekete hatalom”. A tüntetők egy nagy transzparenst is kifeszítettek, amin az állt, hogy „jóvátételt most”.
