Csütörtökön lezuhant a dél-koreai haditengerészet egyik P–3C típusú tengeri felderítő repülőgépe Pohang közelében, az ország délkeleti részén – jelentette egy helyi kormányzati tisztségviselő.
A baleset helyi idő szerint 13 óra 50 perckor történt – derült ki a tájékoztatásból.
Négy ember tartózkodott a gép fedélzetén, amely a keleti partvidék hegyei között zuhant le – jelentette a Yonhap helyi hírügynökség a hatóságokra hivatkozva.
A baleset helyszínén három holttestet találtak.
A haditengerészet megerősítette, hogy a fedélzeten tartózkodó négy ember, két tiszt és két altiszt meghalt. A haditengerészet közölte, hogy nyomozó csoportot indított a további részletek felderítésére. Civil áldozatokról nem érkezett jelentés – írja az MTI nyomán a hirado.hu.
A tűzoltóság 17 járművet és mintegy 40 főt küldött a balesethez.
A dél-koreai haditengerészet 16 darab P-3C típusú repülőgépet üzemeltet, amelyek tengerészeti felderítő és tengeralattjáró-vadász feladatokat látnak el. A 16 repülőgépből az első nyolcat 1995-ben állították szolgálatba.
A mostani az első ismert baleset, amelyben ez a típus érintett.

Ukrán kikötőben marad az a külföldi teherhajó, amelyet az odesszai régió vizein vettek őrizetbe az orosz megszállókkal való együttműködés miatt, közölte Dmitro Pletencsuk, az Ukrán Fegyveres Erők haditengerészetének szóvivője a Jedini Novini telemaraton adásában.
„A hajót letartóztatták, egy ukrán kikötőben vesztegel. Ezt a hajót az eljárásnak megfelelően, az ukrán jogszabályok és a hatályos nemzetközi jogszabályok keretein belül őrizetbe vettük. Valójában nem is lehet más választásunk, mert nem sérthette meg a törvényt, nem lépheti át illegálisan az ukrán határt, és nem maradhat felelősségrevonás nélkül” – jelentette be Pletencsuk.
Július 11-én Ukrajna Biztonsági Szolgálata bejelentette, hogy az odesszai térség vízterületén őrizetbe vettek egy külföldi teherhajót és annak kapitányát, amely az orosz megszállóknak segített ukrán gabonát exportálni az ideiglenesen megszállt Krímből.
A titkosszolgálat adatai szerint a hajó az egyik közép-afrikai ország lobogója alatt haladt, és legénysége az Oroszországi Föderáció utasításait teljesítette, hogy ukrán gabonát exportáljanak a Krímből.

Amerika szeretne tengeri úton humanitárius segélyt küldeni Gázába, ám ez úgy tűnik, nem lesz egyszerű. A gázai móló alkatrészeit szállító hajónak máris haza kellett térnie a kikötőbe.
Az amerikai haditengerészet egyik szállító hajója, fedélzetén a Gázába tervezett ideiglenes móló alkatrészeivel, kénytelen volt hazatérni a floridai Jacksonville-be, miután a hajó motorterében tűz ütött ki – közölte szerdán az amerikai haditengerészet.
A Gázába tervezett mólót, melynek célja humanitárius segély eljuttatása az enklávéba, még márciusi évértékelőjén jelentette be Joe Biden amerikai elnök, és három hajó már útnak is indult, hogy megkezdje a létesítmény felépítését. Azonban az egyik hajó, az USNS 2nd Lt. John P. Bobo motorterében tűz ütött ki, amelyet ugyan a legénység el tudott oltani, sőt személyi sérülés sem történt, ám a hajónak vissza kellet térnie a kikötőbe. A baleset körülményeit vizsgálják.
A Bobo mellett az USNS 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez indult el ebben a hónapban, míg már márciusban útra kelt az MV Roy P. Benavidez. A Bobo hazatértével kapcsolatos tájékoztatás arra nem utalt, hogy késne a gázai móló felépítése. A Pentagon szerint április végére vagy május elejére lehet kész a kikötő. Egy tisztviselő a USNI Newsnak elmondta, most azt vizsgálják, hogy milyen gyorsan lehet megjavítani a hajót, illetve szükséges-e helyette egy másik óceánjárót felhasználni.
Ugyanakkor az sem állítható, hogy nincs csúszás a projektben, hiszen az amerikai hadügyminisztérium eredetileg április közepét jelölte meg a móló elkészültének időpontjaként.

Amint arról korábban beszámoltunk kalózok támadtak meg és kerítettek hatalmukba egy kereskedelmi hajót Szomália partjainál. Az indiai haditengerészet viszont sikeresen véget vetett a teherhajó-eltérítésnek.
Az ázsiai ország haditengerészetének pénteki közlése szerint egyik hadihajójuk, a Chennai nevű romboló sietett a libériai zászló alatt hajózó Lila Norfolk segítségére, s a haditengerészeti kommandós egységek (Marcos) ugyan nem találtak kalózokat a fedélzeten, de a 21 fős legénységet – köztük 15 indiai állampolgárt – evakuálták.
A tájékoztatás szerint az indiai hadihajó jelenleg segítséget nyújt a Lila Norfolknak, hogy az helyre tudja állítani az áramellátást, s folytathassa útját rendeltetési helye felé.
A kalózok azon próbálkozását, hogy eltérítsék a hajót, valószínűleg keresztülhúzta az indiai haditengerészet erőteljes figyelmeztetése, miszerint egy haditengerészeti járőrrepülő és egy indiai hadihajó közeledik – áll a közlésben.
A brit tengeri kereskedelmi hivatal (UKMTO) és az Ambrey nevű, hajózási biztonsággal foglalkozó brit magáncég csütörtökön számolt be a kalóztámadásról mintegy 850 kilométerre keletre a szomáliai Ejl városától. A tájékoztatás szerint mintegy hat fegyveres szállt fel a teherhajóra, míg a legénység a hajó gyomrában sáncolta el magát.
A teherhajó a bahreini Halífa bin Szalmán kikötőjébe tartott, egyelőre nem ismeretes, hogy mit szállít.
Abhidzsit Szing, az újdelhi székhelyű Observer Research Foundation agytröszt hajózási ügyekkel foglalkozó részlegének vezetője azzal magyarázta a kalóztámadások számának hirtelen megugrását az utóbbi időben, hogy a tengeri rablók kihasználják a jelenlegi helyzetet, amelyben a kalóztevékenység megfékezését szolgáló haditengerészeti erők figyelme az Ádeni-öbölről elterelődött a Vörös-tenger térségére.
A 2008-ban indított uniós, Atalanta fedőnevű, kalózellenes műveletnek köszönhetően jelentősen sikerült visszaszorítani a tengeri rablók tevékenységét. Legutóbb december 14-én jelentettek kalóztámadást a térségből.

Az amerikai haditengerészet helikopterei elsüllyesztették a jemeni húszi lázadók három kishajóját, miután azok megtámadtak egy konténerszállító hajót a Vörös-tengeren – közölte a hadsereg vasárnap.
A húszik tüzet nyitottak az amerikai helikopterekre, amelyek ezt követően „önvédelemből viszonozták a tüzet”. A négy kis vízi jármű közül hármat elsüllyesztettek, személyzetüket megölték – közölte az amerikai hadsereg központi parancsnoksága (Centcom).
A negyedik hajó „elmenekült a területről”.
A Centcom szerint az amerikai haditengerészet a Maersk Hangzhou, egy szingapúri zászló alatt közlekedő, Dánia tulajdonában és üzemeltetésében lévő konténerszállító hajó segítségkérésére reagált, amely arról számolt be, hogy 24 órán belül másodszor támadták meg a Vörös-tengeren.
A hajót korábban két, a húszik által ellenőrzött jemeni területről indított ballisztikus rakétával vették célba, amelyeket az amerikai hadsereg lelőtt.
Ezek a támadások egy olyan tranzitútvonalat fenyegetnek, amelyen a világkereskedelem teherforgalmának 12 százaléka bonyolódik, ami arra késztette az Egyesült Államokat, hogy a hónap elején többnemzetiségű haditengerészeti erőket vessen be a Vörös-tengeren közlekedő hajók védelmére.
Közvetlenül az amerikai bejelentés után a dán Maersk vállalat bejelentette, hogy 48 órára felfüggeszti hajóinak áthaladását a Vörös-tengeren.

Furcsamód a 24 éves Kyle Mullen már túlesett az olyan megpróbáltatásokkal járó héten, mint az 50 órás alvásmegvonás.

A helikopter rutin repülési műveletet hajtott végre, amikor a vízbe csapódott helyi idő szerint kedden 16.30-kor. A baleset ügyében vizsgálatot indítottak.
A szerencsétlenség során öt olyan tengerészgyalogos is megsérült, akik az Abraham Lincoln fedélzetén tartózkodtak, ahonnan az MH-60S típusú helikopter felszállt. Az ő állapotuk stabil – közölte a csendes-óceáni flotta egyik szóvivője.
A tény, hogy a repülőgép-hordozón tartózkodó legénység is megsérült, találgatásokhoz vezetett arról, hogy a helikopter vagy egyes részei eltalálhatták a hajót.
Az MH-60S-en általában négyfős legénység utazik. A helikoptert harctéri támogatásra, humanitárius katasztrófák esetében segítségnyújtásra, valamint kutatás-mentéshez használják.

Az amerikai haditengerészet helikopterének legénysége egy mentési kísérlet alkalmával csapódott a földnek a White-hegységben. A négyfős mentőcsapat csodával határos módon megmenekült.
A földnek csapódott egy eltűnt túrázót kereső haditengerészeti helikopter még pénteken, a kaliforniai White-hegységben. A négyfős legénységnek több mint 20 órát kellet a zord terepen tartózkodnia, mielőtt kimentették volna a bajba jutott természetjárót – számolt be a Fox News amerikai hírportál.
A péntek este indított mentőakció ugyan kudarcba fulladt, de a mentőhelikopter legénységének még épp időben sikerült éjszakai mentőcsomagokkal segíteni a bajbajutott kirándulót – olvasható a haditengerészet közleményében.
A négyfős személyzet sérülés nélkül túlélte a balesetet, de éjszakára nekik is 3500 méteres tengerszint feletti magasságban kellett maradniuk.
A szombati nap is hasonló nehézségekkel indult, de a harmadik próbálkozás során, sikerült megmenteni a négy, az éjszakára a vadonban ragadt katonát. A baleset oka jelenleg ismeretlen, de a haditengerészet a Naval Safety Center segítségével jelenleg is vizsgálatot folytat az ügyben.
