Vasárnap este újabb kiterjedt dróntámadást indított az orosz hadsereg az odesszai régió ellen, amely elsősorban a kikötői és energiaellátó létesítményeket érintette – közölte az Unian.
Oleh Kiper, az odesszai Területi Katonai Közigazgatás (OVA) vezetője szerint a légvédelem ugyan hatékonyan dolgozott, de több városból robbanásokról számoltak be, és a kritikus infrastruktúrában így is károk keletkeztek. A támadás során több civil hajó is megrongálódott, a keletkezett tüzeket azonban a mentőszolgálatok gyorsan eloltották. A hatóságok egy sérültről, egy 18 éves fiatalról számoltak be.
A régió ügyészsége közölte, hogy az orosz fegyveres erők drónokkal egy várost és egy járást is célba vettek, ezért háborús bűncselekmény gyanújával indult eljárás. A helyszínen ügyészek és rendőrök dolgoznak, a nyomozást pedig a területi rendőri egységek folytatják. Különösen súlyos károk érték az izmaili kerületet, ahol a támadás következtében részleges áramszünet alakult ki Izmail városában és Broska faluban.
A létfontosságú rendszerek egyelőre tartalék áramforrásról működnek.
A helyi önkormányzat és a katasztrófavédelem folyamatosan dolgozik a helyreállításon. A víz-, szennyvíz- és hőellátást jelenleg generátorok biztosítják, az egészségügyi és szociális intézmények pedig szintén tartalék áramról üzemelnek. Az Izmail Városi Tanács megkezdte a károk dokumentálását és a pusztítás mértékének felmérését. A vizsgálóbizottság már felállt, és elsődleges feladata az áramellátás helyreállításának koordinálása.
Olekszij Kuleba, Ukrajna közösségi és területfejlesztési minisztere beszámolt arról is, hogy a támadás során több kikötői berendezés és számos civil hajó károsodott, egyes kikötőkben pedig áramszünet alakult ki. A szakemberek jelenleg a sérült infrastruktúra helyreállításán dolgoznak.

Kínai és Fülöp-szigeteki parti őrhajók ütköztek össze hétfő hajnalban a vitatott Dél-kínai-tengeren és legalább két hajó megrongálódott. Mindkét fél a másikat hibáztatja a Spratly-szigetek közelében található egyik vitatott zátonynál történt ütközésért. Sérülésekről nem érkezet hír.
A kínai parti őrség azzal vádolta a Fülöp-szigeteket, hogy az egyik hajója szándékosan ütközött egy kínai hajóval. A kínai közlemény szerint két Fülöp-szigeteki parti őrhajó lépett be a zátonyhoz közeli vizekre, figyelmen kívül hagyták a kínai parti őrség figyelmeztetését, és az egyik hajó szándékosan ütközött egy kínaival.
A közleményben azt írták, hogy „a Fülöp-szigetek teljes mértékben felelős az ütközésért, és figyelmeztetik a Fülöp-szigeteki felet, haladéktalanul hagyja abba a jogsértést és a provokációt, különben viselni fogja az ebből eredő összes következményt”.
Fülöp-szigeteki közlés szerint a térségben található Patag és Lawak szigetekre tartó két hajójuk azt tapasztalta, hogy kínai hajók „törvénytelen és agresszív manővereket hajtanak végre, aminek a következtében ütközésre került sor, szerkezeti károsodást okozva mindkét fülöp-szigeteki hajóban”.
Kína és a Fülöp-szigetek vitában áll az energiaforrásokban és halban gazdag, stratégiai fontosságú Dél-kínai-tengerrel kapcsolatban, amelyen évente sok milliárd dollár értékű árut szállítanak. Peking a terület szinte egészét magának követeli, de a Fülöp-szigetek – akárcsak Vietnam, Malajzia és Brunei – is igényt tart bizonyos területekre.
Kína figyelmen kívül hagyja a hágai Állandó Választottbíróság ítéletét, amely 2016-ban Manila igényét ismerte el jogosnak.

Figyelmeztető lövésekkel tartóztatott fel az orosz haditengerészet a Fekete-tengeren egy palaui zászló alatt közlekedő teherhajót, amely az ukrajnai Izmajil kikötőjébe tartott – közölte vasárnap az orosz védelmi minisztérium – írja az Unian.
„Augusztus 13-án, moszkvai idő szerint körülbelül 06.40-kor a Fekete-tenger délnyugati részén a Fekete-tengeri Flotta Vaszilij Bikov járőrhajója észlelte a Sukru Okan nevű, palaui zászló alatt közlekedő szárazáru-szállító hajót, amely az ukrajnai Izmajil kikötőjébe tartott” – hangzott a közlemény.
A tárca szerint a szárazáru-szállító hajó kapitánya nem reagált az orosz félnek arra a felszólítására, hogy állítsa meg a hajót ellenőrzés céljából. A jármű megállásra kényszerítésére az orosz hajó figyelmeztető tüzet nyitott, és felszállt egy orosz Ka–29-es helikopter.
A teherhajó erre megállt, majd miután átvizsgálták, a moszkvai tájékoztatás értelmében folytatta útját az ukrán kikötőbe, írja az MTI.
