A The Hindu című indiai lap szerint a fekete dobozok adatainak letöltése és elemzése négy-öt napig is eltarthat. Már több nemzetközi nyomozó hatóság képviselői is megérkeztek Ahmedabadba, hogy segítsenek az illetékes indiai szervezetnek (AAIB) a baleset kivizsgálásában.
A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner típusú repülőgép csütörtökön 242 utassal és személyzettel a fedélzetén Ahmedabadból a londoni Gatwick repülőtérre indult, de közvetlenül a felszállás után balesetet szenvedett. A jelenlegi információk szerint a gép alig 200 méteres magasságig emelkedett, miközben a pilóta azt jelentette, hogy veszítenek a tolóerőből.
A balesetben legkevesebb 279 ember életét vesztette. A fedélzeten tartózkodók mellett – akik közül csak egyetlen ember élte túl a katasztrófát – legalább 38 ember halt meg a földön, amikor a repülőgép egy lakóövezetbe zuhant.
A baleset oka egyelőre tisztázatlan. A nyomozók a repülési adatrögzítők kiértékeléséből remélnek eredményeket. Az indiai repülőgép-balesetek kivizsgálásával foglalkozó hatóság (AAIB) alapos vizsgálatot indított – közölte Modi tanácsadója, P.K. Mishra. Az utasok többsége vendégmunkásként dolgozott az Egyesült Arab Emírségekben, de a koronavírus miatt elvesztette munkáját, és az utazási korlátozások miatt eddig nem tudott hazatérni.
A beszámolók szerint a Boeing 737-es sokáig körözött a repülőtér felett. Két sikertelen leszállási kísérlet után a pilóták újra megpróbálták a landolást. A repülő azonban nem tudott megállni a leszállópálya végén, és lecsúszott a meredek lejtőn.
A domboldal alján a gép törzse kettétört, a jármű orra összeroncsolódott. A repülő elején ülők közül többen a helyszínen életüket vesztették. Köztük a kapitány is, aki a vizsgálat szerint sokkal nagyobb tragédiát akadályozott meg azzal, hogy időben leállította a hajtóműveket, így nem gyulladt ki a roncs. A mentők több mint 120 sérültet szállítottak kórházba, két tucatnyi embert válságos állapotban.
Szombaton a roncsok között a hatóságok megtalálták mindkét feketedobozt: a fedélzeti hangrögzítő és a repülési adatokat összesítő szerkezetet is. A vizsgálat most elsősorban arra a kérdésre keresi a választ, miért futott le a pályáról a repülőgép.
A feltételezések szerint a szakadó monszuneső is közrejátszott, a polgári repülésért felelős miniszter ugyanakkor óva intett az elhamarkodott következtetésektől.
„A vizsgálathoz szükséges összes adat ott van a feketedobozokban. Biztos vagyok benne, hogy minden tényezőt hamarosan megismerünk. A cél az, hogy teljesen megértsük az esetet, hogy soha ne következhessen be hasonló tragédia” – mondta Hardíp Szing Puri, indiai légi közlekedési miniszter.
Az már az első nyilatkozatok alapján valószínűsíthető, hogy a balesethez hozzájárult a repülőtér szokatlan kiépítése.
A szintkülönbségek miatt ugyanis a kifutópálya egy emelvényen, 10 méterrel a környező területek szintje fölött halad.
A polgári repülési hatóság már tavaly júliusban jelezte a reptér üzemeltetőinek a kritikus biztonsági hiányosságokat. Indiai sajtóértesülés szerint azonban a szaktárca repülésbiztonsági bizottságának szakértője már kilenc évvel ezelőtt figyelmeztetett a megemelt kifutópályát alkalmazó repülőterek veszélyeire
A jelentés azt követően készült, hogy 2010 májusában túlfutott a leszállópályán és kigyulladt egy gép a délnyugat-indiai Mangaluru repülőterén. A tragédiában 158-an vesztették életüket. A vizsgálati anyag készítője szombaton az egyik legnagyobb indiai napilapnak azt mondta: mivel a veszélyek régóta ismertek, a mostani szerencsétlenség felelőseit emberölés miatt kellene bíróság elé állítani.

Szerdán Irán újra bejelentette, hogy mégis Ukrajnába küldi elemzésre a tévedésből lelőtt ukrán utasszállító feketedobozait, nem pedig a BEA francia légiforgalmi biztonsági hivatalhoz. Egy héttel ezelőtt még azt közölte Teherán, hogy Párizsba küldik őket, ha a szerencsétlenség kivizsgálásában részt venni jogosult államok hozzájárulnak ehhez.
Az Ukrán Nemzetközi Légitársaság Teheránból Kijevbe induló Boeing 737-es gépe január 8-án, nem sokkal a felszállás után zuhant le. Az iráni hatóságok először balesetről beszéltek, majd elismerték, hogy a Forradalmi Gárda légvédelme lőtte le a gépet tévedésből egy Föld-levegő rakétával. A repülőn lévő 176 emberből senki sem élte túl a tragédiát. A járaton 55 kanadai-iráni állampolgár utazott.
Korábban Kanada nyomást gyakorolt Teheránra, hogy küldje a feketedobozokat Párizsba. Irán előzőleg megtagadta, hogy az ukrán utasszállító repülési adatait rögzítő berendezéseket átadja.

Márciusban Irán azt közölte az ENSZ szakosított légügyi ügynökségével, a Nemzetközi Polgári Repülési Szervezettel (ICAO), hogy Ukrajnába küldi a feketedobozokat. A múlt héten azonban egy iráni tisztviselő az ICAO kormányzótanácsának videokonferenciáján bejelentette, hogy Teherán a súlyosan megrongálódott elektronikus eszközöket a BEA-hoz küldi. Irán a részes államok hozzájárulásától teszi függővé döntését.
Van már szoftverük
Szerdán viszont Mohammad Eszlami, az infrastruktúráért felelős miniszter azt mondta: Ukrajna saját közlése szerint már rendelkezik a feketedobozok adatainak olvasásához szükséges szoftverrel, mint fogalmazott, „az amerikaiak láthatták el vele”, és csak abban az esetben küldik mégis őket Párizsba, ha a vizsgálat nem sikerülne Ukrajnában.
A nemzetközi szabályok szerint Iránnak joga van a vizsgálat felügyeletéhez, az Egyesült Államok azáltal részes a vizsgálatban, hogy a gépet ott gyártották, míg Ukrajna azért, mert az utasszállító üzemeltetője volt. Kanada pedig úgy válik az eset részesévé, hogy állampolgárai is meghaltak a szerencsétlenségben.
