Kalus városában (Ivano-Frankivszk megye) a rendőrség egy hároméves kislány meggyilkolásának ügyében nyomoz. A hatóságokhoz egy helyi lakos fordult, aki gyereksírást és sikolyokat hallott a szomszéd lakásból.
A tragédia június 7-én reggel történt. A rendőrök a helyszínre érkezve nem kaptak választ a kopogásra, ezért felvették a kapcsolatot a lakás tulajdonosával, aki beengedte őket. A lakásban a rendőrök megtalálták a 2021-ben született kislány holttestét. Az édesanyja is a lakásban tartózkodott, de nem volt hajlandó semmilyen magyarázatot adni.
A helyszíni vizsgálat során bizonyítékokat foglaltak le, amelyek alátámasztják, hogy a 32 éves anya szándékosan vetett véget gyermeke életének. A nő nem szerepelt semmilyen pszichiátriai nyilvántartásban, és egyedül élt kislányával albérletben.
A helyi Galíciai Tudósító című lap beszámolója szerint a szomszédok elmondták: a nő órákon át kínozta gyermekét, több késszúrást és vágást ejtett rajta, majd vízbe fojtotta a fürdőkádban. A hírek szerint ezzel a tettével „gonosz szellemeket” próbált kiűzni a gyerekből.
A gyilkosság után a nő állítólag üzenetet küldött volt férjének, amelyben azt írta: „a gyermek a volt férj teremtménye, aki maga is démon”.
A nőt őrizetbe vették, a bíróság előzetes letartóztatást rendelt el. A nyomozás jelenleg is folyamatban van.

Dmitro Lubinec ombudsman vizsgálatot indított a kisfiú halálának ügyében, akit Odesszában találtak meg egy fagyasztóban. Kiderítette, hogy a tragédia előtt több szolgáltatás nem reagált megfelelően a figyelmeztetésekre. Erről sajtóközleményében tájékoztatott.
A gyermekjogi ombudsman hivatala kiderítette, hogy a kisfiú édesanyja a születéskor kiskorú volt, és a gyermekvédelmi státusszal rendelkező, családtól és szociális kapcsolatoktól megfosztott gyermeknek számított.
16 évesen szülte meg első gyermekét, de a gyámhatóság úgy döntött, hogy teljes polgári cselekvőképességet biztosít számára, ami azt jelenti, hogy felelősséget vállal nemcsak saját magáért, hanem első és második gyermekéért is.
Lubinec szerint az Odessza megyei gyermekvédelmi szolgálatok rendszeresen figyelmen kívül hagyták kötelességeiket. Megsértették a törvényeket, mivel nem biztosították a gyermekekkel élő anya családjának a „nehezebb életkörülmények között élő család” státuszt.
Emellett a megyei szociális szolgálatok rendszeresen figyelmen kívül hagyták a rendőrségi értesítéseket, amelyek a gyermekekre leselkedő veszélyre figyelmeztettek, és nem látták el alapvető feladataikat a segítségre szoruló gyermekek védelmében.
Az ügyben továbbra is folyik a nyomozás.

A Poltava megyei rendőrség elfogott egy férfit, aki részt vett egy kétéves kislány brutális meggyilkolásában, aki február 22-én tűnt el.
Jevhenij Rohacsov rendőrfőnök elmondta, hogy a gyermek eltűnéséről szóló értesítés után a rendőrség maximális erőforrásokat vont be a keresésbe, beleértve a közösséget, kutyás nyomozókat és a bűnügyi laboratóriumot.
A hatóságok átvizsgálták az utcákat, sikátorokat, házról házra jártak, és minden lehetséges kidolgoztak, beleértve a gyermek elrablását és meggyilkolását.

Öt holttestet találtak egy lakásban a francia hatóságok a Párizstól nem messze található Meaux-ban – közölte az AFP hírügynökséggel Jean-Baptiste Bladier, a város ügyésze hétfőn. Kedden őrizetbe vették a bűntény elkövetésével gyanúsított 33 éves férfit.
Az ügyész elmondta, hogy szándékos emberölés gyanújával indítottak nyomozást. Az áldozatok közül négy kisgyermek, az ötödik pedig az édesanyjuk.
Az őrizetbe vett férfi a gyermekek apja, aki a rendőrség szerint korábban már állt pszichiátriai kezelés alatt, és családon belüli erőszakért is nyomoztak utána, mert egyszer már rátámadt a feleségére.
A gyanúsítottat apja lakásában fogták el, a Meaux-tól mintegy 30 kilométerre található Sevranban.
Az áldozatok közül az anya 35 éves volt, a legkisebb gyermek 9 hónapos, a többiek 4, 7 és 10 évesek.
A rendőrség szerint a bűntényt késsel követték el. A hatóságokat a szomszédok riasztották, akik aggasztónak találták, hogy nem tudnak kapcsolatba lépni a család tagjaival.

Az egykor „Ausztrália legrosszabb anyjának” bélyegzett nő négy gyermeke megölése miatt hozott ítéletét hatályon kívül helyezték – írja a BBC.
Az új-dél-walesi legfelsőbb bíróság csütörtökön úgy döntött, hogy az eredetileg Kathleen Folbigg börtönbüntetéséhez használt bizonyítékok „nem voltak megbízhatóak”.
Az 56 éves nőt kegyelemben részesítette és szabadlábra helyezte az állam kormánya, miután 20 évet töltött börtönben. Folbigg üdvözölte a legújabb hírt, de azt mondta, hogy az ártatlanságát alátámasztó bizonyítékokat évtizedekig figyelmen kívül hagyták és elutasították.
„A rendszer inkább engem hibáztatott ahelyett, hogy elfogadta volna, hogy néha a gyerekek hirtelen, váratlanul és szívszorítóan meghalhatnak, és meg is halnak” – mondta csütörtökön a bíróság előtt.
Folbigg ügyét Ausztrália egyik legnagyobb igazságszolgáltatási tévedésének nevezték. Az ügyben érintett négy csecsemő Caleb, Patrick, Sarah és Laura 1989 és 1999 között haltak meg hirtelen, 19 napos és 18 hónapos koruk között. Az ügyészek a tárgyaláson azt állították, hogy Folbigg megfojtotta őket.
Az ügy közvetett bizonyítékokra támaszkodott, felhasználva a nő naplóit, amelyeket soha nem vizsgáltak meg pszichológusok vagy pszichiáterek. 2003-ban 40 év börtönre ítélték a négy gyermek megöléséért. Ezt később fellebbezéssel 30 évre csökkentették.
2023 elején az ügyében indított vizsgálat megállapította, hogy bűnösségével kapcsolatban, mivel tudományos eredmények szerint a gyermekei természetes halált halhattak hihetetlenül ritka génmutációk miatt.
Andrew Bell bíró szerint ez az új bizonyíték vezetett ahhoz, hogy Folbigget csütörtökön minden vád alól felmentették. A nő jogi csapata megerősítette, hogy most kártérítést fognak kérni a nevében.
Az ügy világszerte nagy figyelmet keltett, és rámutatott arra, hogy az ausztrál jogrendszer lassan reagál a tudományra.

Eltűnt gyermek holttestére bukkantak a rendőrök csütörtök este a Németország északi részén található Pragsdorfban. A szakértők a pénteki boncolás után megállapították, hogy a hatéves kisfiút meggyilkolták.
Nagy erőkkel kereste a rendőrség a hatéves kisfiút, akinek a holttestét csütörtökön azonosították a Pragsdorf nevű német kisvárosban – közölte a Bild.
Mint írták, Joel csütörtök délután nem érkezett haza a megbeszélt időben, miután elment játszani. A szülők ekkor jelentették a hatéves fiú eltűnését. A rendőrség riasztást adott ki, majd kutyák, helikopterek és tűzoltók indultak az gyermek keresésére. Az akcióban a lakosság is segített.
Az elhunyt kisfiúra súlyos sérülésekkel találtak rá egy tó melletti bokros területen.
A szakértők a pénteki boncolás során megállapították, hogy Joelt halálra késelték.
Hozzátették, hogy a sebeket egy éles tárggyal okozták, és nem szexuális jellegű bűncselekmény történt. A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint a gyilkosságnál használt szúró fegyver még nem került elő.
A nyomozók dolgoznak rajta, hogy bizonyítékokat gyűjtsenek. A gyilkosság helyszíne 200 méterre található a kisfiú otthonától és jelenleg is le van zárva.

Halálos lövést adott le hétfő este egy hétéves gyerek egy ötévesre a Kentucky állam keleti részén fekvő McKee település egyik lakóépületében – közölte a rendőrség.
Noha az előzetes vizsgálat eredménye szerint nem szándékos bűncselekmény történt, a kentuckyi rendőrség folytatja a nyomozást. Az áldozat és elkövető személyazonosságát egyelőre nem hozták nyilvánosságra.
A jelentés szerint az áldozat kisgyereken életmentő beavatkozást próbáltak végrehajtani, de nem tudták megmenteni. A Jackson megyei halottkém a helyszínen halottnak nyilvánította a gyereket.
Az Everytown for Gun Safety nevű érdekvédelmi szervezet szerint az Egyesült Államokban idén eddig több mint 150 olyan eset történt, amikor gyerek kezében véletlenül sült el fegyver, ami miatt legkevesebb 58 ember meghalt és 101-en megsebesültek. Ezek közül három történt Kentuckyban.
Az ország keleti részén fekvő államban – a Giffords Law Center szerint – nincs olyan jogszabály, amely büntetné azokat, akik nem zárják el biztonságos helyre a lőfegyverüket. Tilos azonban „szándékosan, tudatosan vagy gondatlanul” kézifegyvert adni kiskorú kezébe. Kivéve, ha a kiskorú törvényesen fegyvertartási engedéllyel rendelkezik.
