Egy tragikus hőlégballon-baleset rázta meg Hollandia Friesland tartományát, amikor egy ballon egy mezőn kényszerleszállást hajtott végre.
A helyi hatóságok közlése szerint az eset következtében egy ember életét vesztette, és további öt személy megsérült. Az elmúlt napban két különböző szénbányabaleset is történt Kínában, amiről a CCTV állami televízió számolt be. A két balesetnek összesen 12 áldozata van, olyan súlyosan megsérültek, hogy nem tudták megmenteni őket. A kormány a korábbi incidensek miatt felülvizsgálatot rendelt el a bányabiztonsági jogszabályok területén.
A CCTV keddi beszámolója szerint hétfőn, éjfél előtt egy földalatti szénbunker omlott be, aminek következtében öten meghaltak. Jelenleg is intenzív mentési munkálatok zajlanak a területen, de öten már biztosan elhunytak a baleset miatt.
Egy másik kínai szénbányában pedig gázrobbanás történt. Hét embert holtan találtak, kettőt pedig eltűntként tartanak nyilván. A 2023-as év különösen nehéz volt a szénbányákban a sorozatos balesetek miatt, ami arra kényszerítette Kína bányabiztonsági hatóságát, hogy módosítsa a törvényt, mely egy tisztviselő szerint kiemelkedő problémákat tartalmazott – írja a CNA. A halálos szénbányabalesetek nem ritkák Kínában, az elmúlt hónapban 10 ember vesztette életét egy ilyen balesetben, ami után a helyi hatóságok biztonsági ellenőrzéseket végeztek.

A helyi hatóságok közlése szerint egy nő száz láb (harminc méter) mélyre zuhant barlangászás közben Virginiában – írja az ABC News. A Giles megyei seriffhivatalt pénteken délután nem sokkal 4 óra után értesítették, mondván, a baleset egy barlangban történt Staffordsville-ben.
A bejelentés után a hatóságok mellett egy mentőcsapat is érkezett a helyszínre, de hamar rájöttek, hogy további speciális segítségre van szükség. Ezt követően érkezett meg a Blacksburg Rescue Squad barlangász csapata, hogy segítsenek a mentési munkálatokban. Miután megtalálták a nőt és halottnak nyilvánították, a holttestét a felszínre hozták.
A baleset körülményeit még vizsgálják, egyéb információt pedig nem közöltek.
