A Ferrarit zsarolóvírusos hekkertámadás érte, a szervereiről több mint 7 GB adatot (dokumentumokat, adatlapokat, javítási kézikönyveket és sok egyéb infót) loptak le – ezt állítja a RansomEXX nevű kiberbanda.
A zsarolóvírus egy olyan kártékony szoftver, amely titkosítja az eszközökön lévő adatokat, majd a bűnözők váltságdíjat kérnek az érintettől és azt ígérik, hogy egy adott összegért cserébe visszaállítják a hozzáférést. Ha az „áldozat” nem hajlandó fizetni, a bűnözők kettős zsarolással, azaz az adott cég informatikai infrastruktúrájából ellopott adatok közzétételével fenyegetnek.
Nem ez az első eset, hogy a Ferrari dokumentumaihoz illetéktelenek hozzáfértek. Korábban az Everest nevű kiberbanda egy másik olasz cég, a Speroni rendszerének feltörése révén a Ferrarit érintő dokumentumokat hozott nyilvánosságra.
Ugyanakkor most semmi nem támasztja alá, hogy a hekkertámadás valóban megtörtént. A Ferrari nem rendelkezik bizonyítékkal arra vonatkozóan, hogy rendszereibe betörtek volna és arról adott tájékoztatást, hogy nem volt fennakadás az üzletmenetben és a működésben.
A maranellói cég jelenleg ellenőrzi, hogy a saját vagy a beszállítók informatikai struktúrái érintettek-e, hogy valóban loptak-e anyagot, és ha igen, akkor milyet. Az átvizsgálás befejezése után a vállalat hivatalosan is állást foglal az incidenssel kapcsolatban – írja a La Repubblica.

A Corriere della Sera információi szerint a játékos egy 100 ezer euró értékű Ferrari 812 Superfast autót hagyott az autómosóban. Az egyik alkalmazott úgy döntött, hogy elvezeti az autót a sportközpontig, de egy kanyarban elvesztette uralmát a jármű felett és egy kerítésnek csapódott.
Az alkalmazott ezenkívül öt másik, a szemközti sávban parkoló autóval is összeütközött. Ennek eredményeként a genovai kapus, Federico Marchetti autója súlyosan megsérült.
