A francia hatóságok vasárnap közölték, hogy őrizetbe vettek 12 gyanúsítottat, miután 145-en arról számoltak be, hogy fecskendővel szúrták meg őket az ország utcazenei fesztiválján – számolt be a hirado.hu.
Szombat este milliók lepték el az utcákat Franciaország-szerte a zene ünnepe, a Fête de la Musique alkalmából, Párizsban pedig példátlan tömegekről számoltak be a hatóságok. A rendezvény előtt a közösségi médiában olyan felhívások jelentek meg, amelyek a nők elleni támadásokat ösztönözték az ünnepségek idején. A francia belügyminisztérium tájékoztatása szerint országszerte 145 áldozat jelentette, hogy tűszúrást szenvedett el. A fővárosban 13 esetet regisztráltak.
A hatóságok nem közölték, hogy ezek az úgynevezett tűszúrások olyan kábítószerekkel – például Rohypnollal vagy GHB-vel – történő megerőszakolásról szóltak-e, amelyeket a támadók arra használnak, hogy az áldozatok zavart vagy eszméletlen állapotba kerüljenek, és így sebezhetővé váljanak a szexuális támadással szemben.

Párizsban nyomozás indult három személy ügyében, köztük egy 15 éves lány és egy 18 éves fiú is érintett, akik különálló incidensekben számoltak be tűszúrásokról a városban. Mindhárman rosszullétről számoltak be – közölte a The Guardian.
Országszerte 12 gyanúsítottat tartóztattak le. Köztük négy embert a délnyugati Angouleme városában, akiket azzal gyanúsítanak, hogy mintegy 50 áldozatot vettek célba – mondta egy rendőrségi forrás. A gyanúsítottakon kívül több mint 370 embert vettek őrizetbe a fesztivál ideje alatt különböző vádakkal, köztük közel 90 embert Párizsban.

A támadás helyi idő szerint nem sokkal éjfél előtt történt pénteken a Vöröskereszt Doi Loyfa vásárán, amelyet évente rendeznek meg az északi Tak tartomány Umphang körzetében.
Két gyanúsítottat őrizetben tartanak, de vádat nem emeltek. Legalább 48-an megsebesültek, közülük hatan sérültek meg súlyosan – írja az Associated Press és a helyi média a thai rendőrségre hivatkozva.
Az umphangi mentőcsapat közleménye szerint a robbanóanyag egy szabadtéri színpad lábánál landolt, ahol a fesztiválozók táncoltak. A sebesültek egy részét a közeli kórházba vitték. Számos jelentés szerint a detonációt egy rögtönzött robbanószerkezet okozta.
Paetongtarn Shinawatra miniszterelnök X-en közzétett bejegyzésében részvétét fejezte ki a robbantásban elhunytak és sebesültek hozzátartozóinak. Elmondta, hogy utasította a rendőrséget és a biztonsági szerveket, hogy vizsgálják ki a robbanás okát, valamint segítsenek az érintetteken.

A viharos esőzés következtében pénteken este ledőlt a nagysátor Szlovákia egyik legismertebb fesztiválján, a Trencsén melletti repülőtéren megrendezett Pohoda fesztiválon, a baleset következtében 12 ember könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett – jelentette a TASR szlovák közszolgálati hírügynökség a rendőrség és a mentőszolgálat információira hivatkozva.
A trencséni repülőtéren 1997 óta évente megrendezésre kerülő népszerű könnyűzenei fesztivál programját azt követően kellett félbeszakítani, hogy a régiót pénteken elérő intenzív esőzést és vihart követően ledőlt a fesztivál nagysátra. A balesetben a mentőszolgálat közlése szerint 12 személy szenvedett könnyebb – főként fej és felsővégtagi – sérüléseket. A sérülteket a trencséni és a vágbesztercei kórházakba szállították sérüléseik ellátása céljából.
A baleset után a fesztivál szervezői közölték: a fennmaradó programokat nem tartják meg és a fesztivál sátorvárosát a látogatóknak szombaton déli 12 óráig el kell hagyniuk. A fesztivál parkolói szombaton délután négy óráig maradnak nyitva.

Több mint 70 ezren rekedtek szombaton a Nevada államban megrendezett Burning Man fesztivál területén. A Black Rock sivatagban tartott, évente megrendezett fesztivál az Egyesült Államok egyik legismertebb kulturális eseménye – írja a BBC.
A közösségi médiában közzétett felvételek azt mutatják, hogy a résztvevők a sáros ösvényeken küszködnek. A szervezők közölték, hogy „amíg a playa felszíne fel nem szárad, a mentőszolgálat kivételével tilos a közlekedés”.
A résztvevőket arra biztatják, hogy takarékoskodjanak az élelemmel, a vízzel és az üzemanyaggal, és húzódjanak meg egy meleg, biztonságos helyen – tették hozzá közleményükben.
Mielőtt a fesztivál hivatalosan augusztus 27-én elkezdődött volna, a Hilary hurrikán utószele sújtott le a helyszínre, ami arra késztette a szervezőket, hogy lezárják a kapukat a korai érkezők előtt.
Most egy éjszakán át tartó, folyamatos esőzés után a hatalmas fesztivál sárban úszik, mindez egy nappal azelőtt történt, hogy az embereknek haza kellett volna indulniuk. A rendezvényen általában óriási interaktív művészeti installációk és egy hatalmas faember látható, amelyet az esemény végén elégetnek.
A fesztivál egyik résztvevője azonban azt mondta, hogy a legtöbb eseményt lefújták, mivel azok nagyrészt a homokos parton zajlanak, ahonnan jelenleg nem lehet sem ki-, sem bejutni.
A fesztiválozó, aki már második éve van jelen az eseményen a lányával együtt, elmondta, hogy az általában forró és poros sivatagban porviharokra készültek, de ehelyett heves eső fogadta őket.
Mindenki jól van, de van egyfajta bizonytalanság – fogalmazott, hozzátéve, hogy néhány ember sátrát elöntötte a víz, és nincs lehetőség kommunikálni senkivel.
A Burning Man mint esemény 1986 júniusában történt, amikor Larry Harvey és barátja, Jerry Goodell a nyári napforduló alkalmából egy faembert égetett el a San Francisco-i Baker Beachen. Később ennek híre ment, a fesztivál pedig erről kapta nevét, amelyet először 1990-ben rendeztek meg a nevadai Black Rock sivatagban.

A szerkezet nagyfeszültségű vezetékhez ért és rögtön lángra kapott. Hat embert a helyszínen végzetes áramcsapás ért, egy hetedik ember útban a kórház felé halt bele sérüléseibe.
Narendra Modi indiai miniszterelnök részvétét fejezte ki a hozzátartozóknak és fejenként 200 ezer rúpia (2400 dollár) kárpótlást ígért az elhunytak, illetve 50 ezer rúpiát (609 dollár) a sérültek családjainak. Ilyen jellegű kifizetések megszokottnak számítanak az infrastruktúrával összefüggésbe hozható baleseteknél.

Az öt férfira egy lakókocsiban találtak rá, a rendőrség szerint mindannyian szén-monoxid-mérgezést kaptak.
A sürgősségiek szombat délután 13:27-kor kapták a telefonhívást egy embertől, aki a barátait kereste a Faster Horses fesztiválon.
„A hívó az öt férfi barátja volt, és egyre jobban aggódott miattuk, mert nem hallott felőlük semmit” – közölte a rendőrség, amely egyelőre vizsgálja a tragikus esemény körülményeit, mivel elképzelhető, hogy a lakókocsi közelében elhelyezett generátor miatt kaptak szén-monoxid-mérgezést a fesztiválozók.
Ezek után egyre többen hívják fel a figyelmet arra, hogy a generátorokat lehetőleg minél távolabb tartsák többek között a kempingtől, a sátraktól, a lakókocsiktól, de a rendőrség szerint ugyanilyen veszélyes lehet az ilyen fesztiválok esetében a kipufogógáz is.
