A Lembergi Sevcsenkivszkiji Kerületi Bíróságon Irina Farion meggyilkolásának ügyében Vjacseszlav Zincsenko vádlott bejelentette, éhségsztrájkba kezd. Ez azután történt, hogy a bíróság ismét elutasította a védelem kérelmét, számolt be a Szuszpilne.
A gyanúsított ügyvédje megpróbálta a bírói testület lecserélését, hivatkozva az állítólagos elfogultságra és a kontradiktórius eljárás elvének megsértésére.
A bíróság azonban elutasította a kérelmet, megalapozatlannak találva azt. A további ügyiratok bekérésére és a bizonyítékok újbóli megvizsgálására irányuló kérelmeket sem teljesítették.
Ezt követően Zincsenko éhségsztrájkba kezdett, lépését az eljárási jogok megsértésével magyarázva.
„Mivel úgy vélem, hogy megsértették alkotmányos jogaimat, miután minden rendelkezésre álló eljárási lehetőséget kihasználtam, éhségsztrájkot hirdetek, és követelem a petíció felülvizsgálatát” – mondta.
Az ügyészség kijelentette, hogy minden bírósági határozat jogszerű, és a védelem intézkedései az eljárás késleltetését célozzák. Az ügyészség hangsúlyozza, hogy a bizonyítékok nagy részét már megvizsgálták, és az ügy a végső szakaszához közeledik. A következő tárgyalásra április 22-re van kitűzve.

Az összehangolt művelet során lekapcsolták a feltételezett banda utolsó tagját is, akit az október 19-i Louvre Múzeumbeli rablás céljából köröztek. A férfi Aubervilliers-ből származik és kedden reggel tartóztatták le a Mayenne megyei Lavalban a bandaellenes egység (BRB) nyomozói – értesült a Le Figaro.
A rablás napján, reggel 9:30-kor egy négyfős bűnözőcsapatnak sikerült egy targoncát elhelyeznie a múzeum lábánál, majd azon keresztül felmásztak az Apollo Galériába. Az első két gyanúsítottat október 25-én kapták el, vádat emeltek ellenük, és előzetes letartóztatásba helyezték őket.
Az első gyanúsított, Abdoulaye N., akit a YouTube-on „Doudou Cross Bitume” néven ismernek, beismerte hogy részt vett a rablásban. A második feltételezett tettes DNS-ét a szökés során használt két Tmax robogó egyikén találták meg. A kommandó harmadik gyanúsítottját október 29-én elfogták, majd bebörtönözték. A negyedik feltételezett elkövetőt, pedig most kapcsolták le a rendőrök. Az ellopott ékszereket, amelyek becsült értéke 88 millió euró, továbbra sem találják.

Kijevben kedden egy bűncselekmény elkövetésével gyanúsított férfi megnyitotta a gázcsapot a lakásában és berobbantotta, amikor a rendőrök el akarták fogni, a detonációban ő és három rendőr is megsérült – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a kijevi rendőrség Telegram-közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint „a Darnyica kerületben egy bűncselekmény elkövetésével gyanúsított 34 éves férfi megnyitotta a gázt a lakásában majd berobbantotta, megsebesítve három rendőrt”.
A rendőrség tisztázta, hogy a támadó maga is megsérült a baleset következtében. A rendőrök szakszerű fellépésének eredményeként több sérülés nem történt. Az épület lakóit időben kimenekítették.
A sérült rendőröket kórházba szállították, a gyanúsítottat pedig a helyszínen őrizetbe vették. Cselekményéért akár 10 évre is rács mögé kerülhet.

Vádat emeltek egy afgán állampolgár ellen az Egyesült Államokban, aki a gyanú szerint terrortámadás végrehajtására szövetkezett a novemberi választások napján – közölte helyi idő szerint kedden a washingtoni igazságügyi minisztérium.
A tárca szerint a 27 éves férfi Oklahoma államban élt.
„A vád szerint az igazságügyi minisztérium meghiúsította a vádlott azon tervét, hogy félautomata fegyvereket szerezzen be és az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet nevében erőszakos támadást kövessen el az Egyesült Államok területén a választások napján” – tudatta Merrick Garland igazságügyi miniszter.
„Továbbra is harcolni fogunk az Iszlám Állam és támogatói által Amerika nemzetbiztonságára jelentett folyamatos fenyegetés ellen, és azonosítani, kivizsgálni és felelősségre fogjuk vonni azokat, akik az amerikai nép terrorizálására törekszenek” – szögezte le a miniszter.
Az összeesküvés részeként a vádlott lépéseket tett családja vagyonának felszámolására, családtagjainak tengerentúlra való áttelepítésére, gépkarabélyok és lőszerek beszerzésére – közölte a minisztérium.
A tájékoztatás szerint a férfit és egy fiatalkorút hétfőn vették őrizetbe, azt követően, hogy megvásároltak két gépkarabélyt, 10 tárat és ötszáz darab lőszert a Szövetségi Nyomozó Iroda (FBI) fedésben dolgozó ügynökeitől.
A férfit felelősségre vonják azért, mert anyagi támogatást és erőforrásokat próbált nyújtani egy tiltólistán szereplő külföldi terrorista szervezetnek. Ha bűnösnek találják, akár 20 év börtönbüntetésre is számíthat. Azzal is megvádolták, hogy lőfegyvert fogadott el bűncselekmény vagy terrorista bűncselekmény elkövetéséhez, amiért további legfeljebb 15 év börtönbüntetés járhat, ha elítélik.

Rejtélyes körülmények meghalt Igor Kotelnyikov, az orosz védelmi minisztériumot behálózó korrupciós ügy egyik legfontosabb gyanúsítottja.
Kotelnyikov összekötő volt a korrupciós ügyben érintett orosz tábornokok és katonatisztek, illetve az őket korrumpáló hadiipari és építészeti vállalatok közt. Ő volt az a személy, aki a megbízásokat, kenőpénzeket átadta a megvásárolt katonatiszteknek. Az ügybe egyéb magas rangú személyek mellett Szergej Sojgu védelmi miniszter is belebukott, illetve Timur Ivanov védelmiminiszter-helyettes hatósági őrizetbe került.
Az orosz TASZSZ hírügynökség közleménye szerint Kotelnyikov a börtönben halt meg, szívrohamban. Az üzletember mindössze 52 éves volt.
Az amerikai állami finanszírozásból működő RFE/RL azt írja: Kotelnyikovot egy olyan börtönben tartották fogva, amely eleve túlzsúfolt és humanitárius szempontból szörnyű körülmények közt működik. A lap cikke szerint az üzletember nem volt együttműködő, ezért „büntetőcellába” zárták.

Gennaro Sangiuliano kulturális miniszter csütörtökön a Twitteren hozta nyilvánosságra, hogy a katonai rendőrség „azonosította azt a személyt, aki feltehetően felelős a Colosseumnál elkövetett civilizálatlan és abszurd cselekedetért”.
„Ez olyan tett, amely világszerte mindenkit megbotránkoztatott, aki értékeli a régészetet, a műemlékeket és a történelmet” – tette hozzá. Az angol férfi keresztneve Ivan, míg barátnőjét Hailey-nek hívhatják, közölte.
Egy másik Twitter-bejegyzésben arról is írt, hogy bíróságra viszik az ügyet.
„Remélem, hogy az igazságszolgáltatás a törvényt szigorúan alkalmazva járja majd útját” – fogalmazott, hozzátéve, hogy a tárgyaláson a kulturális minisztérium felperesként lesz érdekelt.
A gyanúsított, aki valószínűleg már Angliában tartózkodik, 15 ezer eurós büntetésre vagy akár öt év börtönre számíthat.
A férfit hagyományos nyomozás és fényképek összehasonlítása segítségével sikerült azonosítani, de mindaddig ártatlannak tekintik, amíg a bizonyítási eljárás le nem zajlott.
Sangiuliano arról is írt, hogy jelenleg egy olyan kormányzati törvényjavaslatot tárgyal a parlament, amely a vandálokat személyes vagyonuk erejéig teszi felelősségre vonhatóvá hasonló cselekedetek esetében.
Róma történelmi emlékei évek óta esnek áldozatául hasonló tetteknek. 2020-ban egy ír turistát jelentettek fel a rendőrségen, mert állítólag a monogramját véste a falba. A bolgár rendőrség őrizetbe vett öt embert, akiket azzal gyanúsít, hogy közük volt a hat halálos áldozatot és 81 sebesültet követelő november 13-i isztambuli robbantáshoz – jelentette szombaton a bolgár állami televízió biztonsági forrásokra hivatkozva. Az őrizetbe vettek között moldovai állampolgárok és arab származású személyek vannak.
Szijka Mileva, a bolgár államügyészség szóvivője megerősítette az értesülést, hozzátéve, hogy az öt ember közül négyet 72 órára vettek őrizetbe, és az ügyészség kérte állandó letartóztatásukat.
Az eddigi ismeretek szerint az érintettek logisztikai és kommunikációs támogatást nyújtottak a terrorcselekmény szervezőinek.
A merénylet másnapján beismerő vallomást tett az a szíriai állampolgárságú nő, Ahlám al-Basír, akit a robbantás elkövetésével gyanúsítanak. Elmondta, hogy ő helyezte el a pokolgépet Isztambul egyik legforgalmasabb sétálóutcájában, az Istiklalon. Azt is elismerte, hogy a terrorszervezetként nyilvántartott Kurdisztáni Munkáspárt (PKK) megrendelésére hajtotta végre a robbantást, és az észak-szíriai Kobaniból kapta a parancsokat. A nőt a török média szerint a PKK titkosszolgálata képezte ki.

Információk szerint együttműködött az orosz titkosszolgálatokkal, és egy olyan ügynökhálózatot irányított Ukrajnában, ami Oroszország nevében kémkedett. Arról is beszámoltak, hogy még egy személy érintett az ügyben, aki szintén magas rangú.
