Az ukrán védelmi erők péntek délelőtt megállították az orosz offenzívát Harkiv irányában – jelentette be Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök, tájékoztatott az rbc.ua hírportál az Ukrinform hírügynökségre hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az elnök közölte: „Reggel 7-8 óráig heves tüzérségi csata zajlott. Ekkor megállították az oroszok offenzíváját.” Mint jelezte, az ukrán fegyveres erők készen állnak az oroszok ilyen akcióira.
„Ukrajna felvette velük a harcot a csapatainkkal, dandárjainkkal és tüzérségünkkel. Fontos, hogy ebben az irányban növelni tudták az erőiket, de a katonaságunk, a mi parancsnokságunk tudott erről, és úgy számították ki az erőinket, hogy tűzzel szálljanak szembe az ellenséggel. Most brutális csata folyik ebben az irányban, tűzzel vettük fel a harcot velük” – mutatott rá Volodimir Zelenszkij.

Csütörtök hajnalban orosz dróncsapás érte Harkiv városát, amelynek a legfrissebb adatok szerint négy halottja, valamint 12 sérültje van – írja a The Kyiv Independent Oleh Szinyehubov harkivi kormányzóra hivatkozva.
Az orosz drónok helyi idő szerint éjjel 1 óra körül csapódtak be a városban, és több épületben, köztük egy 14 emeletes lakóépületben is károkat okoztak.
