Csütörtökön a lengyel légierő egyik F-16-os vadászgépe lezuhant a közép-lengyelországi Radom városának katonai repülőterén, egy légibemutatóra való felkészülés közben. A hadsereg közlése szerint a pilóta életét vesztette a balesetben.
A lengyel hadsereg pilótája meghalt az F-16-os repülőgép lezuhanásakor – egy olyan tiszt, aki mindig odaadással és nagy bátorsággal szolgálta hazáját. Tisztelettel adózom emlékének – írta Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz védelmi miniszter az X-en, miután a baleset helyszínére érkezett.
A Fegyveres Erők Főparancsnoksága közölte, hogy a baleset a Poznan közelében található 31. Taktikai Légibázis egyik repülőgépét érintette. A helyszínen többen is közelről nézték végig a tragikus kimenetelű balesetet, néhányan pedig videóra is vették azt. A földön tartózkodók közül senki sem sérült meg. „A helyszínen azonnal megkezdődtek a mentési műveletek” – áll hivatalos a közleményben.
A közösségi médiában megjelent felvételeken látható, amint a gép egy orsó manővert hajtana végre, ám mivel nem sikerült időben visszarántania a repülőgép orrát, a szerkezet a kifutópályára csapódik, ahol rögtön lángba is borul.

A katonai tűzoltók a katasztrófavédelem segítségét kérték.
A Constanţa megyei Corbu mellett 15 hektáron lángol a száraz növényzet – írja a Főtér. A portál szerint a közelben lévő légvédelmi kiképzőközpontban gyakorlatozó katonák okozhatták a tüzet, amikor a nagy kaliberű fegyver torkolattüze felgyújtotta a száraz növényzetet. A katonai tűzoltók a katasztrófavédelem (ISU) segítségét kérték, ők is kiküldtek pár egységet a helyszínre, hogy közös erővel fékezzék meg a bozóttüzet.
Személyi sérülés nem történt, egyelőre épületek sincsenek veszélyben.
