Gyors lefolyású betegségben meghalt egy 45 éves férfi, aki a Boeing egyik beszállítójának, a Spirit AeroSystems gyártási hibáira hívta fel a figyelmet. Két hónappal korábban egy másik szivárogtatót is holtan találtak a hatóságok. A férfi halála előtt szintén perben állt a repülőgyártóval.
Meghalt egy Boeing-szivárogtatóként ismert férfi, aki azzal vádolta meg a cég egyik beszállítóját, hogy figyelmen kívül hagyta a Boeing 737 MAX utasszállító repülőgép gyártási hibáit – írja az Economx.hu.
Joshua Dean a Spirit AeroSystemsnek dolgozott, majd azt állította, hogy bosszúból elbocsátották, miután felhívta a figyelmet a cég kansasi üzemében uralkodó repülésbiztonsági problémákra. A Boeing beszállítója, a Spirit AeroSystems ellen azóta nyomoznak, hogy kiderült, felelősségük volt az Alaska Airlines 1282-es járatából menet közben kiszakadt ajtólap építésében.
A férfi vallomást tett a cég ellen indított részvényesi perben, emellett a Szövetségi Légiközlekedési Hatóságnál is panaszt nyújtott be. Állítása szerint súlyos minőségi hiányosságok vannak a Spirit AeroSystems gyártóüzemében.
A 45 éves férfi teljesen egészséges volt, majd kedden egy gyors lefolyású rejtélyes fertőzésben meghalt.
Dean édesanyja a közösségi médiában írt arról, hogy fia egy MRSA-fertőzés miatt tüdőgyulladást és agyvérzést kapott. A tragédia csaknem két hónappal azután történt, hogy a Boeing egy másik szivárogtatóját, John Barnettet is holtan találták. A 62 éves férfi szintén pereskedett a Boeing ellen. Állítása szerint szigorú megtorlást kapott, miután feltárta a Boeing 787 Dreamliner biztonsági problémáit. A dél-karolinai hatóságok szerint a férfi a tárgyalás után hirtelen öngyilkos lett.
Sorozatos problémákat találnak a Boeingeknél
A cég járataival az elmúlt hetekben is rengeteg probléma volt. Április végén leszakadt a Delta Air Lines Los Angelesbe induló Boeing 767-es repülőgépének az egyik vészcsúszdája, míg előtte egy Dél-Afrikába tartó gép futóműve kirepült a helyéről menet közben. A Boeing azonban nem kommentálta az incidenst. Április elején pedig a vállalat egyik mérnöke közölte, hogy csaknem félezer gép lehet hibásan összerakva a Boeing Dreamliner gépeiből.
Március elején pont egy Dreamliner „műszaki hibája” miatt sérült meg több tucat ember – amelyre a cég is reagált még akkor –, március végén egy Boeing 727-es kettétört leszállás közben, a hónap végén pedig menet közben zuhant le egy 737-es hajtóművének burkolata. A Boeing repülőgépei az utóbbi időben többször teremtettek életveszélyes helyzeteket, és szinte rendszeresen kellett kényszerleszállást végrehajtaniuk, például egy kiszakadt ablak miatt.
A cég vezérigazgatója, Dave Calhoun pedig bejelentette, hogy 2024 végéig távozik a cég éléről. A Boeing és fő beszállítója, a Spirit AeroSystems gyártási szabványait jelenleg is vizsgálják az egyre nagyobb problémává váló minőségi hanyatlás miatt.
Februárban a Boeing–737 Max repülőgépek gyártásakor találtak problémát, ami arra kényszerítette a vállalatot, hogy átalakítson mintegy 50, még le nem szállított gépet. Ed Clark, a Boeing–737-es programjának vezetője február végén azonnali hatállyal távozott a cégtől, a Ryanairnek pedig járatokat kellett törölnie a Boeing gépek megbízhatatlansága miatt.

Egy belga civil szervezet pert indított, amiért véleménye szerint az érvényes flamand korlátozások ellenére több mint 200 tonna lőszert és 20 tonna detonátort szállítottak Antwerpen kikötőjén keresztül Izraelbe tavaly; Hollandiában szintén per kezdődött vadászrepülőgép-alkatrészek izraeli szállítása miatt – közölte a La Libre Belgique című francia nyelvű belga napilap kedden.
A beszámoló szerint a belgiumi pert indító Vredesactie nevű civil szervezet által megszerzett dokumentumok azt mutatják, hogy a vonatkozó előírásokat kijátszva, izraeli hajók haladtak át az antwerpeni kikötőn katonai felszereléssel a fedélzetükön. A hajók többsége Hamburgból érkezett, majd továbbhaladt végső rendeltetési helyére, a Gázai övezettől 35 kilométerre fekvő izraeli Ashdod kikötőjébe.
A ZIM izraeli hajózási társaság által üzemeltett hajók 2022 novembere és 2023 novembere között 39 alkalommal haladtak át az antwerpeni kikötőn, fedélzetükön 246 tonna, különböző típusú lőszert, valamint 20 tonna detonátort szállítottak. Emellett idén februárban szintén egy, a ZIM által üzemeltetett hajó indult Izraelbe, fedélzetén 32 tonna lőporral, melyet a dél-belgiumban székhellyel rendelkező P.B. Clermont nevű vállalat gyártott.
Kiemelték, hogy Flandria, Belgium északi, flamand nyelvű régiója 2006 óta szigorú politikát folytat Izraellel kapcsolatban, amely érinti a katonai felszerelések exportját vagy tranzitját is. A flamand kormány, noha nem alkalmaz fegyverembargót Izraellel szemben, nem engedélyez egyebek mellett olyan exportot vagy tranzitot, amely az izraeli fegyveres erők katonai kapacitásának megerősítéséhez járul hozzá – írták.
A napilap beszámolt arról is, hogy Hollandiában nemzetközi civil szervezetek pert indítottak a holland kormánnyal szemben annak érdekében, hogy leállítsák az F–35-ös vadászrepülőgépek alkatrészeinek szállítását Izraelbe. Azzal érvelnek, hogy a lépés sérti a nemzetközi jogot.
Az Amnesty International, az Oxfam Novib és a The Rights Forum nevű civil szervezetek szerint az amerikai gyártó tulajdonában lévő, de a hollandiai Woensdrecht légibázisának raktárában tárolt repülőgép-alkatrészek szállítása bűnrészessé teszi Hollandiát a Gázai övezetben elkövetett háborús bűnökben.
A holland kormány azzal érvel, hogy az F–35-ös repülőgépek izraeli bevetéséről szóló jelenlegi információk alapján nem állapítható meg a háborús humanitárius jog megsértése – tette hozzá a napilap.

Feljelentést tettek Ausztriában kínzás és önkényes fogva tartás miatt Ahmed Nasszer ar-Raiszi, az Interpol elnöke ellen, akit Bécsbe várnak a szervezet kedden kezdődő közgyűlésére – közölte a panaszt benyújtó két brit állampolgár ügyvédje hétfőn.
Az eljárást az univerzális joghatóságra alapozva indították meg Ausztriában. Ezen elv lehetővé teszi egy ország hatóságainak, hogy eljárást indítsanak olyan gyanúsítottal szemben, aki az adott ország területére látogat.
A két panaszost – Matthew Hedgest és Ali Issa Ahmadot – 2018-ban, illetve 2019-ben vették őrizetbe az Egyesült Arab Emírségekben. Hedges tanulmányi úton járt az országban, amikor elfogták, és hét hónapon keresztül „rettenetes körülmények között” fogva tartották. Elmondása szerint fenyegetéssel és kínzással rávették, hogy tegyen vallomást arról, hogy a brit hírszerzésnek dolgozik. Kikényszerített vallomása alapján kémkedés címén életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetésre ítélték, de kevesebb mint egy hét múlva nemzetközi nyomásra kegyelmet kapott.
Ali Issa Ahmad futballszurkolóként érkezett az Egyesült Arab Emírségekbe az Ázsia-kupára 2019-ben. Elmondása szerint azért vették őrizetbe mert Katart támogató pólót viselt, és abban az időben a két ország között kiélezetten feszült volt a helyzet. Három hétig tartották fogva, ez idő alatt többször is bántalmazták a helyi hatóságok.
Raiszi a két eset idején főfelügyelő volt az Egyesült Arab Emírségek belügyminisztériumában, és e tisztségében a két panaszos szerint felelősség terheli őt a történtekért. Ahmed Nasszer ar-Raiszi 2021 novembere óta irányítja az Interpolt.
A nemzetközi rendőrségi szervezet székhelyén, Párizsban is indult már eljárás az ügyben tavaly, és a panaszosok Norvégiában, Svédországban és Törökországban is tettek jogi lépéseket.

A jelentés szerint Dmitro Lubinec megjegyezte, hogy a társadalom különböző csoportjaiból, különböző nemzeti közösségekből, különböző vallású és meggyőződésű, különböző lakóhelyekből származó férfiak és nők szolgálják és védik Ukrajnát a fegyveres erőkben. Hozzátette, hogy emberi méltóságukban bizonyos okokból történő megaláztatásuk vagy sértegetésük, becsmérlő légkör létrehozása az ilyen személyekkel szemben a diszkrimináció egyik formája, amelyet Ukrajna hatályos jogszabályai tiltanak.
„Személyesen fordultam az illetékes állami hatóságokhoz: Ukrajna Nemzeti Rendőrségéhez, Ukrajna Biztonsági Szolgálatához (SZBU), az Országos Televízió- és Rádióműsor-tanácshoz, hogy ellenőrizzék a fenti információkat és tegyék meg a megfelelő válaszintézkedéseket” – írta Dmitro Lubinec.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Irina Farion nyelvész nem tekintheti ukránoknak azokat, akik nem beszélnek ukránul, mindenekelőtt a hadseregben. „Nem nevezhetem őket ukránoknak, ha nem beszélnek ukránul. Szóval, nevezzék magukat oroszoknak, és kész. Mi akadályozza őket? Miért olyan hülyék? Miért állnak így az ukrán nyelvhez? Ha olyan nagy hazafiak, mutassák meg a hazaszeretetüket. Tanulják meg Tarasz Hrihorovics Sevcsenko nyelvét, aki szinte egész életét Ukrajnán kívül élte le, de ebből az ukrán nyelvből emlékművet teremtett a mi életünknek” – fakadt ki az orosz anyanyelvű honfitársai ellen a lembergi ultranacionalista nyelvész.

A jelentés szerint Kim a Mediacentr sajtóközpontban tartott online sajtótájékoztatóján elmondta: „még túl korai beszélni az orosz rakétákat célravezetők elleni intézkedések eredményeiről. A legtöbb állampolgár még a felajánlott pénzbeli tiszteletdíjat is visszautasítja, és ingyen ad tájékoztatást a megjelölt címre a potenciális kollaboránsokról vagy diverzánsokról.” Mint jelezte, „az információk ellenőrzés alatt állnak. Egy héten belül lehet majd eredményt hirdetni.” A katonai kormányzó kiemelte, hogy az elmúlt 24 órában körülbelül 96 bejelentés érkezett be a potenciális árulókról.
Mint hírportálunk tegnap beszámolt róla, Kim bejelentette: egy-két héten belül több napra le fogják zárni Mikolajivet, és akciót indítanak a kollaboránsok felkutatására, a lakosságnak előre gondoskodnia kell az ivóvíz és élelmiszerek beszerzéséről. Korábban a katonai kormányzó bejelentette, hogy a Mikolajivre kilőtt orosz rakéták célpontra vezetőit lebuktatók 100 dollár jutalomra számíthatnak minden egyes feljelentett személyért.

San Franciscóban nyújtották be szerdán annak az 550 nőnek a keresetét, akik azt állítják, hogy az Uber sofőrjei zaklatták őket.
„A szexuális zaklatás egy szörnyű rémtett, és mi minden egyes jelentést komolyan veszünk – nyilatkozta az Uber egyik szóvivője a BBC-nek. Nincs fontosabb a biztonságnál, ezért az Uber új biztonsági intézkedéseket vezetett be, túlélőközpontú szabályokat fektetett le, és átláthatóbban kezeli a súlyosabb ügyeket. Bár a folyamatban lévő perről nem beszélhetünk, a biztonság továbbra is a munkánk lényegi eleme lesz.”
Az Uber a múlt hónapban adta ki a második biztonsági jelentését, amelyből kiderül, hogy 2020-ban 998 esteben került sor szexuális zaklatásra a szolgáltatás használata során az Egyesült Államok területén, amelyből 141-szer megerőszakolás miatt tettek panaszt.
A kereset szerint az állítólagos szexuális bűnügyek számos államot érintenek, 150 további lehetséges esetet pedig jelenleg is vizsgálnak. A dokumentumban azt írják, az Uber már 2014-ben tisztában lehetett azzal, hogy a sofőrjei közül többen szexuálisan bántalmazzák és megerőszakolják a női utasokat, de a cégnek fontosabb volt a „terjeszkedés, mint az ügyfelek biztonsága.”
Hasonló vádakat fogalmazott meg hétfőn a cég egy korábbi vezető beosztásban lévő tagja, Mark MacGann is, aki szerint az Ubernél volt egy úgynevezett „kill switch”, amelyet egy hatósági megkeresés esetén azonnal aktiválni tudtak volna, hogy a rendőrség semmilyen információhoz ne jusson hozzá.
Ahogyan azt a keresetben olvasható, a cég szándékosan eltitkolta, hogy a sofőrjei nőket zaklatnak és miközben azt hirdették, hogy az ügyfelek biztonságban vannak az utazás során, pontosan tudták, hogy ez nem fedi a valóságot. A dokumentum továbbá azt is a problémák közé sorolja, hogy az Uber nem vetette alá szigorú átvilágításnak a sofőrjeit.

Megkezdte csütörtökön a meghallgatását a bíróság Japánban annak az öt, észak-koreai menekültnek, aki 2018-ban tett panaszt Kim Dzsongun észak-koreai vezető ellen, a hazájukban több évtizeden át ért bánásmód miatt.
A felperesek – a szigetországban élő koreaiak hazatelepítését szolgáló program károsultjai – beismerték, hogy keresetük csupán szimbolikus, nem számítanak Kim Dzsongun megjelenésére a tárgyaláson, mindazonáltal fejenként százmillió jen (266 millió forint) kártérítésre tartanak igényt.
Fukuda Kendzsi, a felperesek ügyvédje azt mondta, reméli, hogy az ügy precedensként szolgál majd a japán kormány Phenjannal folytatott tárgyalásaihoz.
Phenjan nagyszabású visszatelepítési programjának célja a koreai háború során megfogyatkozott koreai munkaerő pótlása volt a külföldön élő diaszpórából, illetve a szomszédos Dél-Koreából. A program egészen 1984-ig működött. E program keretében mintegy 93 ezer, Japánban élő koreai vándorolt vissza Észak-Koreába a jobb élet reményében.
Észak-Korea ingyenes egészségbiztosítást, oktatást, munkát és egyéb kedvezményeket ígért, de ebből semmit nem váltott valóra, s többnyire csak fizikai munkát biztosított a bányákban, farmokon, illetve erdőgazdaságokban. „Ha tudtuk volna az igazságot Észak-Koreáról, egyikünk sem ment volna oda” – jelentette ki az egyik felperes.

Evo Morales tavaly novemberben távozott a hatalomból, miután vitatott elnökválasztást követően hatalmas tüntetések kezdődtek, és a fegyveres erők is csatlakoztak a távozását követelő tömegekhez. Az államfő a lemondása után Mexikóba menekült az országból.

A Beregszászi Városi Tanács pénteken tartotta meg soron következő plenáris ülését. Darcsi Karolina, a tanács magyar frakciójának vezetője a napirendi pontok áttekintése és megvitatása előtt felolvasta a képviselőtársának, Vitalij Antipovnak címzett írásbeli megkeresését, majd a feljelentést továbbította a rendőrség felé.
Tavaly októberben járta be a sajtót a hír, amely szerint a Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg Megyei Rendőr-főkapitányság körözést adott ki Anti Viktor, Beregszászban született magyar állampolgár ellen. A körözéshez mellékelt fotón kétségkívül Vitalij Antipov látható, aki a Beregszászi Városi Tanács egykori BPP-frakciójának vezetője volt. Azon kívül, hogy bűncselekményt követett el Magyarországon, a magyarellenességéről ismert képviselő hamis néven szerzett magyar állampolgárságot, ugyanis a magyar okmányaiban Anti Viktorként szereplő Vitalij Antipov születési adatai azonosak a városi tanács adatbázisában szereplő eredetiekkel. Egy novemberi soron kívül tartott tanácsülésen képviselőtársai arra kérték a képviselőt, hogy szolgáljon magyarázattal a személye körül kialakult botrány kapcsán, hiszen az rossz fényt vet az egész képviselő-testületre. Vitalij Antipov máig nem adott tájékoztatást az esetről. A képviselők ezért a június 5-i ülésen eldöntötték, hogy követelik kollégájuktól, hogy öt napon belül cáfolja az információkat bizonyító erejű okiratok felmutatásával.
„Hét hónappal ezelőtt a magyarországi médiából értesültünk arról, hogy képviselőtársunkat Anti Viktor néven körözik Magyarországon zaklatás elkövetése miatt, ugyanis egy határrendésznek egy temetési koszorút küldött – ezzel gyakorlatilag megfenyegetve az életét. Sajnálatos módon – a képviselő ugyan ígéretet tett fél évvel ezelőtt arra, hogy tisztázni fogja magát – most ott tartunk, hogy engem is megfenyegetett, nekem is beígért egy temetési koszorút. Ebben az ügyben feljelentést tettem, a tanácsülésen a feljelentést a rendőrség képviselőjének is átadtam, aki biztosított arról, hogy személyesen fogja az ügyet kontrollálni, illetve a törvényeknek megfelelően tájékoztatni fognak az ügy állásáról nemcsak engem, hanem az egész képviselő-testületet” – nyilatkozta az eset kapcsán Darcsi Karolina.
Babják Zoltán, Beregszász polgármestere az ülést követően újságírónknak elmondta, hogy mindenképpen azt szeretnék, ha a Beregszászi Városháza fölött nem lebegne egy olyan felhő, amelyre nincs magyarázat. „Úgy gondolom, hogy nem szabad egy kalap alatt kezelnünk azokat a képviselőket, akik minden szinten odafigyelnek a saját reputációjukra azokkal, akiknek az nem fontos. Én szeretném, ha a beregszászi önkormányzat becsülete semmilyen szinten ne szenvedjen csorbát, ezért ma egy olyan döntést hoztunk, hogy Vitalij Antipov nem kívánatos személy a testületi üléseken egészen addig, amíg nem tisztázza magát. Erre megvan a megfelelő jogi út. Tisztázhatta volna magát már nagyon régen, biztos, hogy vannak rá okok, amiért ez nem történt meg – mi ezeket az okokat szeretnénk megismerni. Szeretnénk ebben a teremben úgy levezetni egy testületi ülést, hogy közöttünk nincs körözött személy. Ez a legfontosabb dolog, ugyanis a mi városunknak és minden polgárának fontos a város hírneve” – húzta alá Babják Zoltán.
Az ülésen a képviselők elfogadták a Beregszászi Linner Bertalan Központi Járási Kórház támogatására és fejlesztésére célzott 2020-as évre szóló programját, helyesbítették a városi utcák fenntartásával és felújításával kapcsolatos jegyzékeket, illetve a földkérdésekről is szó esett. Ismertették azt, hogy a város költségvetésébe 2020 első negyedévében az előirányzott helyett 1,9 millió hrivnyával kevesebb folyt be, amelynek oka a márciusban bevezetett karanténintézkedések lévén bezárni kényszerült vállalkozások. Tájékoztattak arról is, hogy 2019-ben összesen 270 beregszászi lakos nyújtott be az orvosi recept alapján vásárolt gyógyszerek vételárának visszatérítésére irányuló program keretében igénylést összesen 134 035 hrivnya összegben.
